We stayed at this house while our home was being repaired. We loved it there. The house has everything you need and more to be comfortable. I will recommend my family and friends to stay at Serenity Cove when visiting the beach.

A nice, quiet, comfortable place! We (myself and my Miniature Schnauzers) loved our stay and I so wanted to stay longer. It was so convenient for the furry babies. Our hostess, Karen is amazing! We loved staying here! The place exudes character from every corner. It was so comfortable and the view was glorious. It’s an easy walk to great restaurants and to the touring boats docked by the Dali house. Highly recommend!

Difficult to find because you don’t realize that there are two houses at that address. Ours was the house in the rear. I loved having a fenced backyard. House was clean and was decorated nicely. But, the smell of mildew was overwhelming. We ended up moving to a resort because of the mildew.

So sorry for your experience. I wish you would have reached out to us. We had some very humid days which can result in dampness. We keep Damp Rid bags in all the rooms which usually help. Vrbo is suppose to send out welcome email which gives directions to the house and where to enter. My husband went over and showed you how to get in. We also could have moved you to the front house if you had let us know. We strive to make our guests happy. So sorry.

Wonderful vacation stay

Perfect house for us and our dog, had everything we could possibly need, even a basket of dog toys (which our fussy dog ignored!). Beautifully furnished and very clean. Very close to community park and marsh walk, close to Garden City beach. Other beaches, Myrtle Beach State Park and Huntington Beach State Park only a few miles away.

Just ok.

The property is a shared property. We were in the second unit. We had a few unwelcome guests in the form of bugs and our neighbors in the other unit left early due to the bugs they found in their unit. The signage in the unit is a little hostile. The dishes must be cleaned and dried or you’ll be charged, don’t take their towels to the beach or you’ll be charged. And we were actually charged $70 because we had a party of more than two people. It’s a really dated space with linen that aren’t the cleanest and it isn’t in the best location. The vibe isn’t designed so you feel comfortable and welcome. However, it is more affordable than newer rentals. The beach is walkable but, you have to walk on the shoulder of a pretty busy road and bridge with no side walk. It’s pretty much necessary to drive if you have children or less active members in your party. There are enough places for 8 to sleep comfortably and the kitchen has a decent amount of amenities, it could just really use an upgrade.

We're sorry you were so unhappy we wish you would have called us. We have Terminix service if you saw a bug they would come out immediately to spray. Your reservation was for 2 guests and you had 7. There is a $10 charge for over 6 guests. We do request that you start dishwasher and not take our bath towels to the beach. Housekeeper found no evidence of bugs. We also called Terminix and they saw no evidence of bugs. We really wish you would have called so Terminix could have came out. They also spray the yard for bugs.
