Great place

This is 2nd year in a row we have stayed at this property! The home is exactly like pictures with a great view of the lake. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We hope to stay there again next year!

Friendly Lake August Property

This was our first experience with VRBO, the process was very easy, property was very nice in a very friendly and quiet neighborhood, and the property owners were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely try to stay here again if returning.

This is a lovely home on a quiet lake and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting and reading on the dock while tangling a fishing line in the lake. The home is clean and neat and well stocked. Ron communicates quickly and effectively. We'd love to stay again.

Great Home

We enjoyed our 3 week vacation. This property was great and the host kept in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again. The house was well furnished which was a plus for us. Thank you Ron!

Dream Stay

I travel to the Sebring/Lake Placid area a lot for work and this is one of the best rental homes in the region. Clean, new, no "Florida smell" and the best equipped/stocked rental I have ever stayed in. I like to cook on the road but forgot to bring my usual supplies, but the house had everything I needed and more. Beautiful inside and out! I will be back.

Our 2nd time staying here!

This is our second visit to this Lake August cottage. Just as perfect the second time around. Ron is a great host. He is super responsive and communication is a breeze. The house is very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful lake views, quiet/peaceful neighborhood and well stocked. We love the sand cranes that visit the backyard. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation.

Relaxing lakeside cottage

Lovely lakeside cottage. We loved the lake views, screened in porch and the quaint town of Lake Placid. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet and comfortable vacation rental this cottage is perfect. Great communication with the owner. Very easy check in/out. The house is perfectly stocked for your stay. Comfy clean rooms. Just perfect for a peaceful relaxing vacation in the sun. We loved it. Highly recommend.

Awesome month

My husband and I have been coming to Florida for the past 10 years for 4-6 weeks in the winter to get out of the cold weather in PA. This is by far the nicest home we have rented. Everything was new--from the linens, cookware, TV and internet--to the furniture and appliances, top of the line!! The neighborhood is quiet but grocery stores and restaurants are not far away and the people we met were all so very nice and friendly. Communication with the host was excellent and we would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we can return next year. Thank you Ron for sharing your amazing lake house. My husband and I have been coming to Florida for the past 10 years to get out of the PA cold weather. Ron's house on Lake August is by far the nicest home we have rented. It was spotless and everything in the house was like new--from the linens to the cookware and furniture, TV and internet--and communication with the host was excellent and timely. The neighborhood is quiet and people were very friendly. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby and the Saturday farmers market is a must to visit. I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we can return next year. Thank you Ron for sharing your amazing lake house.
