We had an amazing time! You can't beat the location and the week we were there the weather was perfect. The fenced in area was key for the dogs and Angie and Herb were so easy to communicate with! Thank you for a wonderful week. We will be back for sure!

We had the pleasure of staying at Angie's beach house for our anniversary. This Beach House has everything you will need. It is close to a small convenience store hardware store, a restaurant and the boat launch.I cannot say enough good things about this property. I am a property manager of 56 short term rentals and this is one of the best ones I've ever seen. We have already booked our stay for next year.

Beautiful beach house with amazing view

My wife and I loved our stay at this beautiful beach house sitting steps away from a sandy part of Torch Lake. My wife has a bad ankle and she appreciated the easy layout. Angie communicated everything well to ensure a smooth stay. All the amenities made for a comfortable stay. We thought the beds were comfortable , we slept well. Close to boat rental. Hope to be back , thank you :)

This little house is adorable! It is impeccably clean and had everything we could have possibly needed. And the bed was really comfortable (which is not something I can usually say about places we visit). The little beach in the pictures is fantastic—clean, soft sand. It’s hard to imagine, but it’s even nicer in person. The hosts were absolutely lovely. We and our dogs enjoyed it immensely. There is a road close to the house and there is some traffic. I noticed that drivers were very respectful of walkers — slowing down and moving over with a friendly wave. I walked the dogs several times during our stay and had no problem at all (even when I wore an Ohio State sweatshirt!). I would go back without thinking twice.

Perfect Getaway

We had the best time staying at this beautiful house on Torch! You just cannot beat the beach area and views of the lake from this place. We will definitely be back again! Thank you Angie & Herb for sharing your home with us!

Perfect spot on the lake!

Angie and Herb’s place on Torch was ideal for our family. They were well stocked in everything we needed, had super comfortable beds and had the cabin set up in a way that maximizes space for all. The dock and beach area were absolutely perfect for our little family to enjoy, including our pup. Our family cannot wait to continue to make memories here for many more years to come!

Beautiful Torch Lake

Angie’s Beach House is a gem! Located at the south end of Torch with the famous sandbar in sight. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to the couple of small problems we have. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to coming back.

Perfection in PARADISE!

Angie and Herb’s home is even better than described!! The property is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The location is right on the sandbar but far enough away from the action that you feel privacy. You can walk to the sandbar from the home. We appreciated the comfortable beds! We cannot say enough nice things about our visit and absolutely cannot wait to return.

This place is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time except for, the owners being very intrusive to our stay. The issue was that Angie walked into the cabin back door without permission to find my sister and girlfriend who were in the cabin at the time and never asked them for permission to enter. ILLEGAL!! She came in and started cleaning things but without anyone’s permission to come in. When we told her you can’t legally enter a rental without permission, she said” this is my place and I can enter if I want”. The day we were packing up to leave, Herb her husband said that they took pictures of us and our boat. This was Illegal because we didn’t tell you pictures could be taken of us and or did we know. Also, the day we were leaving they came to the cabin as we were packing up and started taking pictures of us and the cabin as if we had wrecked the place.We did laundry and dishes and pretty much left the place as we left. There issue was that we had pets come which they allow and that we accounted for payment/contract wise. Have fun!!

Amazing Trip!

We had an excellent experience with Angie and her beautiful property. The location is just perfect. The views are superb. Angie thought of everything. I have rented several locations across the country and always needed to pick something up. Angie has everything organized and ready for you to just arrive and relax. She even includes ideas for restaurants and activities if you would like them. Highly recommend. BEST rental property we have stayed at.

Dream Summer Vacation

Celebrated my 30th birthday with a summer family vacation to Torch lake. Despite having been going Up North my entire life this was one of the best vacations! Extremely responsive hosts, the house was clean and as advertised. You can tell these hosts care deeply about providing a great vacation for their guests. While the house was stocked with everything needed and very comfortable the highlight is the exterior of property! A short walk to sandbar, sandy beach, dock to watch boats come off river or sunset, grill, enough space for activities! We were lucky to have weather in mid 80’s which was icing on the cake. The wind was not aggressive during the week and we were able to effectively tie the boat up to the provided bouy without issue throughout the week. It’s exciting to see a host that reinvests in upgrades. I can’t wait to return and stay again!

Excellent Choice!

Our family of five stayed at the Lake House with our golden doodle. One reason we chose this initially is because Angie allows smaller pets. We absolutely LOVED the house, location and waterfront was perfect. The house was clean. I loved the hardwood floors. There are two full baths and three full bedrooms. Tons of closet space. The house is furnished perfectly. The deck is new and all composite wood which is appreciated, no slivers! Angie checked us in fast and has information that is informative about the area. Only disappointment was the weather, which no one controls. We asked if they had loungers for outside. They went and brought us two! The house had all the essentials you need, including laundry. We had a trailer to haul our kayaks and bikes, and we backed that into a garage - it is a covered nice shed -very large for storing bikes, tubes, etc. we did not use our bikes, not a lot of areas to bike ride, plus it rained on and off. The bridge is under construction, but nothing to worry about. We walked to the party store across the bridge - nice walk and party store staff at Fabianos were so friendly. Try thier pizza, too. I highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for couples or families. Six is the maximum. It’s private and nice. Enjoyed! Xoxoxo

Perfect Location on Torch Lake

This home was absolutely fantastic! Angie and her husband were extremely friendly, and are the perfect hosts! The lake house is picture perfect, super clean, and full of charm. Felt just like home away from home, but better! My husband and I stayed with our 7yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix (who is still a puppy at heart despite being an older girl) and another couple (our best friends) who joined us for part of our stay. We all couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved this house! The location is perfection. You won’t find a property with a better spot on Torch Lake. There is a bar/restaurant, general store, party store, boat rentals, and a launch complete with a place to gas up your boat all within walking distance. We made several trips across the street to Torch River Shack to restock our drinks and snacks! The proximity to the sandbar is amazing!! You can see all the boats out there from the deck and private beach area, watch the action from the dock, or swim/walk/boat out to the sandbar and join the fun! We rented a pontoon boat for part of our stay and had an absolute blast out on Torch!! We can’t say enough good things about our stay, and particularly this beautiful home!! We highly recommend it and will be back for sure!!

Perfect views

We had a fantastic week on Torch Lake! The cottage location is great and the views looking down Torch are stunning! Angie is a fantastic & very accommodating host ! The house is well appointed & includes most everything you’d need! The sandy beach is great for hanging out & playing . You can swim or walk to the sandbar! The grill is great! We highly recommend morning coffee on the pier ! Will definitely be returning !

Very enjoyable stay

Angela was very accommodating to our needs. Check in was a breeze, and we felt right at home for our entire stay. The location is fantastic! You can literally walk to the the store, marina, hardware, local diner, and the sandbar! (depending on height). Noted that the dock is not suitable for securing a vessel, but there is a mooring buoy. We were able to beach our pontoon, and secure it to the tree since the weather was favorable. Owners were willing to go above, and beyond to meet our needs. Would stay here again.
