Unplug & Unwind!. Enjoy a private retreat on almost 10 acres within driving distance from DC, VA and MD with Amazing indoor heated salt water pool. Theatre room with reclining seats. Walk to Camp Harding Park with many park amenities. Trout fishing at Licking Creek.

Gorgeous executive Princeton ranch home greets you with custom landscaping for over 6000 interior square feet including an Amazing indoor inground 10,000 gallon Roman shaped pool. The Grand Foyer greets you with a massive chandelier, propane fireplace and 2 story mantel, 3 sets of french doors to the swimming pool room, custom built decor and built in closet cabinetry. Master bedroom suite with two sets of french doors leading to the swimming pool room.
The pool is open year round with water temperature at 83-84 degrees F. The deepest end is 6ft.
THERE WILL BE A SECURITY HOLD (NOT A DEPOSIT JUST A HOLD) THAT WILL BE RELEASED 3 DAYS AFTER CHECK OUT.

About 8 miles to Fort Frederick State Park and Western Maryland Rail Trail. 13 miles to Whitetail Ski Resort.

Regarding PETS: We strive to provide our guests with a space that is free from animal allergens. We are obligated to allow a genuine service animal however, be aware that the animal CANNOT BE LEFT ALONE at the home at all during your stay, not even caged. If the animal is left alone in the home you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund of unused nights.

We had a great stay! The house is much more spacious than the photos show—perfect for our group. The indoor pool and basement theater were highlights, and the outdoor space was great for relaxing. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had a good stove and fridge, though the pots and pans were quite worn and could use replacing.There’s a nice park within walking distance, but not much else nearby, so it’s ideal for staying in and enjoying the home. Overall, a comfortable, well-equipped place for a peaceful retreat!

Perfect Stay in a Beautiful Home

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property!

True Get A Way

This was a true oasis and just what was needed to get away. The property was georgous and we enjoyed the indoor pool each day. Very clean and very comfortable. Family is already wanting to book for next year!

Gorgeous home! Wonderful pool! Great family getaway!

The house is ideal for a family getaway! It is beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. The pool is amazing, the game rooms are fun, and there are plenty of spaces to gather/enjoy company. Judy is the best host! We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful home in peaceful surroundings

This property lives up to its name “Licking Creek Retreat”. We enjoyed the beautiful home, relaxing in the spacious living area and kitchen, and made use of all of the amenities including the heated pool, game room, and theatre room. The surrounding hills and the brook below contributed to peaceful vacation vibes. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Mini Christmas Vacation

The house is gorgeous. You walk through the front doors and immediately see the beautiful heated indoor pool. Our family had a blast in the pool and watching movies in the theater room. The host immediately responded to any questions that we had.

Great House

Beautiful house, wonderful kitchen and dining room. TVs everywhere. Game room. And of course the heated indoor pool. Spent Thanksgiving there. Saw deer outside each morning.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Our family met here for a weekend getaway. The house is amazing and is stocked with everything you need! The pool room is great, the patio out back has firepits for you to sit around at night, and the kids enjoyed riding their bikes on the property and at the park. The views are beautiful and the beds were comfortable.We brought most of our food with us, but there are stores about 15 minutes away. Its a perfect spot to unplug and relax.

Great family vacation

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The pool was a big hit! We enjoyed the movie/game room as well. We cooked breakfast and lunch and loved the kitchen. Was very clean. When ever we had a question, Judy responded quickly. Looking forward to staying here again!! Enjoyed watching the deer behind the house and the creek below house as well. The kids also played at the play ground below the house. Everything was convenient. Thank you Judy!!

We loved our stay! The indoor pool was a huge hit and the basement was such a great place for our family to hang out and play games. We loved the park and creek right next to the property. We want to come back!

Wonderful getaway

The stay at the Licking Creek Retreat was amazing to say the least. The house had all the amenities one could want in a extended weekend getaway. The indoor heated pool surrounded by the house was a highlight. The location was remote-ish but wasn't too far from the nearest towns. This house has it all.

Winter Getaway

Great place to spend with friends and family. 3 small families spent a weekend together at "Licking Creek" and couldn't be happier with our pick. The kids really enjoyed the wonderful pool, game room, and theater. The parents enjoyed being able to have adult time while the kids were happily occupied.

Beautiful Property - Great Stay!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the few days we spent here. Everyone was wishing we could stay longer. It was so fun to be swimming in December! We also made use of the game and theater rooms. There was something for everyone. Judy was an exceptional host, great communicator, and graciously aided me in retrieving an item that was accidently left behind. It’s was a wonderful stay at a perfect home in a quiet, relaxing location and we hope visit again.

Thanksgiving stress relief!!!

We had 6-9 family members staying here, our choice to host a holiday dinner outside of one of our own houses due to space and comfort concerns. This place was perfect for our needs. My mom is arthritic and loves the pool, we used it daily! The kitchens and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Judy was an amazing host, catering to our every need. The views and scenery were calming and relaxing, we saw deer on two occasions. Our teenagers used the nearby park to play basketball and the game room was also a big plus. Instead of shopping we used Black Friday to visit nearby Berkeley Springs for a spa appointment which was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful Retreat

The house was phenomenal, Loved the indoor salt water swimming pool, actually my son and I both lived in the theatre room and the indoor pool area the entire time we were there. Everything outside of the house the entire way around is gorgeous landscaping and tree-wise. Ironically, I stayed here as a guest of the Schwartz family, many years ago and never realized it until I walked through the front door back around 1998ish or so. Being right next to Camp Harding State Park was phenomenal too, as we spent some time in the park and by the creek as well. This was the perfect secluded spot to get some r and r and just relax. We slept like babies while we were there. The owner Miss Judy is amazing to speak to through both texting and email chatting. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a nice quiet place to mentally and physically recharge from their demanding lives.

Wonderful stay and swim, rain or shine

My kids, wife and I enjoyed our four day stay to indulge in all-day-long swims, relaxing, and home theatre. The house was very clean and comfortable and even had a clear night for some backyard astronomy. It was only a moderate drive to antiques and dining in and around the area. Overall, a nice retreat for our family and we look forward to our next stay.

Amazing stay!

This house was breathtaking. From the enormous pool with toys for the kids, to the movie theater and ping pong table, to the immaculately kept bedrooms and bathrooms, and very large backyard, the whole family had a wonderful time. Definitely would come again!
