Villa 4 Rosas is located in the quiet area of Montes de Alvor, just outside the picturesque fishing town of Alvor. A convenient location close to all amenities, this fantastic 5-bedroom accommodation, with free Wi-Fi and Cable, a private swimming pool, spacious orchard and cactus garden. The property is totally fenced off by a wall and iron railings. Free Parking. Excellent choice for a relaxing family holiday in the sun.
In a residential area of privately owned villas, between the fishing village of Alvor (2Km) and the city of Portimão.
Perfect for golf enthusiasts, near two major golf courses: Penina and Alto Golf only 3.6 Km . Sightseeing: walk along the coastal cliffs in Portimao - a must! Monchique mountain a haven for walkers/bird watcher. Lovely fishing town of Ferragudo (to the east). Aerodrome de Portimão for skydiving only 750M away and the International Carting Track 15 min. drive. Downtown Portimão is home to Aqua Shopping center, unlimited restaurants and all amenities.
The closest beach is Alvor, then Prainha, Meia Praia and, of course, the famous Praia da Rocha. Typically, the south coast beaches, because of the calmer waves and gentle sloping shoreline, are very nice for swimming, beach combing, and sunbathing. The west coast is exciting, wild and excellent for surfing, body boarding, and the general enjoyment of the sea and dramatic cliffs and landscape.
For those who enjoy walking or jogging the wonderful 3.5 Km boardwalk, starting at Praia dos 3 Irmaos parking area till Foz Da Ribeira De Odiaxere .
The nearest airport is in Faro, a 46 min drive Via A22 or take the train/bus (1 hour). Car rental is available and it is recommended to reserve in advance of arrival, especially during the high season. The airport in Lisbon is about a 3 hour bus or train ride away.
The extensive coastline and beach area offer plenty of privacy and sunbathing space for all, without any fear of towel overlapping. There is also plenty of space for beach games such as Frisbee and the very popular bat and ball.
