The house was clean and spacious for our family while visiting the island for a wedding. The check-in process was easy and the house was close to restaurants and stores.

4 golfers stay

Needs another full bathroom upstairs instead of sitting room. We had 4 adults using the 4 bedrooms and shower time was problematic.

Visit for Baby shower

House was clean and alot of space to accommodate a large group. Outside yard was overgrown and made it hard in the dark to navigate to the front door. The yard did not look like the picture. Was glad to be able to use the garage to pull in vehicle.

Wedding family gathering

As we were preparing for our first wedding in our family, we were lucky enough to find this wonderful home! The place was perfect for our large family to stay in! We managed to have many meals together, game night & spend quality time together as a family! The house was big enough to have 10 people stay & sleep comfortably. There were enough towels & linens. Could have used a few more cooking supplies such as bowls, cooking pans, but we managed to make it work non the less. The host was always available & easy to communicate with. We truly enjoyed our time there. Thanks for the memories!!

Hightower's Amelia Island Stay

The home was spacious. The communication from the host could be better. All communication about the property and what to expect upon arrival was initiated by me. Some issues were identified during our stay. Savannah, the host was contacted and resolved the issues expeditiously. Suggestions about things that would make it a better stay was submitted to the host. Such as: fire extinguisher, better face cloths, more clothes hangers, replace stained shower curtain liner, hand bars and soap holders in bath and shower, and yard maintenance. Additional things were suggested that I'm not listing in this review. The house is in a great location, and it accommodated my family comfortably. It was ample parking available.

Fun time but house left a little to be desired

We had a great time with family and the communication with the owner was wonderful. She was very quick to respond but there were a few issues. First, the renters before us had an excessive amount of trash. There was nowhere for us to put trash. We had to contact the owner (who already knew) and come up with a solution. Owner had to bring extra bin and get it dumped. Had to buy and replace fan remote batteries in living room. There were ants in the upstairs bathroom coming from the pocket door. There was poison ivy all along the front walk so we could not really use the entrance safely. Kitchen did not have enough utensils to really cook if you wanted. House is a new build and nice. The powder room door is very hard to stay closed. There really wasn’t enough seating in dining and living room to accommodate all of the people the house could sleep. Overall, house is nice but needs a little more attention to detail. Very thankful for the communication with owner. We had a nice time and loved Amelia Island.

Very Disappointed

Our disappointment centers around this home being inadequately equipped and furnished. The upstairs has three bedrooms that are set up for sleeping 12 people and not a single chair to sit on if you wanted to watch tv. Each room has only beds, a tv, and an inexpensive small nightstand. There is no place to set your suitcase down to unpack except the floor or the bed. There is a 4th bedroom up there that is completely empty. There are no wash clothes or hand towels and the tub drained so slow that we couldn't use it. The Main bedroom on the 1st floor is no longer furnished as it shows in the photograph. The only items in that bedroom are, the bed, 2 small flimsy night stands and a TV. Again no chair(s) or sofa as shown. Speaking with the hosts Brittany and Savannah, and their willingness to bring some of their own furniture, is what kept us from contacting VRBO as I feel this home is misrepresented by the listing and the photo's. Beds for 14, place settings for 8? Seating at the dining room table for 4, Seating in the Living room for 6 (really good friends). Outdoor seating for 4. No can opener, pots and pans that were so dirty and rusty (Cuisinart), that we had to clean thoroughly before using. The downstairs bathroom had one sink that also didn't drain and the other had black mold around the drain. The garbage disposal rattles, sounding as if it's going to spit it's contents back at you. I am also disappointed in the previous visitors for not telling you what I am. Theres mor

Beautiful home! It had everything we need!

We were very happy with this home. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Close to everything. Wish the weather was better, didn’t get to go to the beach due to hurricane Nicole, but we made the best of it. Home could use a full length mirror, iron and ironing board, and blow dryer.

We had plenty of room and the entire house was clean and the location was perfect for us.

Property was easy and very reasonable to rent for the weekend.
