Greatest place

Everything was perfect for us, close to the field where we had the event, big enough for all the team, so many entertainment (darts, arcade, basket net…), the kitchen had all we need for breakfast and dinner and the rooms and toilets were also perfect. For sure that we will rent this house if we come back here to play next year

Check in was easy, property was even better than expected. House was immaculate. The decor was fun, with lots of little touches. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve a 10 course meal. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. The game room was a hit with everyone as was the huge backyard; enjoyed the stars while sitting on the Adirondack chairs with a roaring fire. Proximity to URI was amazing! We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay in this property. Pros: Very clean and well laid out property. The rooms are well sized, the area is peaceful and well located and the game room offered great entertainment options. The TV in almost every bedroom was a pleasant option. The hosts were very helpful and communicated well. They make excellent hosts. I feel they really analyzed what would be required by guests. This is really good value for money. We felt very comfortable.Cons: Not a lot and minor recommendations at most: The temperture limits for heat were locked and it led to a very chilly first night. Providing several extra blankets would help. Having more than 2 rolls toilet paper per bathroom would be helpful for larger groups; would recommend a small trash can in each bedroom. Although host was kind enough to remove the rusty lock on door of bike shed, the air pumps did not work and nephew was unable to ride bikes, which was a pity. Ideally, this should be checked before each stay. The checkout cleanout required by guests is a little more than would usually be expected. These are minor compared to the overwhelming positives and only serve to further improve an already wonderful property.

This is a stunning property with exceptional hospitality from the hosts. They were kind and gracious and responded quickly to any questions. The space is incredible and so nicely appointed, we will be back.

Great time had by all

Despite the lack of good weather over the first half of our 1 week stay and the lack of sightings on our whale watch. we still had a blast having three generations together. The kids had a blast just running around the house along the wide hallway, along with mini-golf, ice cream, shoreside clam huts, a barbecue in the yard and binging on Transylvania 1, 2 and 3. We adults played cards a lot and everyone joined in family games both inside and outside in the large well kept yard. This is our 2nd year enjoying this venue, and hopefully there will be many more.

Family Getaway

Our stay was fantastic, ages ranged from 3 to 61 and everyone had a great time and loved the house. Some of the best beaches just a 15 min drive. Highly recommend

Great house and location for families!

The home was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for 4 kids, parents, and grandparents to all have their own space. Well stocked kitchen and bath. Plenty of yard games and bikes for kids to enjoy. Location was perfect for attending games at Rhode Island University and only a short 20 min drive to Narragansett and Newport to spend the day. Tons of trails in the community to explore. Joe was a great host and very easy to communicate with. Will look to stay again in the future!

Even better than the photos!

This is the first VRBO I have stayed in where the place is actually better than it appeared in the photos. I have a teenage child who uses a power wheelchair full-time. Many places list themselves as hp accessible but do not work for someone in a wheelchair. The open layout, wide hallways, wide doorways, roll under sink and roll in shower are exactly what we need and are hard to find in one house. The game room was an extra bonus, especially the NBA Jams arcade game. Mattresses were comfortable too!

Awesome home

I was so happy to find a home away from home. My family and I traveled to witness my oldest son graduating from Navy Officer Candidate School in Newport and returned to he home with him after the graduation. The home was very welcoming and very spacious. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space it is very deceptive looking from the street. Great kitchen, great dining area, great living space and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The accessible bathroom and shower was also very welcoming. I will return again because Joe is an awesome host!

Christmas Stay

For the first time, my family and I took a short trip Christmas week. This house is amazing. Centrally located to so many different day excursions, resturants and shopping. Our dogs joined us and it was a perfect place to have them. Check in and check out were easy. The owner was responsive and very easy to work with. We would love to come back this spring or later in the summer!! Stay here and you won't be dissapointed. Chris (Dec 2023)

Spatial Ranch on Large Lot

The large roomy ranch style house left little to be desired as it was filled with all the amenities including linens, towels and modern kitchen appliances. The rooms run around the perimeter of the house with bathrooms, laundry room and maintenance rooms in the middle. A wide corridor separates the outer rooms from the central core. The kids had a blast just running around the circular corridor, but spent more time outside on the sprawling grounds playing basketball, badminton or just sitting in the gazebo. Also had a great time at the beach (a 15 minute drive) and the many fine restaurants.

Best Home Ever - Perfect!

This home was the BEST home we stayed in. The home was very very clean, stocked, modern, and looked brand new. The host provided so many amenities, from bikes, badminton, a firepit, a dart board, and a foosball table (the kid's favorite). The host went above and beyond. This was the perfect getaway. We will be booking again!

Everything you need!

Property (although a few miles from the shore) was perfect inside and out. 4 large bedrooms, game room, large bathrooms and all extremely clean. Tons of things to do provided in the shed. Large back yard with fire pit. Owner was in contact to make sure we had what we needed. We had a great time. Seriously consider this property!

Everything and more!

Just finished a week stay at this property. The pictures do not do this listing justice. My family and I had a wonderful time. It was a great place to call “home” for the week. This listing will not disappoint! The property was immaculate and had all the amenities of home. We were able to enjoy our vacation because we knew we had a safe, clean place to stay. Highly recommend.
