This unit overlooks the Capefear River, Riverwalk, and Battleship North Carolina Memorial. located on Front St above a popular bar and steps away from bustling restaurants, shops, nightlife, tours, and so much more! Recently renovated the unit is decorated with modern art, vintage Turkish rugs and comfortable furnishings with sleeping accommodations for six. Enjoy a night in lounging on our river view deck or take part in downtown nightlife which offers something for everyone!
The space
Recently remodeled, the unit has two bedrooms with one bedroom in the front of the unit and the other in back. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom. The second bathroom can be entered from the hallway or from the second bedroom.

For sleeping arrangements, in addition to a king size bed and double bed, there is a day bed in the master bedroom which is 30" x 69" and a larger second day bed in the living room which measures 34" x 80". (linens provided for all).

Important: condo is located over a bar that is open until 2am. Additionally you will be located in the entertainment district which is lively at times. If you are staying downtown to take advantage of the nightlife you will love this location. We have done our best to sound proof the condo and provide noice canceling machines in the bedrooms and earplugs. For people with sensitive hearing or who are bothered by background noice you may consider someplace more suitable. This is not an issue for most of our guests but we want to be upfront. We do not provide early check out, credits, or refunds due to music or noise which is part of our vibrant Historic Riverfront.

Nice apartment and well equipped!! As mentioned in the description the apartment is located above a bar which is creating loud music till midnight. The apartment is very central located!

Host was wonderful and gave us lots of recommendations. Bar downstairs will play music, but we went down to grab a drink a couple of times and they were so nice! Great little spot.

The location was absolutely great for walking around town and the Riverwalk. We really enjoyed our stay here aside from the the noise at night from the bar below. While the earplugs and noise maker reduce the noise, there's no escaping the vibrations from the bass, making it hard to fall asleep until 2am when the bar closes. I would give this stay a 10/10 had that not been an issue everynight (especially Friday). Cam was absolutely great to communicate with and was very quick to respond with detailed information!

I took my teenage son and nephew for their first Wilmington experience. They requested Downtown. This loft VRBO was perfect for the three of us. It had everything we needed. Yes, as other reviews stated, you will hear the music from the Bar below. Cam provides white noise machines in both bedrooms and ear plugs. I used the noise machines but not the ear plugs and was just fine. The place was so clean and beautifully decorated. We will be back!

Amazing location if you party until 2am

The host was a wonderful person and the place is gorgeous! Great location downtown in the middle of the action. Loud, raucous crowds and music - if that is your thing. The parking pass was worth a lot of money if you calculate the nightly rate. It was entirely my fault that I didn’t read all the way to the bottom of the listing to see that from 2pm until 2am, not only can you hear the loud music from below but you can feel it. No amount of ear plugs or sound machines make it bearable to sleep restfully. We were not in town to party. We were there to drop our daughter off at college and had to be rested to move her into her new place. It was miserable and completely exhausting for us.

Great apartment but can be loud

The owners make this clear but be aware that this apartment is over a bar. The owners try to mitigate the noise but the fact is you will be hearing muted music until 2 am. Other than that everything is excellent. The location is outstanding and the apartment itself is very nice. The owners are helpful and easy to work with.

Beautiful place with river view.

We brought our friends from the west coast to see Wilmington and this was such a great central location to what we wanted to see and do. It’s a beautiful apartment. It was very clean(a top priority of mine) and the decor was as pictured. Our host was great and the earplugs and white noise machines were very helpful with the music and noise from the bar downstairs. However, we could actually “feel the beat” through the bed when we were going to sleep. It really didn’t bother me at all, but it wasn’t a favorite amenity of the others. : )

This was a great stay. Walking distance to everything you would want. Beds were extremely comfortable! Just understand you are over a bar so you will have music until late. Earplugs provided!

Great host and location

This is a lovely apartment in the heart of Wilmington. It was spacious and well stocked and has very comfortable beds. It was great being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. True stand-outs of this property were how clean the apartment was (seriously spotless!!) and also the courtesy and kindness of the host, which was superb. There was some noise from the bar that’s below the apartment and that was expected. When I felt the bass a little too much, I texted the host, and in a few moments, the bass was dialed back. My son is a heavy sleeper, so he slept in the big room and never noticed a thing and slept like a log.

We stayed at this property to be able to watch the drone light show on the river. We were able to see it from the balcony. Prime location. Very clean and spacious rooms. Host was kind, responsive, and accommodating.

Riverwalk Fest

This property was perfect for our stay. We work nights normally so staying out all night and bar hopping and mingling with the locals was exactly what we were looking to do. Came into town for a wedding and was able to walk everywhere and sight see. We did a ghost bar crawl, the bizarre museum and danced all night at the reef cafe. This particular weekend was the Riverwalk festival and we were able to shop at all the vendors and enjoy some carnival food as well. We created a lot of fun memories. The people are so friendly and welcoming. We are definitely making a trip back as soon as we can.
