Perfecto para vacaciones, retiros y reuniones familiares, Sleepy Hollow Cabin es una casa de vacaciones apartada frente al río, rodeada de majestuosas vistas a las montañas y los sonidos del río que fluye. A solo 6,4 km de la zona de esquí Monarch, Sleepy Hollow es una excelente escapada para esquiadores y practicantes de snowboard. En verano, los excursionistas, ciclistas de montaña, balseros de aguas bravas, aventureros o aquellos que buscan la relajación encontrarán que esta es una excelente opción de hospedaje en el Bosque Nacional San Isabel.

Esta casa de vacaciones de estilo de montaña mide 2368 pies cuadrados. Dentro te dan la bienvenida en una gran sala con techos altos acentuados con escaleras de registro y los carriles, y una estufa de gas Waterford. Este plan de piso abierto tiene una cocina, comedor y sala de estar completamente amueblado, además de un baño con ducha. Windows por todos lados trae el exterior. Dos puertas francesas en la gran sala se abren a la gran terraza que domina el río.

En la planta baja hay un dormitorio principal con cama king size, un segundo dormitorio con cama queen size y una habitación con literas abiertas con 2 literas. Cada habitación tiene una puerta que conduce a la cubierta por el río. Un baño completo con ducha / bañera se encuentra abajo. En la planta superior se encuentra un acogedor altillo con techo alto y dos camas queen.

The cabin is absolutely lovely/clean and perfectly located to hike the Colorado or Continental Divide trails. The hosts were very caring and provided tips on where to hike. We would book this cabin any day again.

Cabin on the Creek

Our family of 10 comfortably fit in this sweet cabin by the creek. The young adults loved looking for rocks and playing in the creek so bring water shoes! The sound of water was so soothing as we sat on the deck! What a lovely spot in the woods to decompress

Amazing Location and Cozy Accommodations

This is the second time our entire family has rented this house. We absolutely love it! It’s very close to Monarch Mountain ski area. We skied, snowmobiled, and tubed. The house has plenty of space for our 6 adults and 4 children. The beds are comfy, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you’ll need to cook your own meals. One thing that’s important to my family is having a place where we can all sit together for dinner and to play games. The front room has three comfortable couches and rocking chairs so that we can all spend time together. Beautiful place! We will definitely be back!

Amazing Ski House

This house was perfect for our ski trip! Super close to Monarch Mountain and not a far drive from other mountains. The house itself was cozy and you felt so secluded. Easy drive to town for bars and restaurants. I would love to come back and stay in the summer time for warm weather adventures!

Clean with great amenities

Friendly hosts and everything as advertised. The river is just a few steps from the back porch with plenty of trees and a foot bridge to cross over. Close to Salida for fast trips to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful, clean, homey and in great shape

We had a lovely stay! Things to know that might benefit future renters: bring your own shampoo and conditioner, and in the winter at least, be prepared to pay the neighbor $10/car/night for parking. After getting our 4WD vehicle stuck twice in the spot in front of the house, we were willing to pay just about anything to avoid that again.

Perfect Ski Stay!

We stayed here with our kids and their spouses for a 4 night ski trip. It’s the perfect location to get to Monarch in just minutes. The cabin itself is very charming and there was plenty of space to comfortably host all 10 of us. The views are exquisite too! Lastly, the host went above and beyond in making sure all of our needs were met. Truly, perfect stay! We can’t wait to return!

Amazing family stay!

We were so grateful for finding this cabin. All our kids want to come back to this same place every year! There were plenty of options for the kids to spread out and have space for fun & sleep. The kitchen was so well stocked (and so organized with the labels!) and easy to prepare meals away from home. Most thankful for the responses from the host from checking on our arrival to the prompt response and fixing of a minor plumbing issue. Meeting Dave & talking with him was one of our highlights. Thank you for sharing this cabin with us!

Great getaway

This VRBO was so a great serene getaway. It was even better than we expected. It was so nice to have three couches that we could all hang out on together and the space in its entirety was quite wonderful!! Thanks so much for making this cabin available!!!

Amazing Mountain Getaway

This spacious yet cozy cabin is perfect for a family gathering. Such great use of the space with comfy coaches and living space; large kitchen table and well stocked kitchen to prepare our own meals. Plenty of comfortable beds. Great communication and support from owners. Minutes from Monarch Mt skiing. The access is the only challenge so I appreciate other reviewers emphasizing that 4 wheel or All wheel drive imperative to access this property. Nearly a foot of snow fell the 3 days we were there and someone helped moved the snow and we shoveled but it was challenging getting in and out of the driveway. But that's the downside to a mountain getaway location--which was 100% worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Great Family Vacation Property

The property was great. Kitchen was well outfitted with everything we needed. You definitely need four wheel drive to get in/out during the winter. Chains are a good idea too in case you get heavy snowfall - which made the skiing great! All in all, this is great place to stay. Super convenient to Monarch and plenty of room for 8 people!

Lovely!

We stayed here with our family friends and now-young-adult children to ski at Monarch and had a wonderful time in this warm and beautiful and cozy cabin with a well-stocked (and meticulously labeled) kitchen. The nicely-sized kitchen table was well-used for meals and nightly games and puzzles. The owners even called us while we were there to make sure everything was going all right.

Lovely place that really feels "in the mountains"

We really enjoyed our stay at this "cabin" in the woods. My goal was to have a place that felt in the woods and aspens for those that could not get out hiking, and that it did, with the creek running just outside our windows.
