Lago Wildwood es una comunidad privada en el Sierra colinas. Situado en la ciudad de Penn Valley (cerca de la autopista 20) es una comunidad boscosa preciosa enclavado en torno a un lago privado de 300 acres.

A 15 minutos de la pintoresca ciudad de Grass Valley (Hwy 49) y sólo 1 hora a Lake Tahoe y 2 horas de la East Bay y San Francisco hace de este lugar un gran escapada de vacaciones.

Lago Wildwood se encuentra por encima de la niebla y por debajo de la nieve. La elevación es de 2500 pies que permite un lago disfrute año completo. Hay zonas de playa y 5 parques para ir al campo o para jugar al tenis, voleibol, baloncesto o el tejo. También hay un disco volador campo de golf de 18 hoyos dentro de 1. 5 millas.

Esta propiedad cuenta con una plataforma abierta con comedor del patio para ver las hermosas puestas de sol. El patio trasero te lleva por un césped verde al muelle donde se puede nadar, pescar, y observar las bellas vistas del lago.

Esta casa es ideal para reuniones familiares y muy amigable para los niños. No hay necesidad de empacar sus suministros del bebé / de playa. Peaceful Property

The property is beautiful and the house was perfect for our family stay. The house is spacious and well equipped, the grounds are well kept and the view is spectacular. We loved gazing out at the lake. There are plenty of things to do. The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier and kayaking in the lake. The Foosball table saw plenty of action as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Comfortable, clean and Quiet

This house in Lake Wildwood was perfect for our visit to family in the same neighborhood. It was clean and very comfortable (both the beds and living room). The neighborhood is very quiet. We loved looking out over the lake, particularly in the morning. Lots of wildlife to watch as well. We were there over Christmas, which was fun because there were lots of Christmas lights to enjoy. Unfortunately, it rained every day of our trip, so we weren't able to enjoy all the amenities the house offered. One note, the driveway is VERY steep, which was a little disconcerting but it did not create any problems for us.

Fantastic Time!!

We had family members stay from ages 4-79. The home was clean, inviting and so many different activities for all of us to enjoy. We were in the water with all of the water toys, played shuffle board, ping pong, tether ball, and just truly enjoyed our time there with everything that was available and being with each other. It will be great memories for all of us and we hope to go again some day. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Steve and Sachie’s place on Lake Wildwood is a hidden gem

Clean and very well supplied house on beautiful Lake Wildwood. We had 7 adults and 3 children (ages 4, 2, 9 months) and were very comfortable. They had so many things to do for kids! So many outdoor toys, scooters, floaties, kayaks, noodles. My kids were endlessly entertained exploring everything. We had a lovely time kayaking across the lake each day to spend time at the beach. We found a new beach each day! We also had a ton of fun swimming off the dock. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hoping to come back to this little slice of paradise every summer as long as they'll let us! Conveniently near our favorite Yuba River spot & so delightful to come back for dinner watching the sunset over the lake, followed by peaceful kayaking at dusk. Then stargazing at night! House is super comfy & spacious. Hosts are kind & communicative. Also: fawns frolicking on the lawn!

The house was very clean, warm and welcoming. Even better in person. The Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. The master bathroom shower was beautiful 10/10. The location and views can't be beat. We enjoyed our time seating next to the lake talking and laughing. We would book again!!!

5 stars - Outstanding Lake launchpad!

This home was an outstanding launchpad for an active lake weekend. Between the sandbox, water toys, and nearby playgrounds, our 1 year old was in pure heaven!! Our family was quite comfortable – Steve was an incredibly helpful and responsive host. He even helped arrange for a neighbor to give us a boat ride, which was a highlight. If we could think of any suggestions (and we'd have to really dig deep), we recommend giving the lightbulbs in the living room a makeover - too many clashing yellows and whites. Otherwise, we had such a fabulous time that we are now looking into buying a home at Lake Wildwood. Thank you again, Steve!!

2023 Girl's Trip

This is our second time at this property, it is amazing! The property is perfect for our group (5-6), plenty of sleeping space and full bathrooms. The outdoor deck area along the lake is perfect for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine or welcoming the morning with a cup of coffee. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Summertime family getaway!

