Peaceful

We stayed for 2 weeks with 8 adults and 2 infants. Plenty of space. Very clean. Three of the bedrooms are very spacious. A bathroom for every bedroom was amazing. There is no bathroom on the main floor, so the steps up or down were a challenge for an elderly visitor, especially up to the third floor. The place was tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to walk to the golf course to join a family golfing outing. We used the pool once and it was nice. The reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen was an unexpected plus for clean drinking water. We loved using the space to get to know our new grandchildren!

Good times at a good place

We had four adults and four children. Plenty of bedroom space, laundry amenities were good. Eating area could seat everyone. We enjoyed the deck as well. Location is an easy drive to Leland, Glen arbor, sleeping Bear dunes. Plenty of space in the parking lotw for camper, trailer, etc.

Beautiful Location!

This house is great for multiple couples and/or families. There are a few issues that I’ve seen in other reviews: - the house was ok clean. The dishes were put back in the cabinet not really clean so we had to wash them before using them. - water pressure in lower restrooms are an issue. - hot water is gone pretty quickly - house and appliances are outdated and need updates. The lower part of the house looks to have been recently renovated and that was nice. - there are a lot of stairs. It wasn’t an issue for our party but I didn’t see them mentioned. - the AC units in the upstairs rooms are quite noisy! Pros: - great location with lots of room - quick response to issues - lots of parking - pool was nice Overall, this is a good house for a lot of people, but there are a few things that need some attention. We are happy with the accommodations though.

Destination wedding

A number of our family members came to Traverse City to celebrate the wedding of a niece. This location was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably, and was a much nicer venue than a hotel. Would recommend it to anyone!

Wedding weekend

We had a great weekend and thought it was a great location. Everyone slept comfortable. We did have my dad with us who has a hard time with stairs but managed them. It was really nice that every bedroom had a bathroom!

Family weekend

Townhouse was comfortable for 3 families with several small children. The circular stairs were a bit of a challenge though. Note to owner - more lighting in bedrooms would be helpful.

Nice location, BUT home needs MANY repairs & a better cleaning service.

The dishwasher in the condo does not work. The hot water is very spotty, sometimes we had it, but most of the time we didn’t. The sink in the downstairs bathroom off the king bedroom leaks, *extremely* bad and the tub in the same bathroom was very slow to drain. There are no outlets in any bathroom. The sliding door in the living room does not lock. The blinds were also broken on living room sliding door. None of the TVs worked properly. The condo over all was dirty. There was hair every bathroom (sink/tub), crumbs on the dinning room table, cheetos in the cracks of the recliner and goldfish on the floor side of couch. There was a number provided to text the property management if we had questions/issues, we sent a text upon arrival and did not get a reply until the following day. I sent messages to the property owner letting them know of these issues and two weeks later I still have not received a reply. Overall I would not recommend this rental until these issues are fixed.

Also had to go buy dish towels and dish cloths because these weren’t provided. Otherwise it was just what we needed.

Property outside was well maintained. Inside could use some updating. Listing as a 10 person probably should be listed as 8/9. Needing to bring air mattress is not ideal. There were no kitchen towels. Rooms were spacious and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Overall 7/10

Pretty decent!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked this for son and wife as their reservation at Little Traverse Inn was canceled due to a staff member exposed to Covid. This was a last minute attempt to find an alternative. It was definitely overkill for two people, but it fit the bill.The air conditioner unit was really dusty and dirty, so they didn’t use the first night, but wiped it down themselves. There were a lot of wasps inside, which I reported to Visit Up North. Son seemed to think there might be a nest in the wall.Other than those two issues, it was fine and seemed pretty clean.

Perfect stay with friends!

The property was awesome, right on a golf course. The view from the back yard is a beautiful mountain. SO peaceful :D Very close to our wine tour and things to do - about 15 minutes from the first stop. Service outside of the condo wasn't great so make sure you get your maps going before leaving the house :D House has some older bathrooms and kitchen but everything was clean and worked great!

Great place for families

We had a great experience at this property. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and as portrayed on the listing. It is a great place for two separate families as there are two bedrooms on the top floor (master suite and separate twin beds in the second room) and a similar layout on the floor below the main level. This ensures privacy for two families. The only small drawback was that the dishes were not washed properly prior to be placed back in the cabinets. We had to rewash dishes before use. Made sure to place clean dishes back in the cabinets for the next guests.

Spacious yet needs updating

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was a great location. The pool was nice for kids. Perfect for multiple families. Everyone had a lot of space. However it was pretty dated and some things needed some updating. The dishwasher didn’t work as all of the dishes were found dirty upon arrival so we had to hand wash everything. We used it and it didn’t clean them at all. Some things like the plastic shower curtain was stained, no shower head on the shower, tub downstairs didn’t drain well. Downstairs carpet was being replaced so there were tack strips on the floor. Dangerous for the kids. They stepped on them multiple times. The place needed a good overall cleaning.

Beds are very soft and comfortable. Kitchen is a little small. Appliances are in good condition. Grounds are well kept. Trash was a bit of a walk but that is better than smelling trash all the time if it was closer. AC units in all rooms worked well on hot evenings. Management was very attentive to our needs and made the renting experience smooth. The upstairs bathrooms drained a little slow. Counters are a little short for taller people.

You get what you pay for

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in this unit upwards of six times with another family. While the size is perfect for us, the unit seems to have a new problem each time we visit. The latest issues have been the lack of dish towels, lack of basic kitchen utensils (can opener), a light in the master bath that has not worked on our last couple of visits, a grill that doesn’t stay lit. The unit is often not the cleanest it could be, especially surprising on our most recent Memorial Day 2021 visit given Covid protocols. We love it for its location, but have decided to try out another unit on our next visit. Hoping that with a minor increase in cost we will find major increases in our satisfaction as far as it meeting our basic needs (cleanliness, lights, hot water, dish towels, ability to grill).

Very clean & great beds but....

The condo was easy entry, very clean, great beds, well stocked spacious, lots of bathrooms and reasonable price. The problems with the condo were: the sulfur smelling water (we couldn't cook or shower with the water) and the main thing we should have been told about this so we could have brought our own water to cook & shower with - we reported the light in the dining room was not working and nothing happened so we moved lamps & moved the table - the sink in the bathroom in the large bedroom downstairs drains very slowly - beds had items (humidifier, fans...) on them. You may want to put another box to put in what were any problems on this review. I have to say overall it was a very nice place to stay. Thank you.
