Close to downtown, easy access to C-Street for surfing, walking distance to the beach and close to downtown. Walking distance to restaurants and groceries. The backyard is a great place to relax. Close to the Channel Island National Park and the freeway.

This midtown gem was centrally located off Seward and Ocean. Great walkable street, dog friendly area.Ample rooms for families. Mature fruit trees in the backyard with faux grass for doggies.Adirondak chairs and fire pit in the front yard is so charming and a nice beachy touch.Hosts were great with communications. Very easy check in and check out process.

It was a good experience. Very clean and tidy. Loved the easy tv access. Wish it were a little more updated but thats just a preference. I have 4 kids and all of them wanted plugs to charge their electronics, that was the only thing that i would have liked to have more of or usb stations. Oh and one bathroom was a challenge for us as well. I suppose we got spoiled with multi-bathrooms lol. We had a real good time and felt very safe at the home. There is a grocery store near by which was very convenient and of course the beach was a huge plus. Thank you for lending us a place to stay.

Nice quite neighborhood

Property owners were very responsive. The neighborhood was quite. It was a great property to have our two dogs. There was plenty of room for them to run around in the backyard.

Great house in a great location

This home was perfect for my husband, me, and our dogs. It is so bright and cheerful. The rooms were good sized.The home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay.The enclosed back yard was perfect for my dogs to soak up the California sunshine(and that's what they did)! The host was very responsive to our questions and helpful with suggesting local activities.We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Ventura

Comfortable and convenient

I was in town for several weeks to spend time with an ill relative who lives very close by. It was easy to get to see my family and to walk to Von's (since I didn't have a car), and the house was clean and comfortable. Courtney was quick to respond to any questions, and I expect to stay there again in the upcoming months.

6 days after leaving, I got a sever case of Ringworm, Must of been bed linen /Blanket. Mold proble

I'm seeing a doctor today for the Ringworm which started one last Dec. 6th with itchinging. By Sunday the itching was unbearable and I had Red rings (ringworm) in my hair and down to my ankles in random areas. Additionally, the Kitchen was equipped with a random collection eating and cooking ware. Stove and refrigerator were updated and good. Now I am homebound because ringworm is so contagious. Never had an experience like this with VRBO which I have used over the past 6 years.

House was lovely and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and had our 2 dogs with us. Private yard was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Not for garden parties

The house was ok except that the shower head had to be repaired. The back yard and patio were worn and dirty. The canopy was tattered and only about 1/3 of the outside lights worked. Photos on the outside of the listing must be old.

Perfect family beach weekend house!

The house was perfect for our long weekend stay for our family! The house and backyard were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The kitchen had all the things we needed to prepare simple meals. Its close by everything we needed, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores are close by. Best of all the beach is 5 mins away, and the host kindly provided all the beach things we needed, chairs, umbrella, towels and even sand toys!and a

Great house in a great location.

Excellent place to stay for grandparents near daughter and grandkids. Loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard. The only improvement suggested is low water pressure in the shower.

Really sweet little beach bungalow. The backyard was really big and nice to sit in. The neighborhood is really quiet. It’s an older home but the owners made it homey.

A home away from home

During out stay, I learned that this place was home to our host and their family prior to sharing it with visitors; a sweet sentiment. The home offered charm and comfort; qualities I was looking too when taking time to relax from the day-to-day. There was plenty of space for my party of 4 and our cat. Proximity was great too. The listing was near the wedding venue (the reason for our visit) and close enough to shops and cafes. I look forward to returning and exploring the area more.

A very nice stay
