The home was amazing. Our host did an exceptional job making it welcoming. Honestly they had it set up and ready to go for us like we would if we had family or friends coming to stay. I’ve never been at a VRBO that had so much thought put into, “how can we be helpful, what can we have so our guests have everything they need, etc.” 10 out 5 stars on hospitality. They went above and beyond.

This was, honestly, the easiest review we have ever written. This house is wonderful and earns every one of 10/10 stars. It is immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable. Every amenity you could possibly want is thought of - popcorn maker, swim spa, ice maker, fishing rods, stand up paddleboard, kayaks (with vests), as well as snorkeling equipment. The dock overlooks a canal that is teaming with life. The host thinks of absolutely EVERYTHING for her guests. Towels, sunscreen, bug spray, detergent, spices - all here. This home wants for nothing in a vacation paradise. Sherry is a thoughtful and wonderful host who goes out of her way to make her home feel like yours. We also took advantage of her recommendation for "Captain Jay" for a fishing excursion with our son - a day which was nothing short of amazing - if you get a chance, book with him!!!!! We will be back, and often. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!!!!

We loved this house! There were so many amenities that came with it and made everything so convenient. Our kids really enjoyed the little pool and the Cabana Club. The owners were extremely helpful and nice. We want to book this house again for next year!

Great home base in the keys

Key colony beach house had amazing amenities to share with the teenagers and elementary school child such as paddleboard, kayaks, fishing poles and especially the game room and the full size hot tub spa. Almost forgot the popcorn maker that everyone enjoyed on multiple occasions!The restaurants in the area were fantastic island fish co and Sparky’s labding. And the proximity to other recreational activities like mermaid marathon tours and the adventure aquarium encounters made planning fun activities a breeze with a family. The hour and change drive from key west airport and a day trip there as well allowed us to enjoy the Hemingway house and Duval street.The other key amenity the cabana club we took full advantage of with the swimming pool and quaint beach.Overall this place was relaxing, super key decor with tons of amenities, super location and was spectacular!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

50th birthday celebration

We enjoyed our stay at this home for the week! Many amenities available. We enjoyed the hot tub, fishing off the canal with bait from the bait freezer, ice machine, popcorn maker, kayaks and the Beach Club. There were also coffee pods for the keurig which was a nice perk. Would recommend.

. Mystical Seas is a gem and our week was so enjoyable. You won’t want or need for anything! This is now our go-to vacation rental in Key Colony Beach.

Clean, great location, owner thought of everything

We stayed for a week in Jan. The property was just as described. We had 5 adults, our 3 kids and my husband and myself. We have stayed at VRBO's before, but NEVER one that has been this equipped, full of supplies and welcoming.Sherry thought of everything, plenty of beach towels, sunscreen, books for all ages, blankets in every room, working rods/reels, bait in the outside freezer for fishing, laundry soap, TP, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, everything you need for a meal in the kitchen and the seasonings...OMG! Pantry even had supplies! Like I said, nowhere have we found a VRBO this well stocked, it was more like a home than a rental. Location was terrific. We ate at Key Colony Inn, service was SLOW but meal was fantastic. We did Landshore fishing, deep sea fishing and many excursions. 2 Grocery stores within 3 miles. The short walk to Sunset Beach is easy and the view is just amazing, go early to get a bench. This property is not pet friendly, however the town and restaurants are. So many dogs!!Sherry was great with communication, both before and after our stay. Only things i would note are..you have to walk through second bedroom to get to Primary. There is a door so wasn't an issue for us, but if it is a house full of "couples"...it might be. Furniture in living room could use a cleaning too. Overall a great stay, would book again in a heartbeat. Sherry is amazing and she shows that through her thoughtfully supplied/decorated home.

Wonderful

This place was awesome! We had an amazing time! Sherry was great! She was so helpful even before we got there with weather concerns. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for everyone. My son enjoyed fishing everyday. She was even so helpful with things to do in the area. Wonderful experience! We felt right at home. Beautiful place so relaxing! Even had all the seasonings for our fish fry. Missing it now that we are home. Thank you Sherry! for everyone

Sunshine Paradise

Without exception all our family thoroughly enjoyed our 7 days at this property in Key Colony! We relaxed, read , sunbathed ,cayaked, paddle boarded, played pickle ball and even cycled to the Cabana club and Sharkey's for drinks and food which are very close by on a few occasions. You can do whatever suits your mood on the day. The owner has thought of everything, we've never stayed in a vacation rental property with so much facilities and things provided for the guests to make use of. Sherry has gone above and beyond and it really makes a difference On top of all this as an added bonus we went deep sea fishing with Jay , Sherry's husband . What a day to remember for my son and myself. Jay promised us fish and boy did he deliver , we ate fish for every meal for two days solid 😀 I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone and we hope to return again the next time we head Stateside. Thanks Sherry and Jay for helping make our vacation truly memorable

Amazing place!

This rental was truly amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful location and house. Sherry had the place equipped with everything you could possibly need. We truly were able to relax and enjoy it. I have lived and worked in The Keys for 12 years managing vacation rental homes for others. Originally from Michigan. I like the winters here better. ;-).

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

5 years ago we were hit by Hurricane Irma~ a Cat 4/5 and The Keys were all tore up. I had never seen such destruction. I lived in a small park right on the open Atlantic and like everyone else in my small park I lost everything to Irma. I have since learned why you live in a cement block house in The Florida Keys rather than a little mobile home. Another hurricane will come, and you have to be as ready as possible. I bought this home after Irma, and found that it had not taken on water or had any wind damage.....not because it was not in the strike zone, just lucky! This house will withstand a storm much better.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I am located in Key Colony Beach, where the canals are the next best thing to the open water. They are clean, clear, deep and lively. And by lively I mean~ sea life. Manatee, mangrove snapper, lobster under the docks. I have seen spotted eagle rays, seahorses, and yes sharks. You can drop a chum bag over any given day and catch fish for dinner.
Behind my house on the drive way side, I back up to the golf course~ pickle ball and tennis courts. I provide the pickle ball equipment. Just a short walk around the corner we have basketball courts, kids playground and bocce ball. I provide the basketball and bocce ball set. You can walk down to the Sunset Park in the evenings and see the most incredible sunsets. We have a 36' seawall that can comfortably dock a boat up to 32'. Always deep water~ never have to worry about the low tides for getting your boat in and out. You will go a short distance through the Shelter Bay, where there is a marina if you need gas. Out to the Vaca Cut~ easy access to either the Gulf of Mexico if you turn right, or the Atlantic Ocean if you turn left. We love to fish, and lobster dive, and that why this location is perfect for us.
