Meet Your Hosts, Jeff & Judy
Hi, we’re Jeff and Judy Williams, and we’re so glad you found our little piece of Athens!
We fell in love with Athens when our daughter graduated from UGA, and after living in Johns Creek for many years, we decided to make Athens our home in 2023. We haven’t looked back since! We love the charm, energy, food, music, and wonderful people that make Athens such a special place.
Our 10-acre property gives you a little taste of country living while still being close to everything Athens has to offer. We renovated the original home on the property into our short-term rental and built a smaller home nearby, where we now live. That means we’re close by if you need anything, but we also want you to have plenty of privacy and space to enjoy your stay.
Jeff is retired, and Judy works for the Oconee County School District. We have four grown children, so we understand how important it is to feel comfortable and cared for when you’re away from home.
One of our favorite parts of hosting is the little things. We love chocolate, so you’ll usually find a little chocolate treat waiting for you on your pillow when you arrive. And because we believe some of the best memories happen around a fire, we provide everything you need for s’mores—including Hershey bars, of course! We enjoy finding those small touches that make guests smile and make their stay feel a little more special.
Whether you’re visiting Athens for a UGA game, a special event, a family visit, or simply a getaway, we want you to feel like our guests, not just renters. We’re happy to share our favorite local restaurants, things to do, and hidden gems, and we’re always here if you need us.

A secluded and private oasis that is just a few minutes to Downtown Athens. Lots to do right on the property - cornhole, badminton, or take a long walk around the grounds and get your morning walk in. Have your coffee out on the deck and enjoy the morning air. You may even see a deer or two. In the evening sit around the fire pit or the fire tables and gaze at the stars in sky. Our outdoor space is made for entertaining.

If you prefer to be indoors, there is plenty of room in the 3000 sq. ft. house. Three of the four bedrooms are on one side of the house, so those who like to go to bed early will not be disturbed. The living room and great room have plenty of seating, TVs and gas fireplaces allowing you to spread out or the great room is big enough if everyone wants to be together. There are games and puzzles as well.

Downtown Athens is minutes away for great food and shopping. Downtown Watkinsville and Wire Park are close by as well. Wire Park not only has restaurants and shopping, but there is an amphitheater that has live music or you can watch the game on their big screen.
