Island Escape for Two, Class and Comfort

Perfect hideaway for two looking for a home away from home on the beautiful island of St. John.
Just a 5 minute drive to Coral Bay restaurants or 10 minutes to the World Class North Shore Beaches. The Turtle and the Seahorse cottage is a bright and airy studio, easy to find off Centerline Road...plus NO stairs, take just a few steps from your car door to your front door!

Your deck offers a view of the Bordeaux Mountains and stunnning Coral Bay. Full-sized appliances and a clean kitchen stocked with essential utensils make your vacation easy and comfortable. Relax in your king size bed, or chill watching a movie on the Smart TV.
Beach chairs, towels, shade tent and umbrella, noodles, and cooler are available to guests. You do not need to rent a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to our cottage, our roads are paved....for other remote parts of the island it maybe neccessary. You can walk or enjoy a morning jog on the friendly neighborhood roads just outside the cottage.

Relaxing environment

This was a perfect spot. Easy to get to, great location, quiet neighborhood & fantastic view! Had everything we needed down to beach chairs & beach towels. Lots of info & recommendations provided by Alison.

Perfect Spot for a couple looking to escape

my husband and I had a fabulous time at this little rental. It was just perfect for us. Located in beautiful coral Bay, very quiet, with a gorgeous view in a nice residential area, just big enough for us to to be cozy and have a fabulous time. Quiet at night, but so easy to get to all the beautiful beaches and coral Bay has a few nice food optionwe are already booked for next year!

Perfect for the two of us

We loved our stay here near Coral Bay. The view was incredible and the space was perfect for the two of us. It was the most convenient that the owners provided Beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and floaties for us to use at the beaches each day. The home was clean and we enjoyed using the tv in the evenings after exploring all day. Highly recommend!

The owners Alison and Juan are amazing and so friendly! They left a book of recommendations, restaurants and other things to do. The atmosphere and surroundings are amazing and mostly secluded! I highly recommend this cottage!

Very clean, comfortable cottage. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Alison was wonderful and very good with communication. The cottage has everything you need for a great vacation. Highly recommended!!

It would be great if toilet will be cleaned in the middle of the stay when linen are changed. It is not convenient and not customer friendly to turn off A/C each day when you leave the property and turn it on upon return as it is getting too hot in the cottage and it takes too long to cool the place to be comfortable at night.

The Perfect Place

Alison sent information about the cottage as soon as we booked. It was nice having all the info up front. The cottage is beautiful in decor and the view looking down over Coral Bay is amazing. Alison stopped by shortly after we arrived to make sure we were all set. The cottage seemed to have everything you could possibly need. Especially appreciated the beach chairs and there were a few refreshments in the fridge. Would definitely stay here again.

Renovated cottage with all that you need

The property was very pleasant, clean and equipped with all that we needed. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Nice view of Coral bay from the deck and in a nice quiet neighborhood without much traffic since it was a dead-end road.

Best experience ever!

We totally messed up our dates when we first reserved our stay. Alison was very helpful, easy to communicate with and corrected the dates. The house was charming and had everything we needed. Also Alison and Juan helped us out with changing a flat tire! Amazing!

A perfect stay

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! Clean, comfortable, easily accessible and in a great neighborhood. The view from the porch was fantastic. We even got to watch a meteor shower laying out on the porch one evening. Dry functional kitchen that allowed us to easily make breakfast every morning before heading out for the day. We certainly recommend it and will return!

Another great stay on the island

Allison and Juan have a great, quiet place in Coral Bay. Great people, great view, etc etc. my wife and I have been coming to St John for many years. This little spot is perfect for a quiet, small rest in between days spent on the beach forgetting the rest of the world. We will be staying here again. Allison, thank you for your hospitality. Already miss it!

Dreamy escape that's perfect all around!

What a lovely, colorful, and perfectly located property for exploring the east end of St. John! We hung out at three amazing beaches during our stay: Maho, Francis Bay, and Hansen Bay. Close to restaurants and grocery store. The property has a wrap around deck with a gorgeous view of Coral Bay. It's nicely appointed with lots of amenities and small conveniences. Love this place!!

This cottage is charming, comfortable and nicely located for the Coral Bay area and going to Maho Bay and Francis Bay beaches. The kitchen is well equipped and is perfect for making breakfasts and lunches. The view from the deck (and the bed) is amazing. The roads to the cottage are fun to drive as long as you're comfortable with keeping left and amazing hairpin turns – You MUST have a rental car! We would most definitely stay there again if visiting St. John.

Perfect Stay!

We had such a great stay! We fell in love with the views! Communication with Allison was fast. The location is perfect, so close to all the spots we wanted to hit - our favorite snorkel spots were Haulover beach (north), Leinster Bay and Salt Pond Bay. Our favorite hike was Rams Head. All these spots were so easy to get to from the cottage!! The cottage was well stocked and it didn't take long at all for the AC to cool the place down! We cooked our all dinners in the kitchen and loved eating out on the deck. Would stay here again.

My husband, Juan, and I live on our sailboat....and pretty much need to be in, by, or moving on the water. We've been living in New Orleans working in the film industry for many years, Juan as a boat captain and Alison as a costume designer. We now live mostly in Coral Bay, hiking, diving, and snorkeling the glorious island of St. John.

We fell in love with the remoteness and tranquility of St. John. We "check out" from the outside world, and remove oursleves from the stress of work and city life.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love the nature we experience here, everything from the hummingbirds feeding and whizzing by, to snorkeling over a sea turtle munching on some sea grass. The Seahorse and The Turtle cottage is a private cottage, independent from the main house, so there is no one above or below.
