Modern mountain home located in the quaint village of Beech Mountain. Perfect for 2 families with amazing kids space complete with their own bunk room, living area, full bathroom and plenty of games to keep them occupied. Walk to ski slopes, sledding hill, restaurants, hiking trails and festivals and concerts. Long range views!
Our townhome is spread over two levels. The main level includes the great room with open plan living, kitchen and dining room. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, along with our private balcony complete this level. Take in the views of Grandfather Mountain or the ski slopes of Sugar Mountain from the balcony. End the day with a drink under the twinkle lights and enjoy the crisp mountain air.
The lower level features the perfect kid hang out. They have their own living area complete with TV, games and plenty of space to spread out. Two captains bunk beds, a dining/games table, Foosball, wet bar, fridge and full bathroom complete the space.
Our amazing location is atop Beech Mountain. We are within walking distance of the ski slopes, hiking trails, restaurants and the General Store. Our mountain community is within a short drive of wineries, zip lining, an alpine coaster and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Or explore Grandfather Mountain with its amazing views, animal preserve and filming location of Forrest Gump. Nearby local towns are home to universities, quaint shopping, world class dining and challenging golf courses.
Whether you are looking for a thrilling, adventure filled getaway or a quiet, relaxing retreat, a visit to Beech Mountain and Mountain Top Retreat will definitely please.

We are a family of five from Raleigh, North Carolina. We love the outdoors, whether it be biking, hiking, or skiing the slopes.

We are walking distance to lift 1 on Skiloft Road. You can purchase your lift tickets online through Beech Mountain Ski Resort and pick them up from the ticket booth located beside the main lodge. If you chose to get your skis somewhere other than the resort, we recommend these places on the mountain. You can pick up your equipment the night before. Beech Meadows Ski Shop, White Wolf lodge.
Also, in Banner Elk we recommend Ski Country, and Alpine ski center.
You will be walking distance to Fred’s Mast General Store, Brick Oven, Holy Smokes Barbecue, hiking trails, and the sledding hill.
