CARRIAGE HOUSE BUNGALOW/LAKE VIEW/ VILLAGE OF WATKINS

Come relax and enjoy our CHARMING Bungalow Carriage House. The property sits on the top of a hill on five acres with a great lake view There are lots of trees on our property so you feel like you are in the county but three blocks down the hill is the Village of Watkins Glen. The Watkins Glen State Park is a 10 minute walk away and the Race Tract is a 10 minute ride away. There is a great private outside sitting area with views of the lake, firepit & BBQ. Its great to sit in your comfy Adirondack chairs while viewing the lake enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon drink by the fire pit. If you are not enjoying one of our many local restaurants the bungalow boasts a full kitchen with all you need to make a lovely meal. FYI
WELCOME BASKET IS PROVIDED IN YOUR BUNGALOW

The cottage is so warm and welcoming! It is easy to access and there were some treats in the refrigerator when I got there - nice to ease into the morning with a muffin and juice! Theresa and Ed are wonderful hosts! The location is perfect for anything you could want to do in the area. I will definitely return to this quiet retreat get away! Thank you Theresa and Ed!!

Comfortable house and gorgeous view

We enjoyed everything about the Carriage house! Spacious living area, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, great location. Theresa gave us some great tips for exploring the area, including the Ithaca Farmer’s market, Senaca Falls and a wonderful local pub, The Oar House. Great food, views and vibe!

The 'Carriage House' was perfect! Theresa is a great host and her place is fantastic. Well appointed, spacious, comfortable bed, excellent views of the lake, and a 2-minute car ride to downtown Watkins Glen. The village itself is great with excellent restaurants and shops. We spent two weeks at the cottage and I was able to relax and finish writing my book. Cheers

Wonderful!

The Carriage House is wonderful. Modern, clean, and room to relax. The hostess is terrific and the coffee and other treats were greatly appreciated. Perfect place for exploring the Finger Lakes area. Don't miss the Ithica Farmers Market when you're in the area!

Great place

Loved the space. Ideal for a couple. Location offered some isolation for peace and quiet but also conveniently close to town. Communication from property manager was good. Property access, check-in, and check-out were easy. We would go back.

Beautiful!

We LOVED our stay at the Carriage House. We enjoyed the fire pit, beautiful views of the lake, nearby wineries and state park- The space was comfortable and clean. Theresa left us wine, breakfast, coffee, and cheese and crackers. This was a fantastic weekend get away for us - we loved it!

Property was just as described, clean, comfortable, and great location. Easy to get into town quickly, but secluded and quiet. Check in was easy and the treats left by the host were so thoughtful! Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It’s a beautiful little cottage on a beautiful property. The views of the lake from the cottage and fire pit were outstanding. The location was great - close to town and Watkins Glen State Park. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Little Fall Getaway

The Carriage House was very nice, clean and well appointed. It served as a perfect home base for us as we explored the area. The owner provided a lot of little extra touches that made our stay that much more enjoyable! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first visit to the Finger Lakes!

Didn’t want to leave!

This was the perfect spot to stay in Watkins Glen. It was near everything but felt very private. Theresa and her husband were wonderful hosts. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was great!

Sweet Spot in Watkins Glen

We had a lovely stay! The carriage house is fresh and clean and has beautiful, rustic accents where the original wood beams peek out along the ceiling and walls. This location was quiet and has a pretty view of the lake. We enjoyed having a place to stay close to so many local attractions. We were comfortable and pleased with its cleanliness. We would absolutely book again!
