Historic Carriage House

Historic Carriage House with private entrance, king bed, full kitchen, laundry and loft w/ three twin beds. Fast Wifi, work space, fireplace, smart TV and safe devoted parking space. Close to I-15/ SLC airport/ downtown 25/ Skiing 30/ Provo ALL 30 min away or less. 5 min walk to park, 5 min drive to Jordan River Parkway, grocery shopping and dining.
The space
The Historic Carriage House is newly finished and designed for guests. It has its own private entrance, walkway and is completely detached from our primary residence. The Carriage house features include: New King Bed, Flat screen Smart TV, cozy fireplace, vaulted ceilings, FULL kitchen with dishwasher, sink, disposal, gas range and full fridge/freezer and marble counters. The hidden loft with custom painted mountain mural sleeps three people all in their own twin beds. The bathroom, has a glass and marble rain head shower, single marble vanity and full size stackable washer/dryer.
Guest access
The Historic Carriage House is located in a completely separate building, but on the same property as our primary residence. It has its own private walkway, entrance and has two designated parking spots in our secluded driveway. If you have a larger trailer or RV, we have a safe place to park those just across the street in a fenced in area. Just disclose that you need the extra spaces when you book and I can accommodate it during your stay.

Bedroom/Sitting area: The bedroom has a high end King mattress with linens, cozy sitting area, flat screen Smart TV, Large armoire and dresser and electric fireplace that guests can use year round. Enjoy a romantic cozy night in sipping coffee and sitting by the fire.

Kitchen: The kitchen has top of the line appliances large Fridge freezer, gas range, microwave, dishwasher and sink with disposal. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, blender, utensils and the sorts. A Keurig coffee maker, coffee, and a simple oatmeal breakfast is always available for our guests during their stay. We are also known to leave our guests fresh organic eggs from our 14 chickens.

Laundry: There is full size stackable washer and dryer with detergent and iron/ironing board that is available for your convenience. It is located in the bathroom.

Loft: Accessed by a fixed ladder, the loft is a great place to sleep kids, teenagers and adventurous adults. The loft has three twin mattresses, and a small dresser with toys and books. Please be aware Ceilings are 4’ tall in the loft and the ladder is quite steep. The loft is not a good fit to use for those who cannot physically and easily climb a ladder up and down.

Bathroom: The bathroom in the Carriage House though small, packs a punch with all of its features. It has Calcutta marble floor and countertops with a single vanity. A glass and marble euro rainfall shower feels perfect after a long day of skiing.

Internet/TV: We offer free wifi for our guests and you also have access to Smart TV features, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney + etc (sorry no cable). We also furnish a well stocked collection of books, card games and puzzles.

Parking: Guests have two parking spots right next to the Carriage House. These parking spots are devoted just for AirBnB guests and it is a short and flat walk away from the carriage house.

Please note: Though the Carriage House is separated from our personal home, the driveway is shared. There is plenty of room for two cars to park, if you have more cars, RV or trailer just ask as we own a fenced vacant lot across the street and you can park there. You may see us from time to time driving in and out of the garage. Guests rarely bump into us during their stay(:

High chair and portable crib are available upon request.

We have quite a few pets who you might see around the grounds of our home. Winston is our bashful cocker/retriever, 3 white ducks & many chickens. If you have allergies to pets, no need to fear! We do not let our pets inside the Carriage House. Our pets spend the day outside and come into our heated/ac garage to sleep each night. We have been known to leave guests fresh eggs during their stay.
