The Surf Shack is the perfect home for families and groups, providing a fun, safe, and relaxing place for your Cocoa Beach stay. Located walking distance to the river, beach, and ocean this spacious 6 bedroom, 3 bath home has a private heated pool with a large covered patio featuring outdoor dining and living room areas, Weber gas grill and fire pit. The kitchen was renovated December '24 with all new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash and a new island with seating. The Surf Shack is in a great location! There's so much to do nearby: the beach is only 6 blocks away, take the kayaks to the river launch across the street and enjoy watching dolphins and manatees. You'll enjoy the bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and all the beach gear you need for a fantastic and memorable vacation experience.

Cameras are located at the front door exterior and overlooking the driveway for security. The property is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home. This sensor is 100% privacy compliant since it only measures noise level and doesn't record any sounds. A rental agreement and security deposit hold are required.

We do an annual golf trip and this house fit the bill perfectly. It had enough beds, nicely spaced out and have plenty of room to spread out. We have been to many rentals and as far as giving you everything, they really do make the stay great with attention to detail. Everything was very clean and they provided everything, that included garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo , soap etc. They also have a ton of other things like coolers, bikes, fishing rods, games, etc. Highly recommend !!!

We loved the house, every room was clean and bright. I fell in love with the entire house it really felt like being at home. The pool and lounge area was great. We spent a lot of time there during our stay. Quiet neighborhood and friendly people also. I will be planning another trip with my family, I will be looking for this home as my destination. Our host was awesome she was available when needed and kept in contact with me. More than 5 stars for this property.

Everything was great, we’ve stayed at this property twice now because the first time exceeded our expectations, the house has everything we needed and then some. The host contacted us to make sure we had everything we needed and even made us aware of surrounding activities going on. I would highly recommend this property to anyone in the area.

This is a beautiful property with plenty of space and amenities. The house is extremely well equipped. My family and friends I traveled with agreed that this was our favorite vacation rental we've visited. We would love to come back some day.

Perfect location for a family vacation

The Surf Shack was comfortable and charming. Our two families had everything we needed to enjoy our time. The location was a quick drive to all the best spots in Cocoa Beach. We were able to easily see two rocket launches (one from the driveway and one from the Cocoa Beach pier), enjoy ice cream at the Fat Donkey and drinks at Coconuts. We also ventured into Orlando for trips to Disney World and Universal with no issues, and the location is about half an hour from Kennedy Space Center which was absolutely amazing. Our group also did a night kayaking trip to see the bioluminescence which I highly recommend.The house has enough bikes for a large group, a great outdoor area and pool, and comfortable beds. The only downside to our entire trip was dealing with the Florida mosquitoes. Bring lots of bug spray!

Great space for large group!

I booked this 6-bedroom, 3-bath home for a group retreat. The layout was great for a group our size, and the kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped. We enjoyed our time overall, but I was surprised by the amount of wear and tear throughout the property—especially considering it was priced similarly to higher-end homes we’ve rented in the past.Both outdoor patios were very dirty upon arrival, and we had to clean them ourselves before guests arrived. The back patio furniture was in rough shape, with several broken pieces and torn cushions. The pool was also dirty our entire stay and appeared smaller than the photos suggested. Back rooms had an odd smell similar to water damage odor. This home has good potential for group stays, but it’s definitely in need of some updates and better upkeep. We made the most of it and still had a memorable retreat, but I’d recommend future guests manage expectations on condition versus cost.

Family Gathering

House was just what we needed to have four generations together to celebrate. Easy access to beach, stores and restaurants. Lots to do at house, pool and bikes were a big hit. Large kitchen so we could cook and still be together. Would definitely recommend.

Plenty of room for large family.

House was perfect size for our family of 11 and had everything we would need. Only issue was the pool heater not working so we could not utilize the pool. The property manager was doing her best to fix the problem, but it was disappointing since it was cooler the end of November and really needed the heater. Otherwise, house was great.

Great Property

We stayed here before heading out on a Disney Cruise. The house was great and the amenities were just what we needed. We were also able to walk over to beach and watch a rocket launch! The owners were easy to communicate with and handled everything perfectly. Great stay!

Great Large Family Gathering Spot, Beautiful New Kitchen, Spacious, Great Location and Well Maintained

Our family of 12 had an amazing stay at the "Surf Shack". 6 large bedrooms and plenty of room for our family! The BRAND NEW kitchen is absolutely beautiful, the house is very well stocked and location is perfect to the beach. Teresa was a great host and very accommodating. This is a perfect spot for families looking to spend time time together in a beautiful, spacious vacation home. 5 Stars, would highly recommend! We will be back!

Perfect for our Crew

We are an offshore powerboat race team and we were there for the Cocoa Beach race. We needed a place for the whole team to stay and be comfortable. They loved the home. Worked perfectly for everyone. Will reserve for next year for sure.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

We had an *epic* Easter break at the Cocoa Beach Surf Shack. This is by far the most well appointed home we’ve ever rented. They thought of everything - several bikes, beach chairs, kayaks, games and more. There was something for everyone in the family to enjoy! This home is VERY well stocked and we easily sat down for Easter dinner for 12. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen. Every utensil and appliance was available! The location is fantastic - a quiet mid-century style Neighborhood with a beachy vibe. It’s a short 10 min walk to the beach and plenty of parking if driving. Publix is close by and it’s 10 min drive to the iconic Ron Jon Surf Shop. Best part… we were able to view *2* rocket launches from the beach! That was incredible! Thanks to the host Teresa for making the process so easy and enjoyable. I Highly recommend the Surf Shack!

Guys Golf Outing

We had 6 guys stay in this prefect house for us. Six nice bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen, living room and outdoor areas worked out pefectly for our gathering.

Great house, great location

Teresa is an excellent host! The house has been recently updated and is completely stocked with everything a family might need during a stay. The pool is a great hangout after a day at the beach and it’s easy to drop the kayaks in the river to go search for dolphins. Plenty of space. Our family recommends!!!

Girls Get away

We had the best time at Cocoa Beach Surf Shack. The girls and I felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. The house was stocked with all our needs including kayaks and bikes. The pool was a wonderful temperature and we loved it. All in all a very good choice for us…

The Cocoa Beach Surf Shack is over 2,500 sq ft with an open floor plan. There's room for everyone to enjoy their own space and great family gathering areas. The huge porch is set up for outdoor entertainment, lounging, and dining next to the pool. The location is excellent! Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood where you get a live like a local experience. You can walk or bike to the beach and to the historic downtown Cocoa Beach area.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Surf Shack is in a great location in the historic Cocoa Beach downtown area where you can walk to the river, beach, ocean, restaurants, bars, and shops. The house is right by (only 2 houses away) a an access to launch kayaks for the Banana River. Our guests have often seen dolphin and manatees swimming by when they take the kayaks out on the river. We are at the north end of the Thousand Island area which is a refuge for these amazing marine mammals.
