Amazing stay in Athens

This cottage is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Athens. It is so clean, so well decorated - exactly as pictured. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Just finished a great stay in Athens. This is a beautiful vrbo in the heart of 5 points. On a quiet street with lovely homes. This quaint cottage was very well appointed and decorated beautifully. The owners were very attentive and left great recommendations of places to go for dinner and where to buy provisions. I wouid recommend this to anyone needing a vrbo in Athens.

The Five Points Cottage was a true gem. Absolutely stunning property. Perfect location for our group to be able to enjoy everything we love about Athens! The screened in back porch was our favorite spot of the weekend, but the property had everything we could have wished for… comfortable beds, a chef’s kitchen, plenty of space to spread out, and access to the best of Five Points. Host was a great communicator and made the process so easy! Can’t wait to return!

Weekend in Athens

Our family had a great weekend in Athens. The house was walking distance to all Five Points restaurants. The screened in patio was a perfect spot for enjoying the gorgeous Athens weather!

Excellence in Athens

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay while celebrating our 2025 graduate. The home is unbelievable. We especially loved the outdoor living space. Plenty of room for all of us to enjoy each other‘s company or get away for a moment. This home is worth every penny.

Great visit to Athens. Perfect 5 Points spot

Impressive home with ample space for the whole family. The location can’t be beat and is within walking distance to 5 Points. The back porch is the crown jewel of this home and offers so much room for eating, lounging, watching TV, etc.

Wonderful Experience!

We had a great weekend staying at this beautiful home! Christine was such a good communicator and the house is immaculate. Our favorite spot was the screened back porch which is perfect for football watching and relaxing. Lovely bedding, plenty of space, and great location!

Fantastic house to rent

The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. Our favorite place to hang out was in the screened in porch which was very spacious and had both heat and fans depending on what the weather is doing. Everything was very comfortable, the bar/coffe/tea station was an awesome plus. Host is very friendly and helpful with a lot of local recommendations! A group of us stayed for a UGA game, the house is about a 1.5 mile walk to the stadium but we were easily able to get an Uber to the stadium within 10 minutes. Will definitely stay here again!

Five Points Cottage offers guests a unique experience while visiting Athens.

You can walk to tailgates, Five Points, Stanford Stadium and return home to enjoy a glass of wine on your private screened porch. Once you are ready to enjoy the action again, take a short walk to Five Points and enjoy a drink at Bar Bruno, wood fired pizza at ZiZi and Simones, tapas at The Pine, people watching at Marker Seven or fine dining at The Expat.

In the morning, take a walk or a jog down Milledge Avenue. If you are ambitious jog down Lumpkin and across "the bridge" to enjoy a peaceful view of the stadium. If you're in the mood for nostalgia hit the Tate Center Bookstore. Continue up the hill towards downtown and stop by the famous victory bell. If you'd like some quiet time detour to The Founders Garden.

By the time you make it to Downtown Athens you will be in need of refreshment. Look for Last Resort Grill, The Globe or the Rooftop at the Georgia Theatre. If java is your thing, try Walkers or 1000 Faces. If you want to do some people watching grab a spot on the square at College Avenue or work your way back down Lumpkin and get a much sought after seat at Cali-N-Tito's.

If your time in Athens allows, try a visit to the UGA Botanical garden, where you will find riverfront walking trails, gorgeous gardens, a chapel tucked into the woods and plenty of space for quiet reflection. The Oconee River Greenway and Sandy Creek Nature Center also offer plenty of room for long walks and time away from the crowds.
