Kitchen table leg broken, loose & damaged screws, table was not usable. Dead & live mice. Filthy! Dust on fans, but sure space between vanity & washer had ever been cleaned. Dust onpot rack. So much dust & grime in corners of kitchen drawers.

Good stay! As others mentioned, it could use a little weed control and tlc outside, but also recognize its summer in Michigan and things grow quickly! Definitely doesn’t deter the stay- house is clean, good for a crowd & easy access to a variety of activities!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The layout was great, and the outdoor spaces were a highlight—plenty of spots to sit and relax or have fun (mini golf!). The host has done an amazing job creating areas for everyone to enjoy, and we especially loved the pizza oven! The host was also very responsive and helpful prior to and throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Disappointed

Pictures looked better than real life. Dilapidated outside and a bit on the inside. Burned down restaurant not revealed until we got there. Guests had problem with A/C not working. Owner is a very nice person and very attentive so comments are for the property itself

Generally good but a few quirks

The interior of the property was pretty good. One bedroom door would not close due to interference from the bed. Tv remotes were not provided and an app on a cell phone ws needed. Kitchen was well equipped but could stand to have more dishes. The exterior was not well kept. The lawn had not been mowed in a long time and the patio area, while spaicous, needed a lot ot TLC. We used the pizza oven and hot tub and both were fine. The property manager was among the most responsive I've ever dealt with. Our text questions were answered immediately and helpfully. Very nice area with lakes all around.

Nice stay

Carlos was wonderful. He approved an early check in, we ended up not needing it, but was nice we had the choice. Pizza oven was a huge hit. Lots of fun making pizzas. Hot tub was enjoyable also.

The accommodations were as described. The house does need some cosmetic fixes. One thing we found odd was the microwave door opens toward the refrigerator and it doesn't open all the way because of the frig.

The house was warm and comfy. Carlos was very responsive to the minor issues we had, but unfortunately one of the toilets stopped working. He had it fixed within 24 hours. Lovely hot tub, nice beds and nice linens.

Lazy girls weekend

Great communication

The house was great! The backdoor was a little difficult to slide for my kids and the outside could use some TLC but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The communication was always prompt and helpful. The inside was very clean and as advertised. Recommend this place to stay especially if you have a larger party.

The inside of the house was satisfactory. The outside is in need of maintenance quite a bit. The outside areas where in need of paint, landscaping maintenance, and fencing is in a bad state. It truly could be a great opportunity for more income if it was in a better condition. Grass was not even mowed. We did like that the yard has different areas set up and the hot tub was great. We used the pizza oven the 1st night and that was a new experience for us.

Needs work

The house is old and unkept. Some updates but needs more to make better. First impression is terrible, the yard is completely overgrown and debri from oak trees everywhere. Interior is only surface clean, deep clean needed. Dirty floors, fan blades, cobwebs, dirty pans, old stained towels, broken blind, dirty kitchen sink sponge, etc. Hot tub was ok. Fork N Pint was good.

Renter beware

I don't even know where to begin. Apparently the previous renters didn't pay the cleaning fee and the host doesn't bother checking on the house between renters. The floors were disguting and left our socks black after only being there a couple hours. The oven mitts were literally black and I felt disgusting having to use them. There was more dirty silverware than there was clean in the drawer. The cutting board looked like you may end up in the hospital if you dared to use it. The couches were tiny and incredibly uncomfortable and felt like they were meant for kids or little people. There are mounds of dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom. When we got there, there was a panty liner wrapper in the trash, NOT from us. Gross. The beds were listed as queen, they were most definitely full size beds. The listing says sleeps 10 comfortably. It is far from comfortable in any sense, but definitely would not sleep 10. There were folding metal chairs for the kitchen table, but boxes of brand new chairs in one of the closets, apparently we were not worthy of being able to use the new ones. I'm fairly confident that the bedding was not changed, but I really don't want to even think about that possibility being true. The blinds in the master bedroom didn't work. The outside wasn't well kept. A little yard work goes a long way to make a home welcoming. The very merry christmas welcome mat should have given us fair warning to turn around and not bother, but we had nowhere else to go

Great Stay

This house was perfect for me, my friends and family! No issues with anything!! I know this house will be an awesome place to stay in the summer time. The photos don’t do enough justice and everything was clean!

Disappointed.

Unfortunately pics made this property look pretty nice and we were looking forward to being there until we got there, I wanted to leave. Aside from all of the ANTS that invaded our dogs food bowl as well as food we had on the counter…Furniture in the home was very cheap, living room was not comfortable to sit and play games and we were too scared to sit at the cheap metal table that was literally falling apart with five chairs for our 7 guests on a family vacation. The hot tub was super cloudy and had scummy foam on the top. Tabletop firepit did not work, the pizza oven that is a highlight for this place was filthy and did not have any wood or pizza spatula so we were unable to use that. There was only a 6-8” skillet, no casserole pans, or mixing bowls for our 5 day stay. The home is in need of freshening up,the appliances in kitchen were very dirty as well as every cabinet and drawer. The cigarette butts and bottle caps all over the grounds were a nice touch as well.

I bought this house because it's close to my home and it had so many cool features too it before we even added anything. The huge pizza oven is awesome! Plus there was the perfect spot to hang up hammocks. We also added a 3-4 in layer of sand around the bonfire pit that was already there to give it a beach vibe. All around love this house and I rent it out so I can cover the expenses and use it as a little get away.
