Property has two structures. 3/2 in the main house and a 2/1 w/ full kitchen, living room off the back of the house next to pool. The host was easily contacted whenever we had questions about anything. The layout of the house was perfect for our extended family vacation allowing for privacy and opportunities for the young kids to play and move about the entire premises in a safe/fenced environment.

This home was perfect for our annual family girls trip. The host was friendly, very responsive, and informative. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet close to the beach and fun, family friendly activities. There was a bit of a bug problem by the pool and we all left looking like we had some sort of pox from all the bites on our legs and arms, but it was nice having a private pool with two teenage girls in the group…so, overall, worth it. We would definitely book this place again for a future vacation.

Family Vacation

The check in process was a bit complicated as far as the passcode goes but we eventually got it figured out. The first night was alright because we were just happy to get there and relax after a nine hour drive from North Alabama. On the second night, my autistic four year old was in the room running around having fun until he stepped on what looked to be a piece of a broken bottle. That alone pretty much ruined my time there. I notified the host and it was almost like he refused to believe what I had told him. The next day we tried cooking and the oven didn’t work. We had to carry food from the main house to the guest house to prepare meals. The kitchen sink was clogged completely and thank goodness my husband and his brother were able to get it fixed because that would’ve been an even worse disaster. 2/10 don’t recommend this property until the owner takes accountability and actually considers the well-being of his guests.

The house is nice and we had a good time. The host was responsive via text with any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen contains enough dinnerware, silverware, glasses etc for a larger crowd. We could not find a can opener anywhere though. There was enough paper towels and TP to get us started. There was also a lot of beach chairs, toys, etc although we did not use them. All the appliances worked well. We were disappointed that there wasn’t a grill but the listing did say there wasn’t one so we were prepared. There wasn’t much in the way of food storage containers, no plastic wrap or foil but those are easily purchased at the dollar store. The house is close enough to a Walmart to get food delivered which was nice. Two bedrooms and one bathroom are in a separate unit out the patio door (by the pool). It was fine for us since we were all adults but if you are traveling with children be aware. The second unit has a kitchen but absolutely no cooking utensils, pans, etc. I guess you could use what is in the main house. We all ate together in the main house so we didn’t use the kitchen in the second unit. The second unit is cooled by two mini split units (one in each bedroom) the key the entire unit cool as long as we kept the bedroom doors open. The pool was very nice and clean and we enjoyed that it is enclosed since it helps keep the critters and leaves out of the pool. The check in/out was easy and I would stay at the property again.

Great Experience!

This is a great home - lots of room, very clean, and just perfect for our 10 day stay. The pool was a star attraction for our grand kids - absolutely delightful! The home included all the beach toys we could ever need, with close proximity to several fine beaches The few questions we had were quickly answered by the owner. We would certainly use this facility again!

Perfect vacation home for large groups

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Having the option of the guest house for larger groups or two families who want to stay separately is perfect! Two friends in our group stayed in the guest house and they said it was very comfortable, AC worked great and they loved having their own space. The entire home was clean and had everything we needed for a short girls weekend. It was very easy to get an Uber when needed. The neighborhood was quiet and close to lots of restaurants (short drive). We hope this next hurricane doesn’t do too much damage. There was no damage from Helene even though surrounding homes were affected.

Mom’s 90th

Truly enjoyed the house and location. Yes, the wiring of electricity is weird but once you figure it out it is fine. Teen & young adult loved having pool house to themselves. They road the bikes to Sunset beach one evening where there was a guy with a big Macaw bird and he said is a regular there. Many folks from the neighborhood walk up to the beach in the evening and the mood is peaceful. Could hear high-school football game with marching band in the far of distance on Friday night .. that was part of the charm for us. Screened in pool was marvelous for early morning swim in the moonlight. House was clean and reasonably stocked with games and necessities. Host, Matthew was very responsive.

WOW

Wow! Absolutely amazing. Beautiful house. Pool was amazing. Spent so much time playing in the pool that 3 of us (51 year old me included) got water in our ears. That was the only downside to the time spent at this house. And the view all around on the 4th was great. Fireworks everywhere. Back porch with 2 ceiling fans was a big plus, always in the shade. Pool house was a big plus. We put the kids in it and the adults in the main house. Icing on the cake is the gas station (beer) and Jimmy's Neighborhood Grill (amazing pizza) is 1/2 mile away and next door to each other. Definitely would stay here again

Family getaway

Over all the property was nice, it definitely catches your attention when you pull up and walk in. Tile floors all over make it pop as well as easy to keep clean. Well equipped kitchen, big fridge (plus the one in the bonus room as well) and plany of storage space. Well appointed rooms and bathrooms made it very coftable stay. 15 minut walk to the beach was very convenient, and Tarpoon Springs has a lot to offer in terms of good food, shoppig and tours. Pool was heated, nice and clena, plus we had planty of towels and chairs to relax and ejoy it. Few things took getting used to, like light swithces locations, nest changeing setings randomly and gigantic bush on left side of the driveway, that made getting out of the car a challenge (we had two cars). Only thing missing was a gas grill, but we made it work. Over all we had a very plasent stay in this clean and enjoyable properly, and when we go back to that part of Florida, we may just look it up again.

Wonderful place!

We stayed with our family of six and my dad who is a senior. We loved having the two separate spaces so my dad could sleep in and have a break from the noise of the kids. It was clean, comfortable beds, and the kids loved the pool. The kitchen could use a few more essentials like better pots and pans, but overall we had mostly what we needed. It was a quiet neighborhood and a 10 min walk to sunset beach which was small, but nice. Would stay again!

Property was everything we expected it to be. Great layout to the house to accommodate everyone. Beach items were a great bonus! Outdoor screened patio was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Great location. Perfect communication with owner. Would highly recommend this rental!

Great family space

We had sisters, husbands, mom, sister in laws, niece, brother in laws all in one place to celebrate Christmas. Great space for us all, perfect location for seeing Tarpon and close to everything. Fireplace, heated pool, pool house, such a great space!!! Host is super communicative and responsive. Would definitely recommend for multi-family vacays.

Great place for family stay

Stayed with 3 generations for Thanksgiving week 2022. Everything was great. House was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Main House was roomy and extra pool house made spreading out very easy. Heated pool was enjoyable for everyone. Neighborhood is quiet and close to everything we needed. Definitely recommend this house for a great vacation!

Terrific in Tarpon

The property was fantastic. Location is near the beach and Sponge Docks but in a neighborhood so its quiet. Owners responded quickly to questions. We would definitely choose this property again.
