Great property. A very nicely designed and clean 1 bedroom that was very relaxing, and cool in the hot weather. Close enough for a quick drive into the town of New Paltz. I would recommend to anyone.

Our room was freshly updated and clean. All amenities were available and excellent. The shower was especially nice with a rainfall head. Felt great after a long day of hiking and walking! The bed was very comfortable.Jonathon did an excellent job of communicating and sent over lots of recommendations, including food and liquor stores-most important! He sent explicit instructions on locating our unit, parking and entry. Please remember that you are out in the woods and it is a bit remote looking at night. I would have liked the front door with a few less tall weeds, but hey that's living in the woods! I highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

Jon was incredibly communicative and offered great local recommendations. The location was perfect - close to hiking trails, several charming small towns, and a nearby winery. The place was spotless and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Place was perfect for a weekend away to the Hudson Valley. Conveniently located near orchards and wineries, but still "remote".

Pleasant stay in good location

We were very pleased with our stay. 13 minutes north of New Paltz and half hour away from Woodstock. Also had a wonderful dinner at Darlings very nearby in Tilson. Cute loft, inside very modern.

Gorgeous setting close to nature!

This comfortable, spacious one-room loft with separate kitchen and full bath was perfect for a weekend stay! We loved waking up close to nature, visiting local attractions in nearby New Paltz and Kingston during the day, and spending time on the terrace at night. We’d love to make a return trip!

Exactly what we wanted!

We are a small family of three and always come to this area in the fall. The space was perfect for us, super modern and clean. Jon was very helpful, kind and gave great recommendations for the area. We will definitely be back!!

What a lovely place!

This was in a quite remote, rural location - which is what we were looking for! The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It's simple, bright, has everything you need, the bed is great - firm but not like a brick - really nice art and a beautiful map of NY state on the walls. There were thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge for coffee and locally-made hand soap in a glass dispenser in the bathroom. Communication with Jon was top-notch; quick, friendly, and clear. The only small issue we had was that the front door combo lock didn't work - we think it was out of batteries - so we couldn't lock the door while we were away. Since we arrived after dark on the first night and there are multiple doors in the building, some more exterior lighting would have been helpful (the photos you sent of the combo lock and the door handle saved us, though). Thanks so much for a really restful and comfortable stay!

The space was lovely and well-appointed. Jonathan was helpful and kind. I had a great stay with quiet nights and pleasant mornings having coffee on the deck off of the kitchen with view of the pond and lots of birds in the large juniper tree.

Excellent location, Very clean, great communication, which are very important to us. Accurate pictures and description.We were very comfortable at the Blue Heron, this was home base while we spent a day at Mohonk, some time in Kingston and New Paltz. Great weekend escape.Very country vibe which we enjoyed- Jon was a great host, he gave solid recommendations and was only a text or call away.

Warm, cozy accomodations just a stone's throw away from Minnewaska State Preserve

We were thrilled to be greeted with warmth beneath our feet with radiant heated floors that enhanced the simple, yet stylish esthetic of this beautiful property. We were close, but not too close, to the town center where great restaurants and stores were located. We came up here to hike so to have Minnewaska so close made the trip up the mountain easy. The property owner was accessible and responsive at any point I had reached out. We look forward to staying here again.
