Surrey by the Sea: 1.5 Blocks to Beach & Boardwalk
Escape to the shore with the people you love most to create memories you'll cherish for a lifetime! Open-concept living in a restored historic duplex on a prime, tree lined street in Ventnor's historic district! This is a raised first floor condo. Walk just over a block to: Beach, Boardwalk, Ice Cream, Bike Shop, Wawa, Sub Shop, Ventnor Square Movie Theatre/Restaurant. Walk just over two blocks to: Many restaurants, Smoothie Cafe, Yoga Studio, Park with Playground, Tennis, Pickleball and Basketball Courts. Baby items/toys can be provided upon request - please inquire at time of booking!
Condo is spacious and designed for your group's enjoyment. Living room features a big screen 4K TV with premium channels (cable, Netflix, etc.) and is adjoined to the open-concept dining area and kitchen creating a large open-concept space, perfect for creating memories. Master bedroom has awesome bay windows and a master bathroom which features a beautiful marble tile shower with stone floor and glass enclosure. Master bedroom has a king sized bed. Queen bedroom has access to rear deck with BBQ (gas) grille with a farmhouse table with seating for six and a sectional outdoor sofa. Deck is also accessible from driveway. Master and queen bedroom both have flat screen TV’s with cable/Netflix. Front bedroom has a full bed with a full sized trundle as well as a queen sized air mattress which can be used in the main living area. Hall bathroom has a tub/shower with marble walls and glass enclosure. Kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could need, pots pans and more as well as kids plates, cups and cutlery. We provide toddler toys for our guests who may use them and can also provide a portable high chair and port-a-crib upon request. (Please submit requests at time of booking).
There is a shared foyer in the duplex that is shared by guests in both this condo and the second floor condo. You must walk through the shared foyer to access the front entrance to this condo. Alternatively, there is a back door you can also use to enter this condo, if desired, through the driveway and back porch area. There is a kids play house just off of the back porch. There is also a shed at the end of the driveway where we store beach chairs, an umbrella and beach cart for each condo. You are welcome to also use this space to store your personal beach gear as well as bikes. This is a shared space amongst guests in both units. Property also features portable Coleman Roadtrip Grille (shared between both condos).
Getting Around:
There is a driveway for two vehicles on the property that may be available for your use during your stay for an additional fee. Please contact host for availability and pricing. Street parking is free and, in our experience, has been generally easy to find. Watch out for the street cleaning signs, though! Local public transportation options include the Atlantic City Jitney, NJ Transit Train (into Atlantic City) and Buses (into Ventnor), Uber and Lyft. Atlantic City International Airport is 13 miles away and Philadelphia International Airport is 65 miles away.
Additional Information:
Bed linens, towels, beach tags, beach cart, beach towels and six beach chairs will be provided.
We will ask for your e-mail address prior to arrival to send you our house manual. Code for entry will be provided within 24 hours of your stay.
There is a shed at the end of the driveway that is shared between both condos. We ask that all of our guests lock the shed at all times.
Outdoor shower is on the bay side of the house and is shared by guests in both conods.
You are free to use the shed for bike storage. Bike theft is very common in Ventnor and bikes should always be locked up, even in daylight hours. AAAA Bike Shop in Ventnor recommends using U-Locks to lock up bikes in public. We cannot be held liable for bike theft during your stay.
Quiet hours are observed from 10PM to 8AM for the courtesy of the other guests and neighbors. If you are a group that tends to be noisy (especially after 10PM), this is not the property for you.
Guests must be 25 years or older to rent. When in doubt, we will be requiring proof of identification.
No smoking or recreational drugs on premises. No parties, no events, no additional overnight guests. Please save yourself the hassle and do not book if this is your intention as this type of conduct will not be tolerated!
