Welcome to the Happy Harbor at Russell's Point Indian Lake! This adorably finished Lake House cottage is ready for your next getaway.

Wake up to a cup of coffee at the cottage or head a few blocks to Gathered Grounds, our nearby artisan coffee shop.

Don't forget to walk the bridge at Sandy Beach and stop by The Donut Shop! Plan your day on the water thanks to Spend-A-Day Marina with boat rentals nearby or head out to Fox Island for the playground and beach. If you have your own boat, you're welcome to park on site and drop in at Lakeview Harbor up the road or we're also 1 block from the Indian Lake Yacht Club. Lots of local dining options and a yoga studio all within a few blocks.

Going out not your thing? This home also has everything you'd need to stay in and cozy up, either on the front patio with grill & fire pit or inside where the furnishings are comfy and lake vibes are strong.

High speed internet w/ smart TV and kids a play area with Nintendo to keep everyone entertained.

This was such a gem. Only our second Vrbo but I would come here again. Very quiet, everything we needed and more. Everything was self-explanatory and the coffee was a nice touch. Didn’t have enough time to cook but I would’ve loved to cook on that island. Heat, hot water - very excellent!

This was the cutest place ever, and the host was amazing! It had everything we needed, and we were a party of six and we did have room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, and the pullout couch bed was great too. We did not gt to use the outdoor space as it was winter when we went, but it looks like a great place to hang out with a fire pit, grill, and lounging chairs. It was close to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great home base for our fishing weekend. Lovely property close to everything we needed and a wonderful place to hang when weren’t fishing. We will be back.

Great location, in spite of sketchy looking houses nearby. The front door stuck getting in and out, but that didn't change our impression of how nice this house is on the inside! The bath and a half worked very well and all of the amenities were just what we needed. We will stay there again, if needed.

Location was convenient. Liked the modern kitchen and having 1.5 baths. The bedrooms are a bit tight. The open area is very well laid out and can handle 6 or more people comfortably. The owner communicated very clearly and well. I made a request to leave a bit later on check out day and she let me know within a reasonable time that the request could be accommodated. However, a few areas needed more cleaning attention: the shower bottom walls needed to be scrubbed better there was a pink haze on a portion of it, the floors were very dirty, and the outside table and chairs were dirty and had many cobwebs. So, overall nice property but needed a bit more cleaning attention in the areas mentioned.

We had a delightful stay at Happy Harbor! The house was darling and spotless, kitchen well stocked, bathroom amenities were plentiful, and the beds were so comfortable! The village is very walkable, located near Indian Lake state park with plenty of walking trails and a wonderful dog park. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time the house is very cute. Only issue was it was 90 degrees and the little air conditioners cannot keep up. I actually had to go buy a box fan to help pull the air around. If it wasn’t hot it wouldn’t have been an issue but when you are on a boat all day it is nice to come back to coolness! Only other issue was change the shower liner it was a bit on the dirty side. I would recommend this location our overall stay was nice.

The inside of the cottage was cute and looked just like the pictures in the listing. It was conveniently located for all of our activities. The main bath could use some refreshing including the shower liner and the bleach stained towels. The host responded to a message about a concern in a reasonable amount of time.

Happy Harbor was perfect for our family's mini break. The cottage is so adorable, comfortable, and has everything you need for a home away from home. The location can't be beat! We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!!!

Great Little Cottage

We loved our stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was supet close to the lake and everything else we wanted or needed. We would stay here again

Indian Lake Cottage

This cottage was everything it was advertised to be. It my needs perfectly. Close to the lake, my friends of which I came to visit, and right off the main road.I will be trying to rent it again next year, as I've been coming to the lake for the past 30 years

Comfy cottage

The Cottage was very comfy and bright. Within walking distance to various food places, lake and Dollar General. The Bed was very comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. The check in was very easy and we had no complications with directions. Easy drive to go see the other islands and to Bellefontaine shops. Neighbors was very friendly and not much traffic on street. Our senior pet was able to go in and out with no problem. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning again.

Great Rental

This location is great. We stayed for a long weekend. Place was wonderful for our kids and was clean and very comfortable. Owner gave us some great suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely be staying here again next time we plan a trip to Indian lake.

Lake Time

Inside good lake house.Kitchen is very nice. Tv and available apps is great.Sitting area could use a chair or recliner. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were fine but shower needs shut off repair it drips.Did not use kids room with video game and other games but looked like a lot to keep kids entertained.Outside needs some updating front patio needs some updating also. Just my opinion. It was very convenient for us because only a block away from Point Harbor.Would stay again.

Birthday Dog Vacation

I came for my birthday and brought my two dogs - the cottage is absolutely beautiful and spacious. The bedrooms were super cute and the beds were comfy ! The decor is fantastic and very cute. I loved playing the Nintendo and having a fire right out the door was perfect! I made so many s'mores The area was fantastic and sooooo close to the donut shop ! I walked both my dogs to the water and we went to fox Island as suggested! Such a beautiful quiet spot ! The whole area is very dog friendly and the local food is great !! I definitely plan on coming back - I cannot say enough great things about my stay !
