Steps From the Sandy Beach

Whether you are dreaming of relaxing on the sandy beach, seeing the beautiful ocean views from the front porch, or enjoying the fun activities Exuma has to offer; this is your place. The SandBox is located on the magnificent Elizabeth Harbor with the beach a few short steps from the front door. Once your toes hit the sand, a short walk down the beach will take you to one of the best beaches on Exuma - Jolly Hall.

The SandBox has a large bedroom with a king bed and full private bathroom. The living room has a comfortable queen Murphy bed (which can be pulled down for a snooze or lifted for extra space), as well as a couch. A second full bathroom is just off the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for making meals.

Amenities include the use of the resort pool, work out facility, paddleboards, kayaks, an on-site restaurant, shuttle to George Town, free parking, and more. Wifi is also included.
Water taxi’s and boat rentals are available in George Town so you can enjoy the beauty of Exuma. Well worth the time to get out and explore.

The Villa is located midway between the airport and George Town; with a short 10 minute drive from the airport to the resort.

Our advertised daily rate covers the fee for full use of hotel amenities for the duration of your stay.

Waterfront bungalow with outstanding views of the harbor and Stocking Island. Perfect Sunrises!

Amazing stay!

The villa was comfortable for a family of 5. The extras in the room, like spare sunscreen, ziplocs, and all the little things were an added bonus you don’t always get! Definitely recommend this villa!!

Excellent villa

Located with ocean view from the front porch a couple of villas from the beach perfect for the windy days. Everything was as described and Jeff and Victoria were very helpful and gave us a lot of information before arriving that made our stay much better. Hope to return some day in the near future.

Great family stay!

So attentive to our needs! We didn’t need much, but when we did, they responded quickly. The unit was clean and was exactly as described. Strongly recommend for those with 4-5 ppl. We’d definitely stay at the property again. Many thanks!

Excellent Rental

We just got back from 6 days at this Villa and we had a great time. The Villa is situated on the grounds of a casual hotel that sits on a lovely beach and is a 10 minute walk to a stunning beach. The on site restaurant is totally adequate for a simple meal after a long day in the sun. The Villa itself is simple, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are very attentive and great to work with. I would definitely recommend this villa.

Exuma is a beautiful must see island!

The Sandbox was perfect from cleanliness, location, stocked kitchen and beach items needed, wonderful recommendations for island tours and sites to see and we loved the Splash restaurant on site. Very convenient and good! We loved OMAR, he was always smiling and helpful. Views are amazing! I cant say enough!

Great location, thoroughly equipped

We were warmly greeted and settled in by the wonderful resort staff. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and the beach toys plentiful, which is so nice when traveling. The location was great for walking 5-10 minutes to a perfect swimming beach and the proximity to Georgetown. We would normally prefer to have larger overall space but it was as advertized. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. We stayed for 3 weeks and we were happy there. During the booking process owners Victoria and Jeff were very responsive and accomodating. We would stay at this location again.

Excellent Stay!!

We had the best time. It was 3 of us my husband, me and our 21 year old son. Jeff and Victoria have set up the place very comfortably. Also they gave us great suggestions from renting a car, restaurants and beaches that were a must see. Very responsive to questions. Excellent to rent from. The resort itself had so much to do and was centrally located on the Island. What amazed us the most was the staff. Genuinely the nicest and most helpful people you will ever meet. Hoping to go back soon!

Great central location with nice amenities.

Had a fabulous time at The Sandbox at Hideaways. Jeff and Victoria were wonderful hosts. Communication was on point. The villa we stayed in, had all that we needed for a nice getaway. Plenty of amenities from the hideaway resort, from the free use of the kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats. Our villa was very well stocked with all the necessary cooking essentials. The to go cooler came in very handy for the days at JollyHall Beach. JollyHall Beach was a short 10 min easy walk on the beach, well worth the walk. We’ll be back!
