La lujosa Villa Pearl ofrece un amplio santuario en un entorno privado lejos de la bulliciosa ciudad de San Pedro.

Nuestra villa de concepto abierto está perfectamente configurada para familias numerosas, bodas o parejas que viajan juntas. El interior de la villa está lleno de tesoros: armarios antiguos centroamericanos, azulejos mexicanos, telas guatemaltecas y obras de arte locales, para que todos disfruten. Hay 5 habitaciones con 5. 5 baños privados que le permiten dormir cómodamente 11 invitados.

Deja que el sol y las suaves brisas te despierten suavemente desde cualquiera de las espaciosas habitaciones. Disfrute de la mañana con un café en la amplia terraza con vistas a las aguas color esmeralda del Caribe. Pase un día tranquilo en la piscina a solo unos pasos o tome un baño privado en una de las dos cubiertas superiores. Pasee a uno de los mejores restaurantes a pocos minutos a pie, en bicicleta o en carrito de golf. El chef puede preparar la cena en la cocina totalmente equipada y disfrutarla a la luz de las velas en el comedor separado o casualmente alrededor de la isla de la cocina de gran tamaño. 

Nuestro conserje estaría encantado de reservar un masaje en la habitación u organizarlo con nuestros socios para llevarlo a una increíble aventura beliceña. Alternativamente, súbase a una de nuestras bicicletas de cortesía y quizás tome una clase de yoga en el muelle. Los kayaks también están disponibles para que pueda explorar el segundo arrecife de coral más grande del mundo a solo minutos de nuestra costa. Si una visita a la ciudad de San Pedro es de interés, puede acceder a la ciudad en un carrito de golf, un ferry a la isla o un taxi acuático privado.

The staff were all exceptional and responded quickly. The pool was wonderful. You have to go off site for meals but there were plenty of options close by. Would definitely go back.

Reviewer Comments: The property was great, but the roads to get there are insane. It is far from downtown, and unfortunately, with the golf carts, it takes way longer than was told or expected. The roads are in terrible condition near the property and on the whole ride to town or secret beach, which made us not want to go too far.

Surpassed Expectations

Finest of all the villa is amazing with tons of space, wonderful views, well equipped kitchen and beautiful art. It’s on a small resort of 12 villas which was great because we felt more secure in a country we knew nothing about. The staff were readily available and anything we needed was quickly taken care of. The pool was better than the photos. There were restaurants close by and all the food we tried was delicious. I wish people were more forthcoming in explaining that the beach there is really not swimmable. It’s shallow and full of seaweed. But we used rheboool a lot and drove our golf cart to Secret Beach which was tons of fun. The excursions we booked with Action Divers were phenomenal, a definite must do. We brought our own fishing rods and caught lots of fish off the dock. The golf cart rides are very bumpy, but that was part of the charm. There is plenty to do to fill a week, and this is the best location on Ambergris Caye to do it. Thanks Jennifer and the aka Perla crew.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took 19 family and friends members to Ambergris Caye and stayed in the LaPerla resort. We had three absolutely beautiful and perfect villas. Everyone enjoyed every minute of the visit there. I have never seen people bend over backwards to help or fulfill any need we had. All of the luggage was delivered to our rooms up 22 steps and when we departed, all our luggage was picked up and taken where it needed to be. Water taxis and taxis were made available any time we needed to go somewhere or do anything. Great places to eat All along the coast. And the highlight of our trip was the catered dinner the last night we were there. The celebration was for my husband‘s 80th birthday, my 79th, and our 54th wedding anniversary. It could not have been in a more beautiful place . We highly recommend the LaPerla resort and every person there that made our trip absolutely fabulous!

Quiet, Beautiful Views, Perfect Family Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: La Perla Del Caribe was a beautiful, well-maintained property. We had 7 adults and two kids are Villa Pearl fit us perfectly. Note that two of the bedrooms are on the first floor and it is dark and a little musty down there. The main floor and deck were perfect. We spent most of our time hanging out in the living room, on the deck or at the pool. The view is exactly as shown, pool and beautiful ocean. You can either hop in the ocean from the retaining wall (it keeps the sargassum off the beach) or you can walk to the end of the wall and there is a little bit of beach access. My young kids loved walking around in the water because it's really shallow and the reef prevents big waves. Michaela took care of all of our needs from the minute we booked our trip and saw us off when we left. It was so nice to be able to have someone there to answer questions. Roberto, the activities director, was also so nice and I highly recommend going through him for snorkeling. His guide, Joe (I think), was highly knowledgeable and we saw turtles, squid, an eel and stingrays just a few minute boat ride away. There are also lots of good restaurants within a 5-20 minute golf cart ride, no need to go all the way into town every night (30 minute bumpy ride). Highly recommend La Perla del Caribe!

Perfect stay at Villa Pearl

Michaela and her crew were outstanding and helped us plan our stay, including reserving a private chef, renting golf carts, and handling dozens of small requests along the way. Michaela’s bright and cheerful, yet professional, demeanor made her daily visits enjoyable. She was knowledgeable about the area and recommended several delicious and beautiful restaurants. My mother was unable to participate in several excursions, and Michaela checked in on her and made sure she was comfortable in the Villa, even reserving a massage on the balcony for mom. La Perla’s location can’t be beat and is a short golfcart ride away from numerous bars and restaurants. We look forward to our next visit to La Perla.

