The place was just as advertised! Great view of the ocean and easy to find. The host is very attentive and the suite was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Bowman island Stay

View of the Ocean is spectacular nice getaway place to totally relax. Be aware if you have any physical disabilities that the drive way is very steep to get to the vacation home and parking is only available up the driveway on the road

Clean and new

The suite was in great condition, clean and modern. Access is down a steep driveway and you must walk a little ways down. Could be challenging for those with mobility limitations. Also very dark. There was a full kitchen but no cutlery - literally a single spoon. We thankfully did not cook, but would have been very inconvenient. Otherwise, nice view and would stay again. Enjoyed watching the ferries go by.

Beautiful and Peaceful

My only issue was that the power went out on our last night and there was no emergency lighting - flashlight or matches and candles. We had to leave early.

We enjoyed our stay The view was beautiful regardless of the weather The suite was clean and had everything we needed. Chris was very quick to respond to any questions we had. A great spot for a couple who want a quiet peaceful getaway

Excellent stay. Chris was always available and even went out of the way to make an exception to allow me to check in earlier than the checkin time. Breathtaking views!

A Perfect Solo Retreat

If you are looking for some quiet place to enjoy by yourself or with a partner, look no further! This hidden gem is tugged away from the busy sailing hub but it’s less than 5 mins away if you need to some basic necessities. I felt very safe on my own staying at this property. The view is amazing and the rooms are spacious. I will visit again for sure. Had a lovely memory here watching the sunrise and sunrise while listening to soothing ocean waves.

Gorgeous

Firstly, I just want to start with how much of a beautiful stay this was. Everything was clean and pristine. Waking up in the morning to that view had to be the most breathtaking thing. It's so picturesque and unreal. The neighborhood was quiet and very homey islandy. I went into town the first night to Bowen Island Pub. They were playing live music, the vibes were great and lively, and the food was delicious. Before that I went grocery shopping at The Ruddy Potato which has more specialized healthy food items (for vegans, vegetarians, and health conscious) and then to the Snug Cove General Store that had everything you need from ketchup to sausages and breakfast potatoes.Just a quick tip for those staying here, you do have to cross the ferry and if you're most likely crossing with your car the ferry was 40 USD. That caught me by surprise but luckily I was only staying the weekend and the price includes roundtrip from the mainland to Bowen Island and back. The house is also down somewhat of a steep driveway hill and they suggest not parking close to the house to avoid getting blocked in. So you will have to park on the street. Anyhow, none of what I listed are problems or concerns but just being in the know. What matters is the stay was clean, comfy, quiet, and breathtaking. I would absolutely stay here again for a weekend getaway.

Great place for a Bowen getaway

Ocean view from the window was stunning. Place was spacious and clean. Close enough to the bus stop and a beach if you want to explore Bowen, but also great for a staycation. (there is a smart TV, cards, boardgames, and a good WiFi connection).

The rental at beautiful decor and an amazing setting. Views from the deck were stunning. Bowen Island provided great food options, hiking, and scenery.

Relaxing Getaway

Overall our stay was awesome! My husband and I needed a quiet place to relax and this little place was just the ticket! Breathtaking view through the floor to ceiling windows! That's what sold us on this place. It was a great spot to sit and watch the sunrise, read a good book and soak in the relaxing atmosphere. The place is clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. It is a short 5 min drive to Snug Harbour. We explored the island but were always happy to return. However, there were some things that I would like to address. The address on the app is incorrect and leads you to the neighbour's place. I would have liked 2 face cloths and access to more pillows. I would have also like contacting the owner through the app on my phone. There was a bit of confusion until I was able to access my messages on my laptop. Otherwise, clear communication, European clean and thoughtfully decorated. We are definitely coming again!!!

Pleasant getaway

My partner and I spent a night at this cozy suite. The views were beautiful and serene. There is a creek outside the bedroom window that added an extra touch of relaxation. It was clean and had all the kitchen and bathroom basics. Communication with the owner was good. We wish stayed longer!
