Walk the short distance to the beach through the neighborhood's private access for a day on the beach. In the evening, grill some burgers while then kids hang out in the game room. You are sure to get a healthy dose of relaxation while staying at the Mermaids' Cove.

The space
The Mermaid's Cove is a family friendly home with a great view of the ocean through the many windows and open-concept entertainment. It is located in a secluded neighborhood a few minutes' walk to the beach through the neighborhood's private access road.

This home has everything you'll need on your vacation. Kick back and relax in the sunlit living room after a day out in the beach with your family and friends.

The bedrooms are spacious, with memory foam mattresses and light-blocking curtains for a long leisurely morning of rest.

The spacious, fully equipped kitchen and commercial grade refrigerator offers plenty of space to cook your favorite meals effortlessly while guests mingle nearby.

Out on the deck, you have an area to eat or relax with a view of the beach. If you are ready for some fun in the sun, the beach is just a short walk or ride away.

Master bedroom
Relax in our luxurious walk-in, rain shower head and luxurious finishes before retreating to the lush king size bed for a replenishing night of well deserved rest.
King size bed, flat screen TV and desk area in bedroom in case you need to catch up on work during your stay. Slip out to the back deck through the sliding door to enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning.

Bedroom 2
Wake up to enjoy a great view of the ocean through your window. It has a Full size bed and plenty of storage room.

Bedroom 3
2 bunk beds (1 full and 1 twin) to sleep 6 people, a great space for the little ones in the group. Access to back deck through sliding door in room.

Game room
The game room is equipped with a TV, game console and small pool table (not full size) that converts to a ping pong table or air hockey. We also have several board games for you to enjoy with the family. If it's time to rest, draw the curtains and pull out couch to convert it to a small bed.

Full size washer and dryer available in laundry room.

Deck area
There is a large covered area for you to relax and enjoy the ocean view while eating and relaxing. There is also plenty of space on the deck to catch some sun. There is a gate to close off the deck at the top of the stairs to make the deck safe for little ones.

Downstairs area
Show off your grill master skills and grill some delicious burgers in the charcoal grill while the kids runs around in the large downstairs area or rinse in the outdoor shower after a trip to the beach.

This home located in Crystal beach and requires a ferry ride if you are coming in from Galveston.

Free Wi-Fi
The home is located in a fairly remote area subject to a temperamental weather and winds. Wi-Fi is often spotty or out. We do not offer refunds or discounts in the even that this occurs during your stay.

Check-in/Check-out:
Early check-in or late check-outs are not available, we want to give our cleaners ample time to make the house clean and sanitized for you and our next guest.
Check-in: after 4:00 p.m
Check-out: before 10:00 a.m

If you are coming to Crystal beach through Galveston, you will need to take the 20 minute ferry ride to get to the peninsula. Watch for dolphins swimming alongside the ferry.
During the summer season and weekends, the wait for a ferry can get long. Check wait times on lines and plan accordingly or you can avoid the ferry by going through Winnie, TX. Enjoy the drive along the shoreline, keep an eye out for spots to stop and hunt for shells on your way in.

NO SMOKING permitted in our around the home. You will be liable for additional cleaning costs to cleanse the home of smells and debris of any signs of smoking of any kind is found in or around the home.

MINIMUM RENTING AGE: 25 years of age
The primary renter (person who provided valid ID) or a person over the age of 25 years of age must remain on the premises at all times during the stay if there are no other adults in the group.

This home are privately owned we are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while a guest at the property.

By making this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of harm arising from their use of the property or others whom they invite to use the property.

Once you have booked a reservation, please submit a valid government issued ID required to verify identity to Airbnb within 24 hours.
After 24 hours, the no penalty cancellation policy expires and we have the right to withhold all payments if you are under the age of 25.

OCCUPANCY - MAX 11 guests
While we would love to host many of you, we think this home is only big enough to comfortable accommodate 11 guests.
Nightly rate is for the max number of guests listed. No exceptions.
If you exceed occupancy, we have the right to terminate the rental agreement. No refunds will be issued

The house runs on a delicate septic system & has a maximum occupancy, therefore when exceeded, it floods the system. If you violate this policy, you will be subject to a fine & pay for any damages to the septic system. Damage to a septic system is not covered under home insurance policies.

PARKING
Limit is 4 vehicles at all times during your stay.

WEATHER:
The house located in a peninsula on the Gulf of Mexico so there is a possibility for all kinds of weather depending on season.

CANCELLATIONS AND OR REFUNDS:
We do not offer refunds or discounts in the event of a hurricane or bad weather, rainy days or tropical storms. We do not offer refunds for appliance failure, utility failure or circumstances outside our control.
