Charming getaway close to beaches

Quite guest cottage located close to town. It is a great place to relax and unwind. Or just a place to rest your head after busy day of exploring all the local amenities, wineries, breweries, beaches, lakes, eateries.

During your stay you may sight a white and black cat with a black heart on her paw. Her name is Daisy Coco Chanel, she spends most of the day sleeping in various areas of the yard. If happen to spot her feel free to pet her she is friendly but please do not allow her to visit you in the house. The owner’s live on property in the front house.

Everything about the place, and the hosts, was absolutely perfect. Tammy and John are wonderful hosts and their place provides virtually every ameninty we could have hoped for. It instantly became very clear why they consistently receive 5-Star ratings!

Our stay was so comfortable and all the little details were so appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, lots of towels and blankets available, comfortable beds and outdoor area. We loved it and highly recommend. The property managers communicated with us immediately and made us feel very comfortable.

The property was centrally located to all the shops we needed, it was so convenient! Although it didn’t have the modern amenities like a dishwasher and air conditioning, we found ourselves very comfortable and relaxed. The VRBO owners were responsive! It was great.

My two girlfriends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful VRBO rental, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how incredibly cute and immaculately clean the house was. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated, making for a truly inviting and comfortable stay.The amenities truly set this property apart. We absolutely loved unwinding in the hot tub under the stars, and the fire pit provided the perfect cozy spot for evening chats. The yard itself is wonderfully cute and well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of the property.While the backyard is shared with the main house, we barely noticed! The owners were incredibly respectful of our privacy and remained completely unobtrusive throughout our stay. It felt like we had the space entirely to ourselves.We highly recommend this VRBO rental for anyone looking for a relaxing, charming, and amenity-rich escape. We're already dreaming of our next visit!

Wonderful Hosts made us feel at home

We came up to SLO to visit our CP student for a quick weekend visit and wanted to be able to lounge, have some quality family time and our student requested home cooked meals - and that is exactly what we got! The backyard provided the perfect space to bbq, have dinner and play some board games. Tammy was kind enough to give us the driveway to play cornhole, which was also a lot of fun! The pullout couch in the living room was perfect for lounging and watching a movie. We appreciated Tammy’s responsiveness and willingness to accommodate our needs throughout the weekend.

Beautiful and relaxing

This is a beautiful back house. Very clean and comfy. The plants were beautiful. There is an option of Sun or shade on the property. Plenty of seating options. The hot tub was clean and well cared for. The hosts were very nice, and helpful.

Great little place

So many thoughtful touches from the host: several bottles of cold water in fridge, q-tips and make up cleanser pads in the bathroom. The bed in the primary bedroom was super soft and comfortable and the shower is great!

Clean, cute, perfect for our stay

Clean, comfortable, very well maintained cottage. Lots of thoughtful details. Easy drives to Pismo Beach, Lopez Lake, and SLO. Really nice outdoor space that I wish we had more time to use. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Please support mom and pop rentals like this. Owner/manager is on site and very responsive to questions/small details.

One of the very best vacation homes ever!!

This amazing home exceeded our already high expectations based on the listing. It is so well cared for, laid out and equipped. The beds were all comfortable and included a queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the front bedroom, and a double/queen sofa bed in the living room. Loved the bathroom - the hot water and the water pressure of the waterfall shower head were awesome. The kitchen was equipped with anything we might need including steak knives for the evening we grilled steaks on the Traeger, available in the backyard. The backyard was incredible! Beautifully arranged with trees and plants, there’s a hot tub, a hammock which the teens loved, comfortable furniture, dining table and two(!) fire pits - one for bonfires and one for gas fires. It was just all so lovely - there were even lights strung high over the yard. Tammy and her husband were super gracious and provided recommendations for restaurants that we really really loved (Giuseppe’s) and beaches like Avila that we would not have known about without their suggestion. They really made us feel welcome and cared for. We just loved it. Can’t say enough good things about our experience!

Perfect getaway for a weekend away

This place is so cute with a very nice backyard. We were there to relax over the weekend, but it worked out very well too to work from since the WIFI was strong for online meetings. The bed is very comfortable and kitchen well stacked with equipment. Also a plus to be able to walk to some very nice restaurants, we enjoyed Ember in particular. The hosts are superfriendly and response very fast to messages. We will come back

Central coast gem

Overall excellent. Backyard is peaceful and private. Close proximity to AG and Grover Beach. Lots of amenities including a grill, hot tub, full kitchen, fireplaces. Guests should be aware that there is only one real bedroom. Other beds are couch conversions located in the entryway (which has a door and is private) and other Is in the main living room, so not very private.

The most ideal private retreat spot ever

This was my second stay at Tammy and John's charming VRBO. As an introvert/creative with an overly active brain, I've arrived each time with one goal in mind: to relax, unpack and spread out all my ideas/papers/books/articles that I've been saving. Since work life doesn't leave me with ample energy to create and restore, I come HERE for 4-5 days each year.Tammy and John have created a private, welcoming, comfortable home with lovely touches. They are thoughtful hosts who stay invisible but super responsive. Highly highyly recommend this spot.
