Very nicely remodeled condo

Spacious and modern makes for comfortable living. We watched sunset from the lanai every night, and enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and grill.

Wonderful Property!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was modern and clean and included beach gear (chairs, umbrella, and beach towels). The location was very close to Magic Sands Beach and town, with lots of dining. Da Poke Shack and a taco food truck were across the street and very convenient for a quick meal. Cross the street to watch an amazing sunset! The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent unit and property

Unit is newly remodeled and we'll appointed, the pool and grounds very nice, good ocean view. Car needed as not much restaurants or shopping but that is true for most properties. Would stay here again.

Great place, nice location!

Our family of 4 (two adult children) stayed here during a recent visit to Kona. The location is quite good - across the street from the ocean, but there is a nice view from the lanai and it was fun to watch the waves breaking. The complex is quiet (maybe too quiet - see other reviews from those with small children), the condo has been recently remodeled and is very nice. We didn't have any significant issues, but we had a few questions for the property managers and got very prompt replies. Overall, we were very happy with our stay

Amazing view

The best feature of this unit is definitely the lanai and the view when sitting out there! The interior is very basic, clean, and the pictures are accurate. Alli Dr had more traffic than we realized and it moved slow but we just made sure to adjust the times we needed to leave. Nice grass area to sit and relax (but not swim) across the street and lots of tide pools too.

The pictures on the listing are very accurate. The whole Condo was recently renovated with the majority of the furniture and appliances being new. We had a few requests of the property manager when we first arrived and they were excellent to deal with and everything was looked after very quickly. We liked the location and you have an ocean view off the lani to enjoy. Recommend you rent a car and access to everything is convenient. All the neighbours were very quiet and the whole building is well looked after. Enjoyed our stay

As advertised

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean. The dishes smelt like vinegar, but a quick wash to the dishes we used fixed that. I appreciated the starter kit with paper towels, trash bags, soap, shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, 2 oz kona coffee, and some samples of local chips. It was very thoughtful and we loved our stay here. I just wish there was disinfectant wipes for the gym! Kitchen appliances a big win with a blendor, coffee grinder, fridge filter for ice and water. All in all we will definitely book again!

Exceptional Ocean View

We received clear instructions on where to park and how to access the condo. Upon our evening arrival we were greeted with a very clean and updated/nicely decorated condo. The next morning we were pleasantly surprised (although we knew from our booking experience how close we were to the ocean), with our view of the ocean; hearing the big waves was AMAZING and such a treat. We absolutely loved sitting on the lanai and found that we could see the whales off in the distance - such a fun experience. The beds were very comfortable for our family of three. The location of the condo made it very easy to get around Kona. You wouldn't need a rental car if you wanted to use the trolly system that runs up and down Alii. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and won't hesitate to recommend to our family and friends.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience at this condo was interesting. The condo itself was very clean and well represented by the pictures. There were numerous amenities (beach chairs, ice cooler, and laundry detergent) that helped our family stay comfortable during the stay. However, immediately after check-in, we noticed one of the faucets in the master suite was broken. We contacted CB Island Vacations and they provided a solution very quickly, though we decided to decline fixing it until after our stay. Their communication was great. Some negatives of the stay: all of the knives provided were incredibly rusty, some of the sheets had stains, some towels had what appeared to be blood stains. There were other linens provided, so we switched out what we could. The biggest negative, through no fault of the company, were the other residents. On our last day before checking out, my family decided to spend the afternoon at the pool. My two children were not yelling (one of the pool rules), but two different residents felt the need to shout from their lanais telling us to keep it down. The resident in 104 spoke to my wife first. Immediately after, the resident in 204 shouted from his balcony. This resident repeatedly shouted “Do you understand? Do you understand?” as if we did not speak English. This was borderline racist since we are of Asian descent. A pool maintenance worker, who was present throughout this entire exchange, approached us and said “your kids are not even loud.” After this unpleasant experience, we decided it was no longer acceptable for us to use the condo amenities and proceeded to leave. The resident in 104 felt the need to COME DOWN TO THE POOL to berate us AGAIN in front of our children. This was incredibly unacceptable. We will NOT be staying at this property again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a tremendous experience. The unit was spotless, the location was convenient to all amenities and the view was gorgeous. The only thing renters with children will need to know is that some of the permanent residents of the complex are VERY sensitive to noise. My two children were asked to keep the noise down at the pool even though they were not yelling at unacceptable levels AND they were enjoying the pool during normal hours (not during the posted quiet hours starting at 9pm). Those complaints made us more self-conscious of our use of facility amenities even though we were conducting ourselves per all posted rules.Otherwise, it was an absolute dream of a unit. Highly recommend all other aspects.
