Beautiful house with extremely well appointed kitchen. Downstairs game room was great. The deck and hot tub provide fantastic long distance views. Really peaceful setting and a good base to head out to hikes and attractions near Blowing Rock and Boone. Hope to visit again.

Just wow. At first glace, the home looks like a rustic church on top of a mountain... and the wraparound view is spiritual. Our family and friends found the Summit to be cozy and comfortable, complete with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing, fun weekend. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas during our December stay. We enjoyed the fireplaces, hot tub, the well-stocked kitchen, hiking trails, and game room. Again, the mountain views are incredible. Barbara was helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to all our pre-trip questions. As we wanted, the home is in a remote location, so be prepared for a bit of a drive if you crave any shopping or restaurants. We definitely plan to return.

Relaxing & Comfortable Getaway with Stunning Views

We absolutely loved this property! Relaxing, cozy yet spacious with everything you could possibly need. The owners thought of everything and we couldn’t have imagined a more comfortable stay. Our favorite spots were the deck with incredible Mountain View’s, and rec room with pool and card table and games. We will definitely be back!

This had to be one of my best experiences so far. Check in was a breeze and check out was painless. I was able to reach host for a minor detail(snake) which was handled quickly, he was outside but close to house, they were there in 2 hours to handle issue and never saw critter again. Its out in woods for sure, with stunning views. I would definitely recommend this for get together or family vacation. The house is beautiful and very clean as well as very well maintained. 10/10 would stay again.

Pre-holiday decompression

Place is absolutely stunning, the views are amazing, we found our new spring and fall goto place. It is situated almost equal distance to Lenore, hickory and blowing rock...perfect place to relax and the trails are private great to enjoy some tranquility and nature

Just what we needed!

Our family met up at the cabin and stayed put. We enjoyed the magnificent views, hiking trails, fire pit, hot tub and the variety of indoor/outdoor games that were provided. A couple family members utilized the desk for their work. The deck overlooking the mountains was enjoyed during the early mornings to enjoy coffee with the sunrise and reading until others woke up. During the day the deck was used to watch the clouds glide across the mountains and during the night, to stargaze and listen to the night sounds. Beautiful inside and out, it was all perfect! We would all highly recommend!

Peaceful cabin

Friends Getaway

Beautiful Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The view is unmatched! The hosts were very friendly and easy to contact whenever we had questions. The cabin is well stocked with everything you may need and very accommodating for children. We had a great time and look forward to returning!

Great for complete seclusion

The cabin is exactly as described. It was a bit tough to find in the rain and fog but the complete quiet was worth it all. The trails were a lot of fun. My family enjoyed our time together and taking in God's beauty.

Magnificent Cabin is magnificent

Our family and a family friend had a great time at the cabin. Great amenities and the views are stunning. Had an issue getting my vehicle up the hill to the house but my son shuttled us from a "parking area" at the bottom. Look forward to returning!

Amazing Location

My family and I had an amazing week stay! One of the most beautiful and welcoming homes we've ever stayed. Nature (10-15 species of warblers; wild turkeys, whipper-poor-wills, hawks, etc.); star gazing; Blue Ridge Parkway views; great nearby towns (Lanoir, Blowing Rock, Boone). Serenity, beauty, and blessed. Wonderful, responsive and accommodating host.
