We had high hopes of finding a place near our daughter’s home. Hopes dashed. It’s important to know, there are 15 stairs before you get to the apt.door, then another 15 stairs to get to the room. Don’t believe the listing. The couch is broken (chaise lounge part) and it is dirty. There is no twin bed or desk area. The bedroom blinds don’t cover the windows, and the blinds in the living room do not block sun. We had to purchase sleep masks to use. There was no hair dryer upon arrival and we thought the bedroom fan was going to fall off the ceiling. A hair dryer was supplied, and the fan fixed several days after reporting. One day the water in the bathtub would not shut off, the handle just spun around. FOUR HOURS after being reported, maintenance showed up to fix it. First thing they said was ‘no one told me the water was running’. We arrived on May 24. On the 29th I let them know the handle fell off the old skillet provided (the very first time I touched it), and the microwave worked, but the turntable did not work properly. We left June 23 and the skillet and microwave are still in those conditions. And, the cooking utensils were all either greasy or dirty. No instructions left. Barking dogs for hours from bottom apt. Repairman came unannounced. Back basement door left open allowing access up a secluded stairway to our apartment. They did point out we had locks on the door. Right, no one has ever overpowered a lock before. Very unsafe. The place reads ‘WE DO NOT CARE’.
