Cute and Cozy Canal Home -Short Distance to the Beach

FantaSEA on the Bay – your vacation home away from home where memories are made! Just minutes from the beach!!!

Escape the city life and head to Jamaica Beach! Nestled between the bay and the surf, you have the best of both worlds. Whether you bring your fishing gear and catch your canal dinner off the deck or take a chair over to the beach and catch a sunset, FantaSEA on the Bay is sure to keep you coming back. The kitchen is stocked with every gadget you will need to prepare and serve your meals in house. Outside is where you will want to spend most of your time but have no fear, the WIFI is spot on, so work if you must, stream the shows you just can’t miss and feel free to post your stay on Insta!


NOTE: We have 3 cameras on the exterior of the home for safety and security. One downstairs near garage, one up top on the front balcony, and a doorbell camera. All cameras will be on during, before and after your stay.

We do not allow any pets at our place. If found with a pet, there will be an extra cleaning fee of $350+.

There is a boat in the boat slip. Please do not allow children or adults to climb in or on, or touch the controls to the boat slip.

Weather and Other Unforeseen Events: The owner does not accept liability for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in the supply of water, gas, electricity, plumbing, satellite/cable, WIFI, damage caused by weather/road conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of God or other reasons beyond its control. No refunds will be given for any delays or cancellations due to such conditions. Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all stays. If you plan to bring your boat or jet ski's, please let us know before your arrival. The city of Jamaica Beach charges $10 for each day the ramp is used in the Marina area. We have to apply for these tags in advance.

Anniversary weekend getaway

Had a wonderful weekend away and this home was just perfect. Quiet on the canal, all the amenities needed and so clean! Communication was great and easy when needed. Will definitely recommend and stay again!

Great little house

We had a lovely time during our stay. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck over the water in the evenings. I love that it's in a quieter and less densely crowded area. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Paradise

Lovely home with everything you need to make it a fantastic stay. Fishing was fun, property was clean. Neighbors to the left were awesome! Short drive to the beach with drive up beach access. Great long weekend stay!

Great Host, beautiful sunsets.

Tara and Robert were great. She answered all my questions. They were both always available within 10-15 mins of any text messages. Maintaining a property on the water is always a challenge so a few things do need a little updating. But checking in was easy, the sunsets breathtaking and location worked great for my family. Nice touch with the extras such as complimentary toilet treats, kitchen products and other extras that you don’t get at other properties.

Relaxing Getaway

The house is in a great location. It is a nice and quiet area which was perfect when wanting to get away from the busy Seawall/Galveston area. The house is clean and the master bed was very comfortable. Fishing off the dock was also a good time! There was a glitch causing a delay in contact on the property management side. However, the owner keeps a close eye on their property to make sure their guests have a pleasant and positive experience. The owner reached out and answered my question. The owner is very kind and pleasant. The property management also reached out apologizing for the glitch. Also, very kind. We had a positive experience all around and we will be saving this place as a top favorite for when we travel to the Galveston area.

Nice Canal Front Home

We enjoyed the stay we had here. It had everything we needed. Plenty of bedding and towels. The paddle boat on in the pictures is not available anymore and the kayak will not hold most adults. We enjoyed fishing off the back, but bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are bad. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. Overall a great place. Wish it had a washer and dryer but there was one right down the street.

Beautiful Private Home

This cute little home was both quiet and cozy. Everything was very clear and super comfortable. The beds were soft and when it stormed one day, the TV app options and live TV came in handy. The only little bit of advice I’d give to guests is to bring the OFF Bug Spray. The mosquitos in the area are pretty bad being right on the water. But just make sure to pack that for any outdoor/patio activities and you’re good to go. Overall great stay! Thank you!

Perfect Beach/Fishing Vacation!!

This house and location was amazing for me and my three boys. It was perfect for fishing off of the dock and taking a very short drive to the beach. This house was one of the most well stocked houses I’ve ever stayed in and the beds were super comfy. We definitely hope to return here in the future!!

Best of Both Worlds

We had such a great time at this property!! Our kids (twin boys -14 and daughter - 12) really enjoyed fishing off the dock into the canal, especially at night with the green lights. It was a great location for fishing in the canal, the bay, and in the surf. We rented a golf cart and had a blast driving around the neighborhood and to the beach (only minutes from the house). The house was beautiful and exactly what was pictured in the photos. We cooked all our meals at the house, which had everything we needed. We drove into Galveston a few times for ice cream and mini-golf, but mostly stayed around Jamaica Beach. We really loved the family feel and laid back atmosphere. We went to the beach most days, but decided to hit the neighborhood pool one day for a break from the salt water. It was $5 per person, but totally worth it. There was lots of shade and the water was really refreshing. We would absolutely stay here again!

Best of both worlds! We got to enjoy the fishing off the deck and visit the beach often! Our family had such a fun time in this beautiful home! You get exactly what is shown in the pictures! The hosts do their best to make sure you have a great experience by checking in and making sure you have what you need to have a great time!

Nice Canal house

The house was well decorated and comfortable for my daughter and for a quick weekend at the beach. We sat on the deck next to the canal in the morning and on the upper deck in the afternoon. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Thanks for renting your home.
