Charming Retreat, Convenient to Downtown, Campus & Stadium


Escape to this charming retreat in the heart of Athens, your home away from home while in the Classic City. Three bedrooms, each with their own bath, with one on the main level, designed to unwind and truly enjoy. Walkable to the Classic Center, Sanford Stadium and the UGA campus. All are within a mile.

Beautifully designed, the open living area with large TV is the perfect gathering place to watch the game, prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, unwind, or play one of the many games provided with your family and friends. The front porch is a refreshing space that extends the living area to the outdoors.

The main level has a lovely bedroom and full bath, upstairs is the primary suite with a large bath, king bed, dedicated workspace, and a daybed with a trundle, providing two twin beds. Also upstairs is the third bedroom with a full bathroom. The dedicated workspace provides an "office in a basket" with a desk mat, mouse, keyboard, ring light and computer stand complete with fast wifi.

Perfect for move-in - a true sanctuary!

Christi was super helpful and responsive. We were visiting Athens for college move-in and it was a perfect spot for our family of four. Quiet, tidy, well appointed and a stone’s throw from campus. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location

This house is in the perfect location, close to campus with several trails walking distance from the house. The kitchen was better stocked than we even anticipated, leading us to cook at home more than we anticipated. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect Place for a College Friends Reunion

This was the best VRBO stay. Beautiful spaces & great for a family. Also unexpectedly stocked with coffee, creamer and sweetener. That was the best! Host replied in minutes to a question. Thanks - we will definitely be back!

Excellent Stay

We were in town for a wedding and this property was very close to downtown and all the great restaurants and bars. The place was extremely clean and came with so many necessary items including laundry detergent, shampoos, soaps, and even coffee! Also, the beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises, but would highly recommend you choose it for yourself!

UGA orientation and volleyball camp

We loved our stay. I’m a UGA alumni living in Florida, so I’m excited to find this gem to come back too! The house is beautiful and Leo perfectly clean. The proximity to downtown and campus made it very easy each day for us to head to campus and downtown. We look forward to coming back soon!

Just Perfect

We were here for one of the Regional Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses held at the Classic Center. The property met our needs with ample room and privacy as well as being close to our venue and to excellent restaurants/activity. We’ll come again!

Beautiful home close to downtown Athens

We had a wonderful stay at Classic City cottage. Christi was a fabulous host and very responsive. The snack basket was a nice touch to welcome us. Love it! The house was beautifully decorated and very well stocked. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Location is very close to restaurants and bars downtown. Best house with best host! Highly recommend!

Wonderful house in the heart of Athens

This house is wonderful! The living space is spacious, open, comfortable, and inviting. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with a full set of dishes, etc. and a pantry with the right spices, tea, etc. Everything was super clean and easy to find. The host communicated with us quickly and efficiently and provided what we needed right away. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great weekend in Athens!

We had an amazing weekend visiting our son at UGA Law. This property is in a perfect location to downtown, the stadium and local spots. We had no issues getting an Uber/Lyft in this location and also enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings & evenings. Christi takes great care of her property and it is stocked with everything needed. We will definitely book again soon! GO DAWGS!
