We enjoyed our stay here. The house was really comfortable, super clean and the host provided lots of thoughtful amenities. The back porch was a great place to relax with a nice view of the water. It was an easy drive into town to go to restaurants and view the sights.

Was there to see where my dad grew up and to visit extended family and visit my ancestors homes and graves. . Lots of room and the interior was beautiful. Did not spend a lot of time outside due to the heat but had a beautiful view of Cane river.

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

This home was exactly as described. Extremely clean, fresh smelling, and beautifully decorated. Very easy to get into the home and great communication with the owners. I would stay here again!

Everything was great. I was disappointed that the oven wasn’t working, but everything else was good. There are bugs that live everywhere, maybe a I’ll bring my “hotshot” next time. Overall it was wonderful. Thank you.

Veterans Retreat

Amazing Hospitalality. We used this listing as part of a Veterans Retreat and Fishing Weekend. We couldnt asked for a better place and working with the host throughout the stay was abreeze..Definitely Recommend..

At the lake

The property was in excellent condition with many amenities. It was very close to Nachitoches. We would highly recommend the property for all age groups.

Little Getaway

Owners were quick with their responses and accommodations were nice. Relaxing sitting on the back porch overlooking the Cane River. It was quiet and peaceful.

Steve and Cindy’s place was very accommodating and peaceful. A wonderful place to come to and a peaceful retreat from the rest of the main family we were down to see for the holiday.

Such a precious house. Uniquely decorated and so livable. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed the outdoor space as much as inside. Quiet area.

Charming Cane River Home

Beautiful patio and view of Cane River and Christmas lights in a quiet neighborhood with big back yard and beautiful trees. Plenty of room to cook, gather and enjoy time with family and friends around the fire pit. Will definitely return!

Taking our son to school

This was the perfect get away for our family before we had to move our son into his apartment at NSU. Beautiful location and house on the Cane River. We fished a couple of days and enjoyed the area.

This was a very enjoyable experience for us. Due to my husbands medical conditions we have not been able to travel much. This was our first vacation rental experience. Everything in the rental was easy to move around and access. With a little help he managed the two steps easily. The kitchen and dining areas were roomy and well stocked with needed items. We enjoyed the smart TV but the ultimate experience was the outdoor sitting area. The stunning view of the river and all the items provided for our comfort and enjoyment was overwhelming. Our grandchildren attending NSU came to hang out with us in between homecoming activities. Our son is a NSU alumni as well. We love this place and will hopefully return someday.
