Welcome to Ashokan ArtHaus, our stylish, architect-designed home designed for 4 guests. Nestled across from the Ashokan Reservoir on a private compound, you can enjoy the beauty of nature in true comfort. Four guests can share the 2-bedroom studio, the main bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeping loft that can accommodate 2/3. Create you favorite meals in our full kitchen, complete with a Bosch dishwasher, gas stove, and full sized refrigerator/freezer. Hike the Ashokan Rail Trail or ski at Bellayre, Windham or Hunter Mountains. Soak in the Bullfrog Hot Tub when you're ready to wind down from your day. The many cultural highlights of Woodstock, Phoenicia, Kingston & Rhinebeck await.

We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The host was warm and friendly, making check-in and communication easy. The hot tub and outdoor space was absolutely perfect- a great spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. We only stayed for a weekend but wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Very clean and peaceful. A relaxing retreat. The downstairs bed was very comfortable. Wendy was attentive and responsive. The hot tub was exceptionally clean and wonderful.

The Ashokan ArtHaus is a as a wonderful experience. The property is gorgeous and the home is very nicely designed and decorated. We had extreme peace and quiet during our stay. Using the hot tub at night in the woods was a really relaxing experience, and Wendy left all of the instructions and guidance we needed so we didn’t need to bother her during our stay.We would absolutely return to this property and hope to in the future.Unrelated to the property itself, I have to just mention that Steve’s Pizzeria had some of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life. If you stay here, it’s worth ordering from them once for lunch or dinner. They delivered to the rental’s doorway within an hour.

Wendy was such a gracious host! My three friends & I had an amazing girls weekend and staying at this lovely home was one of the biggest reasons for that. This modern space was clean, fully stocked and so comfortable to be in. The hot tub, beautiful outdoor space and additional screened in porch really put this property above the rest! Thank you so much Wendy for sharing your beautiful space with us! We plan to come back soon!

Lovely getaway on the Ashoakan Reservoir

The host provided a very detailed guide and getting into the property was very straightforward. I absolutely loved the outdoor patio space - a lovely spot to eat breakfast and look out at the trees. The hottub was also very modern and easy to use and felt very secluded and peaceful. The fireflies even came out at night and put on a show. The first night we were there, there had been a storm and so the normal power was out but the host had a backup generator that kicked on and off automatically, ensuring we had a/c and light for our arrival. While it was a bit loud outside, we were grateful for the back up power. I also absolutely loved the decor and taste of the art. Overall, it was a pleasant and lovely escape and I would absolutely come back and stay again.

Peaceful and well-equipped escape

It’s a lovely property and Wendy was a very communicative and responsive host. It’s very comfortable and well set-up, and the piece of the property that this unit sits on feels very private. (Also, my dog was very charmed by Wendy’s sweet dog!) I would happily go back again. And fyi, we were there on a day when the temps went above 90 — the air conditioning was very effective and appreciated!

Great getaway!

Cabin was very clean, comfortable, and unique. Hot tub was a huge plus! Very private. Wendy (hostess) messaged us the day before to ensure we didn't need anything, and a few weeks before sent us a detailed email with directions and restaurant recommendations.

Great weekend getaway!

My wife and I recently visited for the weekend. It’s located 15 minutes from the Phoenicia Diner and Emerson Spa. 20 minute from the heart of Woodstock. It was clean and quiet. We were able to enjoy breakfast in the screened-in porch which overlooked the hot tub and woods behind it. The owner, Wendy, answered all my questions promptly and was helpful when she could be. Overall my wife and I had a great weekend and would recommend staying here.

Wonderful retreat in the woods

This property and location are perfect for a weekend getaway in the mountains. Easy drives to Woodstock and Rhinebeck, trailheads are just down the road. Beds are comfortable, everything is brand new, clean and all conveniences are supplied. The hot tub is icing at the end of the day. Will book this one again. Thank you!!
