The balcony view was amazing, straight on overlooking the beach water. Dan was excellent and always got back to us when we reached out to him. Due to the ongoing construction the elevators and halls were extremely dusty and musty smelling. Not the fault of the host, we understand that sometimes repairs are needed. The weather was sunny and hot everyday! We love Destin Fl!

Communication with the owner was the best we’ve experienced! The view is beautiful. There are beach toys included, which is a nice bonus. There are two sets of chairs on the balcony, which is great if you have more than two guests staying.

Fantastic condo! Great location!

Our condo was amazing. Super clean with all the amenities. The beach was great. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. 15 minute drive to the harbor. 5 minute drive to Walmart. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Our host was great atcommunication and very friendly. 5 stars!

Everything was as listed and the host was very kind and answered every call and question we had. The property was very clean, there was construction on the building but it didnt affect anything and couldn’t even tell they were there. Would definitely recommend and return again (:

Needs Massive Updating & Missing Basic Essentials

The views are amazing at Sun Destin as always. However, for this particular unit, we won’t stay there again. I don’t understand why it has such a high rating. When we arrived, the front desk said that the owner hadn’t had anyone on the schedule to stay in the unit, which put me in a small panic. We were able to get in just fine though. There were not enough towels for a 5 day stay. The shower curtain wasn’t sufficient enough to keep the water off the floor. We had to use the towels to keep the floor dry. The owner did bring more towels but, not the ones we really needed which were face towels. This was so annoying. We ran out of toilet paper by the end of our stay. We had to go to the store for the most basic things. The silverware is so old. The couches are dirty and old. We had no use of the bedroom closet or the under cabinet kitchen. They were used for the owners storage. Which makes a small bedroom much smaller due to suitcases. The master bathroom toilet has a screeching noise when flushed. The tv was difficult to operate. It just wasn’t what we hoped our stay would be.

Loved the incredible view! The water was absolutely beautiful! The host was so great and communicated with me throughout my stay. Everything was as described. The property does have ongoing construction.

Absolutely Beautiful

Everything was beautiful! The condo was spotless and so cozy. The view was everything! To wake up to see the beautiful blue waters was absolutely amazing. Also great food places was within walking distances. I loved everything about my satu.

Sister getaway

All in all, it was a great trip and condo was very nice! Construction going on so hot tub was not available to use, we chose a condo for that reason. So that was disappointing but everything else was nice. Waffle House just across the street. Restaurant down stairs was also good. Beach was not crowded and they had chairs in the room to use. Owners are very friendly and made sure all was going well. Would stay there again after construction is done.

Highly Recommend!

Condo was exactly as pictured and we really enjoyed our stay here. Stunning view! With 4 of us, the two toilets and two sinks were great. Had to buy a couple of small dish towels to wash dishes and some trash bags but had pretty much everything else we needed. We did bring extra towels and wash cloths so we didnt have to wash and dry laundry everyday. We would definitely stay here again though. Mr Danny was great! Super nice, excellent communication beforehand, called to see how everything was after we checked in, and recommended several places to eat that after being to Destin 6 times, we had never been to before. We tried three of them and my goodness they were all delicious! The building may be undergoing some renovations at the moment but we hardly noticed. No noise where we were and other than the outdoor pool opening a little late each day, we couldn’t tell. Once all renovations are completed to all condos and the building, this property will be one of the best and nicest in Destin! Super convenient to have a restaurant & bar, coffee/gift shop, gym, splash pad, and both an indoor and outdoor pool at this condominium. We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and it was phenomenal! Bar drinks were good too! Will definitely be back and we highly recommend condo 1607 and Mr. Danny!

Met all of our needs for a family of 4. The splash pad and indoor pool was perfect for our little one. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend to friends and will definitely be going back!!!

Room was clean and exactly like the pictures. All amenities were operational as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you want beautiful ocean front views in a beautifully decorated room!

Great condo!

We loved our stay! We spent all our condo time on the balcony or sleeping. The balcony view is amazing. Danny, the owner was great with communication. Called us several times before our trip and once during the trip to make sure all was well. Danny gave us some recommendations on where to eat, we stopped at them all and we were not disappointed.

Danny and Vanessa have been married 27 years, and it has always been their dream to own a property on the beach like this one. Danny is employed at Horseshoe Casino in Southern IN, and Vanessa works for Jefferson County Public Schools. They have two children, Alex and Gordon. Alex graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2008, and Gordon is currently a student at the University of Louisville. Some of our favorite local spots: Silver Sands Outlet Malls, McGuires Irish Pub, John Quigley's Sports Bar (best cheeseburgers in Destin!), and The Back Porch.
