Our house is walkable distance from Downtown Boyne City that has great dining. From a leisurely afternoon on the Boyne River to watching a sailboat catch a summer breeze or whether Ski and Winter sports in Winter, all fun in one place. 10 mins drive to Avalanche Bay, Boyne Mountain. 20-30 mins to Petosky and Charlevoix. We have 3 beds and 1 sofa bed, thus sleeps 8 comfortably.

Great location and price but some issues

The location can’t be beat. Great deal for our family of 6 to all have beds to sleep on! We loved the decor and overhead showers. For a full week it wasn’t perfect, as the washing machine didn’t work fully, the kitchen wasn’t great (mouse droppings in drawers/cupboards), some windows didn’t close completely (making nearby fire station extra noticeable at night), etc etc. The outdoor area wasn’t very usable for us- our six year olds needed help to access due to broken steps and not enough seating for us anyway. But that wasn’t a big problem because we were out often enjoying the beaches.

Poor Initial Communication

The rental worked well for the plans and activities we had planned. In past rental experiences, the host gave us details on what to expect, and when to expect receiving entry information. This did not happen and it caused us to worry unnecessarily.

Decent home for a short weekend

The home is located a quick drive from downtown. The oven is more like an XXL toaster oven and we also found mouse droppings under the sink. The floor in the bathroom gets soaking wet when you shower. However, the water pressure was good and the living room furniture comfortable. The host reaponded quickly when we informed them there were no coffee filters. Quiet neighborhood. The house did the job.

Boyne City 2023

Bought can of ant spray for a few ants under sink. Vacuumed mice terds from under sink area. Had to buy trash bags. Could not get tv to work properly. Windows are dirty. Felt dishes were not washed. Light switches are not easily identified as to what they control. Appears amateurish remodeling job. Rolled up throw rug in front of tv per the ends were curled and made a tripping hazard. Showers were not a good quality.. Never go back!

Great trip

This place was perfect for our family of 6 and our long weekend stay in Boyne attending a family wedding. The property was spacious and homey and met all of our needs. The back deck was an added bonus, so peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

Close to town

Worked for us as we were not there much . Close to boyne mountain. Only one Tv , but wireless worked. The showers we not very hot.

Ski weekend at Boyne Mountain

This home was only a15 min drive from Boyne Mountain. After a long day of skiing, it was a perfect place to relax and get ready for another day of skiing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Clean kitchen with everything supplied for coffee. Thankful I brought my own creamer. (Only had powder creamer supplied.) Very clean fridge and freezer. Would definatly stay here again for the location and accomidations.