This is our second stay here and we always enjoy ourselves. The Master Bathroom upgrades are amazing and the shower itself was such a treat for this tired mom. :) The house is a great size for our group (2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 3 kids). It includes a lot so you don't have to pack a whole lot other than clothes and food which is great, especially when having to pack for 3 young children. The lakefront location, is beautiful and the sandbox on site is a favorite for my young kids. The owners Sachie and Steve are very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, low key vacation.

Wonderful rental to spend some fun time by the lake

Love how well stock the property is, although the garage could use some organization of all the items. The property is very clean, well kept, perfect location, very comfortable beds. Shower jets in master is amazing, whole house is very pleasant and lots to do to have fun.

First Family Vacation with Baby

My family is all over the place so we try and get together, preferably on a lake, once a year. We subscribe to the newsletter 'Only in Your State' where this property was featured. It was perfect! My husband and I are new parents so being able to put the baby down and jump in the lake was a dream. I did end up using my own pack n' play and would recommend bringing your own, but it was nice there was one there if we were in a pinch. Getting to watch the fireworks right from our backyard while the baby slept was so nice. You never have to leave Lake Wildwood, but if you do, Nevada City is adorable and the Yuba river is gorgeous! We took advantage, left the baby with Grandma and Grandpa, and did some whitewater rafting. Highly recommend!

Beautiful little piece of paradise!

We are a group of friends of 35+ years who get together annually to laugh and catch up. This beautiful lakeside property had so many extra plusses, like shuffle board, corn hole, kayaks, paddle boards (we didn't try them, but in warmer weather we would.). The home is spacious, clean, well furnished and supplied and the owner was readily available to answer questions both before and during our stay.

Very nice location for family summer vacation

This is a great location for outdoor activities. Unfortunately it rained and hailed and even snowed a bit the week we were there so we were mostly indoors. Not much to do in the area in bad weather. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to a couple hiccups at the property. We’d definitely book again in warmer months.

Very quiet, lots of activities for the family to enjoy on property. It was an amazing sight the second you walk into the home. The sunset made it definitely picture worthy.

Sachie, the brains behind the operation, is a Nurse Practitioner. Her career requires a kind heart which spills over to her devotion in providing great customer satisfaction for those who desire to rent our home. Steve, the husband who stays out of the brain's way, is an electrical engineer, and therefore the guy that Sachie has you call when you may be having an issue with a device that uses electricity. His and their two daughter's primary responsibility is to test all of the fun activities that Sachie has provided for the home and make sure that they are smile approved.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We work in the hustle and bustle of the San Francisco Bay Area. We wanted to find a place to get away and relax and bond/create memories with our children. There are very limited lake experiences available that are a reasonable driving distance from San Francisco Bay Area. This wooded area in the Sierra foothills gives a more serene feel versus other lake communities like Copperopolis. The size/altitude of the lake provides for more enjoyment than other lake communities like Lake of the Pines. At only 2.5 hours, the drive from San Francisco Bay Area is more convenient than other choices like Lake Tahoe and Lake Almanor. Lake Wildwood was clearly the best choice for lake usability, serenity, and travel time considerations. We spent two years looking at different homes for sale in Lake Wildwood alone. We originally had no interest in Lake Front, and wanted to keep to a lower cost home, however, when we sat in the backyard of this home, we were mesmerized by just how relaxing the view was. It is hard to explain the fulfillment and enjoyment you get with this view. The kind of enjoyment that we thought would for sure keep us excited about coming up many times of the year and for many years to come.

This property provides the largest lake view of any lot in Lake Wildwood. This property is West facing and allows for great sunset viewing from the deck or even while relaxing indoors in the kitchen/great room/master bedroom. The house is single story and abuts to the lakes edge, providing very flat and easy access to the water. We believe this lot is one of the premier locations in all of Lake Wildwood. With a West facing lot, the lake just seems more alive with sparkles from noon hour until Sunset. This home is also situated on a quiet loop with extremely low traffic. There is a greenbelt of large rock outcroppings across the street that will provide kids with additional unique activities. Please view this home's location compared to other Lake Wildwood rentals to understand why you will have a better visual experience, more enjoyment, and more quietness/peacefullness with this vacation spot.
