Brand New Old Town Casita

Brand new casita (built 2022) in Old Town, Albuquerque. Be one of the first to enjoy this stylish and fully stocked 650 sf home. Located just a quick walk to the plaza, museums, shops, galleries, restaurants, and grocery store. Casita has large windows with custom top down-bottom up blinds, walk-in closet in bedroom, smart washer/dryer, and kitchen pantry with plenty of storage. Kitchen is complete with quality appliances, all cooking equipment, dishware, utensils, and spice rack. Two sets of all linens are provided.

The home is a detached casita behind the main house. There is separation between the two homes so both units are very private. It is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. Exterior of property is equipped with motion sensor lighting and video cameras for your security. All utilities and high-speed internet are included.

Photo ID, refundable security deposit, and signed rental agreement required within 48 hours to secure booking.

Wonderful, new, clean and quiet

Great property, very comfortable, well furnished with all new appliances. The hostess was excellent with good communication and questions answered. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Beautifully appointed and stocked.

I travel extensively, and this was the best accommodation I have visited. Just the right size it was also stocked well and loved the decor. My daughter was thrilled and she is hard to please. Hope to stay again on our next trip to ABQ.

We flew in for a Balloon Fiesta so it was a great location! We had a wonderful time in this beautifully finished casita. All of the touches and comforts of home, Joanna was a delight to communicate with and made us feel so welcome. This place exceeded our expectation in every way!!

The best

This elegant unique place is one of the most remarkable VRBO sites that I have ever stayed in. Quiet, basically in Old Town, beautifully constructed. Best of all, the owner is absolutely the best. Responsive, thoughtful, helpful in every way. I will stay here every time I visit Albuquerque.

Best Place in Old Town for 1-2 People

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at casita contenta. Beautifully appointed from the selection of materials when constructed to the furnishings, appliances, bedding, and linens. Short walk to Old Town Plaza, museums, and Tiguex Park. Will definitely book again upon return to my home neighborhood. 5 stars all the way!

Casita Contenta Didn't Disappoint

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week at Casita Contenta and truly felt at home there. The Casita had everything we needed to feel comfortable, and our host was a pleasure to deal with, answering any questions or concerns that we had promptly and pleasantly. We would happily recommend this property to any friends or family who might be looking for a vacation rental in the Albuquerque area in the future.

One of Albuquerque’s Best

The property was very clean and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The uniqueness of New Mexico was walking distance to Old Town Plaza, museums, art galleries, restaurants, fast food, local grocery and drug stores. Security for the property was great; never worried about our vehicle parked outside or our personal items in the home when gone. Great location for day trips with easy access to state highways. We highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Casita

Simply outstanding. After a cancelled flight and a lot of rearranging, my wife and I arrived in ABQ and were thrilled to find everything we could want in this new condo. Clean, safe, easy check in, and great communication along the way. We were pleasantly surprised that the air-conditioning even kept up with the over 100 degree days! We will look to return the next time we are in the area.

Fabulous stay

First and foremost let me say this is a fabulous casita! Joanna was a pleasure to work with! Everything was beyond our expectations! It’s adorable, in a great location to Old Town, shopping and restaurants. Close to the freeway. We loved our stay, and I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a charming place to stay. Casita Contenta

Casita Contenta is a beautiful home away from home. It has all the comforts of home. I found it to be exactly as described. It is in a great neighborhood, and allows for a great walk to “Old Town”. It is located about 5 minutes from UNM hospital, there is a neighborhood market 7 blocks away, as well as a gas station. JoAnna is a fabulous host, with great communication. I have loved my time here, and recommend this to anyone wanting to stay near “Old Town”.

Definite delight

Review My partner and I came up from Las Cruces for a medical appt at the UNM Hospital. This was the first time we stayed in this area instead of near downtown. And it will not be the last.This casita was very comfortable, clean and attractively done. Joanna was a delight to communicate with. She answered questions and put up with my technological deficit. That always wins points. Great place to stay!

Would stay again in this lovely, clean & quiet Casita

Joanna is a wonderful host! She checked in to make sure everything is going well, whether I have questions or if she can help with anything. She was more than happy to give recommendations for finding my way around town. The place has all the amenities one needs, and then some! Completely updated and remodeled (saw old photos), neatly arranged and well equipped. It is also nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to old town and one of my fave coffee places during my stay, the Blackbird ;) Thank you so much for opening your doors to me, Joanna. Should I plan to visit ABQ in the future, I’ll be sure to reach to stay at your casita.

Great choice for our Intro to ABQ & NM

Just right for one or two who want the option of cooking and laundry. Quiet neighborhood convenient to Old Town, ABQ Museum, Sawmill Market, Lowe's Market, etc. Good value such that we didn't mind paying double rent while doing two overnight side trips to other parts of NM, while maintaining our base here. We didn't go downtown, but it's not far and it's an easy drive just beyond to UNM/Nob Hill area; there's just not much traffic in ABQ compared to the northeast. For golfers, UNM North is a bargain 9-hole course in nice condition. They'll even give you a pull cart for free. Best dining experience was Mesa Provisions on Nob Hill. I certainly miss the daily clear blue skies since returning to overcast and rainy conditions in Rhode Island. There seems to be some sort of dislike between ABQ and Santa Fe people. Santa Fe should be visited, but we feel like we made the right choice by basing in ABQ.

The home was clean and all necessary items were on the premises.

Small but efficient. Lots of attractions within walking distance. The living area has only a couch. When a visitor or visitors were in the home the kitchen table chairs were used for additional seating. Overall very nice and the contact person was receptive asking about the property or any issues. Would go back and stay again

Our family loves staying at this property when we visit ABQ. There is so much to do and explore within walking distance, and it's such a quiet and tranquil place to come home to at the end of the day.