Villa Pearl was not totally bad

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This villas at this property are all privately owned and the unwelcoming letter we got to read upon arrival rings a tone as though we didn't even pay to stay there but are merely guests in their home. The same letter has a lecturing quality about taking care of the place but they'd be well advised to follow their own advice. Broken chairs, torn rugs, cracked and useless plastic salad bowls, limited glassware, stained linens, broken windows really didn't present the type of luxury that this place pretends to be. There was a landscape crew on site fairly regularly it seemed, yet somehow there's still a surprising amount of garbage, and at our property there were used paint trays and rollers sticking out from under the deck. Sadly the trash all around the island is immense. Recognizing that the neighbouring vacant lot is not their responsibility it still would look a lot better on this place if they cleaned up the edges at least. The retaining wall instead of beach was a major disappointmentAt first it seemed as though they were going to b e full service in terms of assisting us with reservations, activities etc., but that turned out to be far from the case. They ultimately send you to a third party organizer who makes you pay for everything up front. We had to do some juggling and it added a little stress trying to make sure we got what we paid for.The culture created by the board apparently of people relying on tips also does not add to the experience.Overall though the people on the island were very nice and we did have many great experiences. The house is big and has the potential to be very beautiful. Some TLC would make it a lot better.

Words can't describe the remarkable serene exotic vibe. The staff works beautifully together to be helpful and keep a very clean, safe and tranquil place thanks to the concierge, Michaela. She made many of our arrangements for great snorkeling (thank you Chocolate ,) golf cart, flights and more. A special thanks to Tropic Air who stayed open late to be sure we got to the island when our plane had a delay. It was my 80th birthday and we had chef Maria and her mom Deena make and serve a delicious Belizean meal to celebrate. This evening and the whole week will be a memory all of us will cherish. Thank you.

She also booked our airline travel from Belize City to San Pedro.Roberto was a joy. He is attentive and planned all of our water excursions. Michaela & Roberto are easily accessible, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The house and grounds were kept very clean. The entire staff- mainetenance, groundskeepers, security, etc- were friendly and helpful. The pier is awesome-- sit, relax, read your book & listen to the waves on the reef. It is also very convenient to leave for excursions straight from the pier. I recommend taking the boat to & from the airport. Portofino dinner was excellent.Our group of 11 had a wonderful experience. Thank you for hosting us!! We hope to return to Villa Pearl.

Enjoyed!

We enjoyed the property. The house was clean and as listed on the website. There is not any grocery stores close by. As we had requests for items not in the house most were delivered. Michaela was always attentive to our needs. The only negative was the refrigerator was very small. Big house needs a big frig. A lot of our stuff we brought from town for the week spoiled because there wasn’t enough space to accommodate food for 10.

Very nice property

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Pearl. The house is plenty spacious for the 6 adults and 2 kids that were in our group. The property is nicely maintained and clean. The prpoperty manager orgianized our connecting flights from BZE and a boat to pick us up at the San Pedro airport which transported us directly to the La Perla dock. Way better than a cab or golf cart with luggage after a long day of travel. Our only significant complaint during the stay was with the golf carts that were organized by the property manager for us. They organized it with a third party, Avis Golf Carts. One the first full day of our trip the first golf cart broke down leaving us stranded on the side of the road waiting for the company to come pick us up. Later in the week we were told by the property manager they had checked the gas tanks for us and we were good to go. Unfortunately that very night we were able to travel a few hundred yards and then it ran out of gas, again stranded on the side of the road waiting for the rental company. The first breakdown was on the rental agency, but the second was on the La Perla property manager who assured us we had plenty of gas even though you could clearly see we were very low. The property manager messaged me that night and said she was going to discuss some sort of a discount due to repeated issues, but it’s been 10 days now and I haven’t heard from either group. You may be better off organizing your own golf cart and agree on a price up front.

However, considering the expense,it is badly in need of repair. The furniture and cabinetry are old and need updating, the stairs going to the 2nd level are very rickety, and there are broken blinds and broken doors. When we mentioned this to the onsite management people, they kept saying that things "needed a part." One of the main issues concerned the air conditioners. One was broken upon our arrival, and another one broke while we were there. And to add insult to injury,2 days before our departure, 4 brand new ACs in the box showed up in our laundry room! They were obviously not for our stay. The management company did reimburse us for one night, and stated that the property was going to close for repairs. If this is true, I wish they would have done this before our stay.

Better than expected!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were somewhat unsure of how this resort/private home scenario worked. It is a combination of large and small privately owned homes that share common grounds and a pool. The landscaping and pool were very well cared for. There was always people cleaning, watering etc. The staff at the main office were SO HELPFUL and answered all the questions that we had. Even the outside staff workers were extremely polite and helpful. The view from our deck was AMAZING. We were a little worried that being so far from town would limit our activities. However, there were several great restaurants with in walking distance and the water taxi was always available to take us in to town. The house had great common living space. We had a catered meal one evening and enjoyed the large dining room table. We had lots of early morning and late evening drinks on the deck. The only suggestions we have are a few more chairs on the deck and a microwave for the kitchen. Everything was very clean, plenty of towels and the washer and dryer came in handy.

Amazing La Perla!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 2 families stay here over New Year's Eve and we had an absolute blast. Everything is amazing, the pool, the beach, the house itself, the reef, and Belize itself. People are absolutely amazing.
