Orlando (Disney World) is 3 hours, Miami is 1 1/2 hours. The famous island of Key West is a 4 hour boat ride.
Over 2, 400 square feet of professionally updated luxurious living space awaits you. From the comfortable new king-sized master bed to our casual counter breakfast bar - our home has been beautifully appointed.
Huge two-story high ceilings and an open floor plan give this second floor townhome a very airy and open feeling.
The centerpiece gathering spot is the kitchen with living area. Two comfortable family rooms, one more formal than the other. The same can be said for the eating areas. In the kitchen, sit at the breakfast nook with four counter stools, or eat at the kitchen table. Want a more formal setting? Entertain or dine under the chandelier in the comfortable, but more formal dining room. Seating for 16 - Between the counter, kitchen table, dining table and lanai table.
Speaking of the lanai -it's where you will want to be! Our floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open up the home to the lanai bringing the outside in. There's no better restaurant in our opinion than getting take out, mixing a cocktail or opening a special bottle of wine and eating al fresco at our dining table on the lanai. Watch the sunset over the palms and cheers to a wonderful day in paradise.
Two distinct TV viewing areas, one more formal and one casual, both very comfortable. Each with large screen TV's with on demand, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. Lots of games, puzzles and books to keep you occupied if and when it rains.
Open the double doors to the King suite and you'll find a beautifully updated bedroom with two sliding glass doors to the lanai. 20-foot ceilings along with glass block windows, make this room very open and bright. The King suite bathroom has lots of storage, double sink, and walk-in glass shower. Large walk-in custom closet will hold everything you brought with you along with all of your purchases! Need to do a little work? Added during the pandemic, we have a large executive desk with window view bringing natural light for your zoom meetings. Need to print something? Our wifi printer is near our dining room table and doubles as a copier.
On the other end of the house is the Queen suite with a very comfortable bed and brand-new mattress. The newly remodeled guest bathroom has large walk-in shower. Down the hallway in the utility room, you will find our large capacity washer and dryer and plenty of pool and beach towels.
Go up the stairs to the loft with 2 single beds which have very comfortable, new mattresses. A large over-sized couch can pull out into a double bed for extra sleeping space. A mirror and double dresser complete this room.
The beautiful outdoor pool with waterfall feature and spa are just steps away across the street. In season (December - March) grab a drink and meet the neighbors every Wednesday evening at the pool for happy hour.
The private beach park on the Gulf of Mexico is accessed via a very pleasant 10-minute boat shuttle. Our community is the only one in all of SW Florida to have a private island beach park. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided, along with large two-story picnic pavilion and updated restrooms, showers, beach volleyball, 2 covered beach picnic pavilions with grills. Bird watching is phenomenal, and we do see dolphins periodically on the boat ride to the beach park.
Pickleball anyone? We have 8 courts and equipment for your use at our community center. Canoes and kayaks are available at our exclusive kayak park within our gated community with access to the inlet waters of the gulf. The kayak and canoe park also has guided paddles offered almost every week.
Want to sail? We have several small sailboats for your use along with complimentary sailing lessons. Private tennis club and a staffed fitness club with are also included. Several different fitness classes are offered daily. There is a beautiful butterfly garden which is worth a visit. All of these activities are included without a fee during your stay, with the exception of fitness classes.
The gated community of Pelican Landing has over 40 neighborhoods. We are located in the neighborhood of Cypress Island - you will drive over a small bridge to enter this secluded neighborhood. Surrounded by palms, and cypress, you'll see greenery and flowers everywhere you look. Need peace and quiet? You'll get that here!
Grocery shopping, pharmacies, and restaurants are within walking or bike riding distance. Naples, with its wonderful waterfront restaurants and shopping, is easily reached within 20 minutes on US 41.
