Quiet Historic Retreat - 15 minutes from Riverwalk

Come stay in this newly renovated historic property. This upstairs unit, of a freestanding historic duplex, was built in 1903, the same year the Wright Brothers made their historic flight.

As a tribute, this unit has been completely redesigned with propeller ceiling fans and state of the art technology. This tranquil, eclectically furnished, upstairs unit, includes niceties such as open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, high speed internet, 75" OLED TV, and SMART home technologies.

You will have the entire upstairs floor (approx. 1100 square feet) to yourselves.
Everything (bathrooms, kitchen, appliances, living room, furnishings) are new as of May 2022.

Watch your favorite shows on the 75" OLED smart TV, or enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee on your private balcony while you plan your stay in beautiful downtown Wilmington.

Well stocked with everything you need for your short or long-term stay. Towels and linens provided.

Easy access to the Castle Arts District and the shops and restaurants on the Riverwalk!

Home away from home

The apartment was beautiful. The area was quiet and close to a lot of attractions and the airport. It was the perfect base for my home finding trip.

Easy walk to downtown Wilmington. The historic district was safe with beautiful homes. Jeff, the host provided suggestions on where to eat. Jesters which is a 1 minute walk was excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. People in the neighborhood were friendly. Overall, our stay was most enjoyable.

Great location-Impressed with how clean it was-Had everything you may need in the kitchen and more. The host provided a welcome appetizer and fruit that was unexpected and wonderful. Little balcony was a bonus! Plenty of safe parking and quiet street.

Awesome stay. Location was perfect, easy access to everything. We were able to relax and had a lot of fun. All the extras the owners supplied were great surprises, it felt like we were in a luxury rental instead of a VRBO. Would stay again, thanks!

We loved this place!!

Extremely nice place. Wanted to stay longer. Cool, historic neighborhood that we enjoyed walking around. Close to the river and an easy drive to the beach. If we come back to the area we will definitely stay here again.

Lovely week in Wilmington

My daughter and I spent the week here before she moved into her student housing. The condo was beautiful and comfortable. Our hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They even allowed us to stay 3 extra days for no extra charge because our trip was delayed by the recent hurricane! I hope to stay there again soon!

Lovely 2 bedroom house

This place was absolutely the best place I have ever stayed at! Jeff was quick to answer when I had a question. It was in a quiet location but close to everything! Very clean and cozy! I would definitely recommend this place.

Great, clean space!

The space was super clean, well-equipped, and in a convenient location. The personal touches were much appreciated, and the decór is fun and beautiful. We will definitely be renting again on our next trip to Wilmington!

Amazing!

Great place to stay. Contemporary apartment in a historic building. Modern appliances. Super clean. Short walk to the River Walk and restaurants. Owners were great communicators. Loved all the thoughtful treats they provided in the “treasure chest” and the fridge.

This was the second time staying here in the last two months. I was so glad it was available again for this two week stay. The unit is top notch from top to bottom. Well furnished with a combination of modern and antique furniture, very comfortable mattresses, and nice kitchen and laundry appliances. The bonus room works perfectly as an office. The location is great!Upon arrival we were met with snack packs in the foyer, bananas on the counter, and fresh berries and bottled water in the refrigerator. There was ample supply of Keurig coffee pods, and the combination Keurig/full coffee maker worked well for the weekend when four of us were staying or the rest of the time when it was just one or two of us there.Jeff is a great host! Very responsive and he pays attention to the small details that make the unit feel like home. Hopefully, the Quiet Historic Retreat will be available next time I'm in Wilmington!

Week in Wilmington

The home couldn't have been nicer. Fully renovated, beautifully decorated and stocked with every amenity one could hope for! It felt like bedding, towels and linens were brand new. Huge TVs with streaming services in every room. Jeff was extremely responsive and helpful with all communication. You will not go wrong with this lovely home in Wilmington's Historic District!

AMAZING!!!

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It’s beautiful! The rooms are so open and airy, all very updated. The extra touches to make our stay perfect were unexpected and delighted us all. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to the river. This place really raised the bar for all of our future rentals. 100% 5+ stars from all 4 of us! Wonderful!

Awesome Apartment

We had a great weekend in Wilmington! This rental is awesome, and when we return to Wilmington, we will stay here again. The apartment was spotless, nicely designed, and had evrything we needed. A few lights were on, the tv's were on, and music was playing for us when we arrived. There are smart tv's in the master bedroom and living room and a google home in the kitchen. Everything was newer, clean, and very nice. They added some nice extra touches as well. Thank you, and we will definitely stay again!

Absolutely perfect!

The photos do not do Jeff’s place justice! It is so beautifully decorated and furnished! It’s very spacious, clean, welcoming and peaceful. Terrific location for walking to the riverfront and for driving to the beaches. The apartment is absolutely spotless—you would swear the appliances are brand new! Bathrooms and bedrooms are well appointed and nicely decorated, beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Loved the multiple charging stations around the apartment. Jeff is super friendly, helpful, and responsive. We loved the fruit and charcuterie board he left for us and appreciated how quickly he responded when we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is located in a quiet historic neighborhood exactly as the listing stated. We found it to be extremely charming. The hosts had everything we could of wanted and more. We were both surprised and delighted. The apartment is clean and comfortable with a sophisticated decor of both old and new. In short, the place is perfect. Any return visit to Wilmington will include another stay here. Jeff was a super communicator and very responsive. Thank you for an exceptional stay

Excellent experience

We had perfect stay in spotless townhouse. The beds and sheets are top notch. The inviting essentially new building was best experience. There is huge tv with comfortable sofa. Beautiful kitchen. Great shower heads. Which is a priority. Theee is inviting scents throughout. We will always use Jeff’s place for Wilmington trips again. Jeff is amazing owner with great communication. And easy to contact for small things. Thanks again Jeff

Like winning the VRBO lottery

This property was so well appointed with inteligent touches that most people would neve think of even in thier own home. A supremely Clean, comfortable and considerate space. The bed was amazing. Jeff - is the most on point host I have ever encountered. Our stay was 45 days long - and I will fight for this space next visit to Wilmington!
