When it comes to a prime beachfront location and incredible amenities, this mid-level condo on Lake Michigan is your best bet! Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms mean this retreat is perfect for families, groups, and couples alike. The wonderful deck just off the living room allows you to admire beautiful views of the sparkling lake from the comfort of home. This space is also ideal for alfresco meals since it's furnished with an outdoor dining table for four. The living room is complete with a wood-burning fireplace, a sleeper sofa, and a flatscreen TV with cable. The fully equipped kitchen has all the major appliances needed to prepare mouth-watering homemade meals! Put on the chef's apron and show off your cooking skills. The main bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, while the second guest bedroom has access to the hallway bathroom.

Quiet location at the Homestead, a bit dated but a good supply of dishes, pots and pans and a nice kitchen. Mirrors on most of the walls in the living area create a constant view.

Amazing views of Lake Michigan

Condo is nice and cozy, the views are great and we enjoyed the sunsets. A bit out of date, but still a nice place. Everything worked and we will be back again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Some of our past Homestead stays have been a bit cramped, but not at this South Beach location. Excellent views, so great to take a short walk to the beach.

Another Great Stay

The Homestead is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan and all of its nearby dune trails. This condo is clean, comfortable, and has everything we need for a wonderful stay. The layout and the view keep us coming back again and again!

Beautiful views. Clean, kitchen cabinets are over crowded with unnecessary items and knives are very dull. Needs a decent cutting board, a cheese slicer, a French press but I appreciated the second coffee pot after I cleaned it out. Nice master bath. The sheets on king bed a bit small. Lack of towels was noticeable. Vacasa is not very helpful as I asked for my sheets to be washed in gentle detergent and they were unable to comply. Bring your own detergent. Washer and dryer are nice.Internet was spotty. Resetting modem was somewhat helpful. The condo number was not on the main signs but get out of your car and look.

Stairs and management

Beautiful view of the lake! You have to climb 3 flights of stairs with your luggage. Management did nothing after we reported that the TV wasn’t working. Great location!

Ship watch 15 Glen Arbor

The condo was very comfortable and clean. The view of Lake Michigan was super as were the sunsets! The only draw backs were the dryer that didn't work and the 5 days it took to fix it. And the lack of handrails on the stairs. Very dangerous for older people especially one using a cane. Don't believe this is up to code.

Great location

The condo is in a great location. Amenities are just as described. Being right on Lake Michigan is a plus! Beware if booking in hot summer months (July/Aug) that the lack of air-conditioning plays a big factor. Granted our week was unseasonably warm in the Low 80s...But despite having every ceiling fan, floor fan going the condo routinely stayed around 78-84 deg inside. Although we knew this condo did not have air-conditioning we had never been to Glen Arbor in the summertime and were unaware of how necessary this can be (especially if you have young kids/elderly in your party).

WARNING!! This unit does not have air conditioning and does not clearly say so.

We were disappointed when moving in how hot the unit was and discovering it did not have air conditioning. This was not disclosed clearly in the website. Also the master bedroom tv did not have audio until a Vacasa tech came over and corrected (should have been checked before our arrival). Because the weather was ideal our stay was enjoyable and all other aspects of the unit was just fine.

Beautiful View but the Unit needs maintenance

The Unit was clean when we arrived but the carpet is stained and needs replacing. There were broken fixtures in the bathroom and the lock system to get in was horrible. No light and basically bike lock type of numbers impossible to see and unlock, takes two hands and nowhere does it say there is an actual key is inside the lock. Although the view from the condo is fantastic and the complex is very quiet and secluded. I would not stay in this unit again.

Beautiful Stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. We have been to the Homestead twice previously - once in 2008 and then again in 2016. We have been impressed with how the condos have been continuously well-maintained over the years. This condo was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! This was our first trip with fall colors, and the beautiful colors along with an absence of crowds may make this our favorite time to go in the future. We would definitely stay in this home again!

A winter weekend stay in Glenn Arbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this lovely beachfront condo on the shores on Lake Michigan. It was clean, well stocked and the location was perfect for beach walks (even in the winter) and wooded hikes. Thank you!

Great for relaxing or exploring

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing setting and beautiful view at this condo. It is very spacious, light, and open. The beds were especially comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and the view of the sunsets from the balcony was magnificent. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels, soaps, and supplies. Art's, Cherry Republic, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and walks on the beach are favorite things to do in Glen Arbor. We enjoyed kayaking on the Crystal River and bike riding to Empire. The shops and restaurants in Fishtown in Leland were also a highlight. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating during the reservation and check-in process. They let us know the rental was ready and we were able to check in a little early. I would definitely rent this again and will work with the property manager again. Looking forward to doing it again!
