Villa Mirador / Chef Aaron / Masseuse Anna Sosa

The Villa was better than advertised. Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. Juan (the property manager) was awesome and unobtrusive. We had Chef Aaron preparing our breakfasts/lunches/dinners/stocking the refrigerator everyday of our stay and he and his team were fantastic! Anna Sosa the masseuse was the best we have ever had. We had her back several times during our 15 day stay. Rich the owner was also great for tips on trips, rentals and guides. Overall a memorable trip and exceeded our expectations.

Unfortunate storm

We had booked this property several Months in advance for a family vacation. However hours before we were scheduled to depart, the area was there was a large tropical storm threatening to become a hurricane. Our host was incredibly understanding and allowed us to cancel as we were traveling with small children and the threat of washed out roads and storm surges. I can’t thank him enough for his empathy and we will definitely book here in the future.

Family fun

The house is beautiful. We used the pool every day. We also made use of the kayaks and bicycles. Plenty of room for our family of 8. Juan was helpful whenever we needed anything, He set up a snorkeling and lunch trip that was great. Mango's bar and restaurant is within walking distance and Ann and Lish were great for drinks and light meals. We had a fantistic vacation.

Family Spring Break

This property is nothing short of spectacular. Absolute 10 out of 10. A bit of culture shock at the poverty in Belize, but the local people are amazing and so friendly. The property manager, Juan, was on site 24/7 for any issues and is an incredible person. You are a bit isolated from traditional vacation commerce, but given the awesome property, you didn’t even want to leave. A rental car made all the difference so that we could drive into town for groceries and your the countryside.

Fabulous Vacation

We stayed at the villa for 8 days and had a fantastic vacation! There were 4 couples and we had plenty of room in shared spaces and in our private bedrooms. John met us when we arrived and he is such a helpful and nice man who stayed on premises, to help us whenever we needed, as well as make sure the property was maintained beautifully. There are many good restaurants close by, and we also traveled for a couple of expeditions. We highly recommend an island hopping boat tour with Happy Go Luckie tours-they were so kind, fun and we had a great day! The pool and beach are beautiful at the home, and there is a cute bar Mangoes, that is a 5 minute walk down the beach. Great small local bar that has good hamburgers and great cocktails! Richard was always very quick to respond to us, and gave us great places to eat, as well as answered any questions we had. Our vacation was seamless and relaxing and would absolutely give Villa MIrador a 10!! Sarah and Tony

Better than Expected

We stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 12 people. The communication with Richard and the housekeeper was quite seamless. The property was larger and much much cleaner than we expected. This is definitely a place we would return to! The house keeper was quite friendly and very hospitable. He also did a great job of giving our space. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer:) The pool was a hit and all the balconies facing the water was also a huge hit. Thanks Richard and Juan for making this place available and for the great upkeep. It was a really nice, clean place that we would love to come back to someday! God Bless

Amazing!

We all loved staying at Villa Mirador. It was exactly as pictured. The house is very large and could accommodate multiple families. Every bedroom has an en-suite bath. The pool and hot tub are great and the house is beach front. House and grounds are kept beautifully by the caretaker Juan who was available when needed. Richard, the owner, was easily reachable when we had questions about restaurants and tours. Highly recommend it!
