Downtown Lake Ann has an amazing restaurant, brewery with live music, ice cream shop, and park for the kids. Enjoy the best of both worlds, the house is located halfway between Crystal Mountain for all your winter sports fun, and Traverse City to enjoy your evenings out on the town. The house has an open concept Kitchen, Dining, Living room area perfect for spending time together. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom located upstairs and 1 bedroom with 1 bathroom downstairs. Come and enjoy downtown Lake Ann, Traverse City, Wine tours, Crystal Mountain for skiing, Sleeping Bear Dunes and other National Parks for hiking, kayaking, and more!

Home-away-from-home

I felt fortunate to find this gem in Lake Ann, MI. It was a perfect location for the reason of our stay-a wedding in nearby Grawn, exploring Traverse City and beaches! We had no problem locating the property and check-in was easy and secure.Warm and welcoming, this wooded property is a quick 3-4 minute drive to the village of Lake Ann. This sweet town is a definite must on the ‘to check out’ list!Our host, Sarah, was quick to respond to any inquiries and it’s obvious the extra mile she goes to make you feel at home.The kitchen is well-equipped with all the basic kitchen-ware items and new appliances, along with some necessities such as spices and wraps. Bright and clean bathrooms also hold necessities, making it feel even more like home. Bedrooms are roomy enough for couples with plenty of storage for belongings and super soft linens.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we should need to come back to the area again, we would definitely make a return trip back to our ‘home away-from-home’. Our Stay!

Our overall stay was great! Weren’t able to access the property when we arrived (issue with keypad), however host quickly responded to resolve. The only other complaint I have is the king bed is extremely creaky even with the tiniest movement. Looking under the bed it appeared to be due to the bed frame supports being broken. Otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay!

The house was clean and comfortable just like the pictures on the site. Sarah the host was very accommodating she also had little extras everywhere ( fans, little treats, makeup wipes and so on) it was a very nice stay!!!!

Old friend get away!

The house is located in a great place. Lake Ann is a cute town. Kitchen is very well stocked. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We had a wonderful get together.

Wedding weekend

Stayed at this cozy house with my kids and their spouses for a family wedding in traverse city. The house was a perfect location and amenities were great. We were even able to check in a few hours early in order to get ready for the rehearsal, which was so appreciated.

Great House for family

We enjoyed our stay and did not give it 5 stars overall because the table had only 4 chairs. Our family is 6. My daughter said "I think they actually stay here because it has the things we need." We enjoyed the quiet outdoor space to sit with morning coffee.

Perfect House for Family Getaway

We brought our teenage sons up north for a weekend getaway before school starts & this was the perfect location & home. Close enough to TC, but also far enough away to get that homey feel. The boys loved being able to have a fire in the evenings! The house was very clean & decorated better than any hotel you could stay in. I’d definitely book here again!

Perfect stay!

We were a group of four adults and found this rental AMAZING! The attention to detail for hospitality was top notch. Sarah's communication was also top notch. She thought of everything someone would need for a stay. We were impressed that even the k-cups were plentiful- enough for our entire stay (some rentals just give you two or three). Little details like that really take the level of comfort up to next level! The house was neat and clean. Sarah even had a nice note to welcome us- we were so impressed! Thank you Sarah for your hospitality- wish we could pick up the house and take it with us all over northern Michigan!

Lake Michigan Family Vacation

We had a great stay here. It was 20-30 minutes from everything we had planned to do. The house was furnished with everything we needed, and we haven't always experienced this with other VRBOs. The owner had great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house in a cute town

We loved staying here. Everything was very clean and welcoming. We loved that they had some games to play. It was in a great location Lake Anne is a small town but we had a blast and we were onky 20 minutes outside Traverse City. I would definitely stay here again!!

Girls weekend

This property and the host were absolutely amazing! The house was so cute and cozy, and felt like home. It was 20ish minutes from traverse city so the perfect location. Any time we had a question, sarah was so quick to answer and act. We are so thankful and we will definitely be back. We had the best weekend!

Great house with lots of amenities

We stayed for a week with four adults and two kids. The 7 year old loved the foosball table and card games. We have a 15 month old and the property had a high chair, pack n play, and lots of baby/toddler toys. Each bedroom had extra blankets. We appreciated the coffee and tea provided, snacks, and gift card for ice cream! It was the best equipped rental we have experienced. Everything we did had about a 20 minute drive, but we didn’t mind. We went to Traverse City several days, visited a few beaches, went to Glen Arbor, and visited Sleeping Bear Dunes. There was plenty to keep us busy.

Exceptional

This home was beautifully remodeled inside. Beds were comfy and place had everything we needed then some. Host was wonderful with communication. Would recommended not only for friends but family as well. Close to Traverse City and lots of beaches and shopping. Thank you for a great girls trip! We will be back.

Great Stay

The property was the perfect launching pad for our TC weekend. The outside lawn and property are nice but could use some improvement. The inside totally made up for it though. It was clean, had great amenities, and was cozy. The owner was prompt and great in her communications and even left us a welcome gift. I’d stay here again.

Great Experience in Lake Ann!

My group and I had such a great time at Sarah's property for our girls trip/birthday weekend! The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean and inviting and we all loved the decor. The location was great, only 15 minutes from Traverse City. Sarah was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and even left me a birthday card and gift which was so thoughtful! My family and I would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Up-North Retreat

Sarah's property was everything we hoped for... and more! Plenty of space for our whole family to spend time together in a beautiful setting. We appreciated the squeaky clean house and convenient location. There was so much to enjoy; comfortable rooms, wonderful amenities (coffee, toiletries, cleaning supplies!) a great yard area, and ample parking for multiple vehicles/camper vans. Sarah was a phenomenal host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! We will be back. :)
