There was alot of spiders throughout the house and all over the ceiling. There was no cushioning on the outdoor chairs. The barbeque has very dirty. As we were cooking dinner the power went out and we had to use the barbeque and it affected our dinner. We called the owner,and the property manager came and reset the breaker in the garage.He threatened to call the police after we confronted him about all the problems after our stay.

a good halfway point for edmonton and calgary family to meet up for an early xmas dinner, xtra beds in case of bad weather and lots of activities nearby, would recommend

Great space

The house is amazing. We had family get together and lots of space to visit. The only drawback is it is not as listed. There are only 3 bedrooms.

It’s a good house, it only has 3 bedrooms though and 1 of those only has a 3/4 wall. 3 of the “bedrooms” are hide-a-beds….my biggest issue was not with the house or location (which was excellent), but with communication with the host…I tried to get some info on a few things before we arrived, but never did get an answer back… I had to call VRBO to try and get them to get the code to the house, because I had not received it by 2:00 despite the check-in time of 4:00….they could not get ahold of him either… I received a computer generated email with the code at 4:15…. The air conditioning had not been turned on despite it being over 30 c outside and in trying to cool it down and use any other electrical appliances, the main breaker kept tripping….again, an email to the host was never answered. The minimal outdoors of the property was not well kept. The front grass was not mowed and the backyard gravel was full of dandelions, thistles and we had to pick up a lot of broken glass in the gravel around the fire pit. There needs to be more outdoor furniture. If you are going to advertise a house for a large group of people, then you should have outside seating for a large group of people…. Despite all of the frustration, I would consider renting it again… we made it work and the location was excellent…

we enjoyed our stay in this property, clean and well provided. Many of us are pool players, we enjoyed the pool take a lot.

Nice location

Space was nice and near the beach, but the owner had expressed the walkout area was wheelchair accessible, but other then the entry, the space was not accesible for our use. The space did have some empty bottles under a bed and meat snacks under another, not a real big deal, but the owner just explained that sometimes that happens. Would definitely rent the space again, but not with any wheelchair users.

Family together

Beautiful home but based on the ad was expecting 8 actual bedrooms. There’s only 3 and all other beds were pullout sofa beds except the bunk beds. I did not like that I couldn’t tell the exact location until I booked and even then had to ask for it. It was a drive to the main part of town and parking is nightmare on the weekends in summer. It was great to have a place big enough for the whole family.

Great for entertaining.

The house was nice and big and accommodated our little barbeque get together. The only downside is in the listing it says that there is eight bedrooms. Technically there is only three bedrooms with doors and the rest are in open areas. That is very much a downside to this property. Also in the listing it says that there is a garage. Which there is but you can’t use it. We wanted to park in there to keep things cool but we were told that it’s not part of the rental.

The Lake House

House was pretty clean and nice. Lots of rooms, spaces and mostly they provided some games to do in there like billiards, hockey table, and playstation. I enjoyed staying at the house with my family and my friends. I recommend this to other so that they can experience how great the house is. Thank You!
