Relaxing Getaway with Birds, Breeze, and Sunsets

The property is absolutely beautiful, and the views are incredible. Thank you for making sure the beds were truly comfortable—there’s nothing worse than going on vacation to relax, only to lose sleep because of a bad mattress. I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve returned home feeling completely rested, and for that, I sincerely thank you.The sunsets were breathtaking, and although I’ve never considered myself a birdwatcher, I was completely captivated by all the bird activity around the property. The fishing was fantastic, and the breeze made it even more enjoyable to spend time outside. I travel often from New Braunfels to Rockport, and I will absolutely rebook this home. What a gem!

Beautiful location

We loved this house for my birthday weekend. Neighbors are awesome, the fishing was great. Caught a 42inch black drum and 7 sheepshead ranging from 19-22inches. The kiddos loved playing outside.

Almost perfect!

This place was absolutely beautiful. There were a few maintenance issues (rocking chairs outside broken, kitchen table bench broken, no water pressure in two showers, etc) but I know those things can be fixed. Other than that, it was an incredibly beautiful house. The neighborhood was beautiful and neighbors were friendly. It had all the kitchen necessities, WiFi and everything we needed. We caught a lot of fish!! About 4 keeper Red fish, 7 black drum, 2 speckled trout and a flounder right off the personal pier. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home with Great Fishing and Views

The home looks much bigger in person which was a nice surprise. All my family members were happy with most of the accommodations. We all felt very safe there. We had one issue with a shower but maintenance came within a few hours to fix the issue. We would definitely rent from Miss KItty’s Fishing Getaways again. The only thing I could say about the property that was not beneficial is that it does not sleep 12 larger built people and did not have 12 beds. Other than that it was pretty much perfect.

House Keeping

Not sure who all I need to send this to since we paid Missy Kitty's directly for the rental. The House layout, Location, & Water views were amazing. However, not impressed with the house keeping. We walked in to pet hair all over the floors, frig & furniture. Smooshed flies on Kitchen cabinets. Kitchen faucet had what appeared to be pancake mix all over it & a couple of bathroom faucets had what appeared to be dried toothpaste splattered on them. A lot of the dishes pulled from cabinet(s) were previously put away still dirty. No kitchen wash rags nor drying towels. 2 small (3 oz) squeeze bottles of dishsoap, 2 trash bags & 2 dishwasher tabs provided. For a group of 10 guests, I am used to you providing more house hold cleaning items than what was provided. We had to pick up fish hooks from all over the slab before we could let the kids play. Trash bins were full of garbage & yard had party favors left all over. We had to clean the BBQ prior to using & both buckets were full of ashes from previous use. The house was not cooling down properly so we checked the air filter which was filthy. We weren't able to locate replacement filters so my husband took the existing one out side & removed as much of the dust as possible & put it back into the return (doing that made a significant difference).

Looks like the trout have rebounded from the major fish kill from the freeze a few years back. We vacationed in Rockport June, 2021 and also in October 2021. Trout were almost absent. It's encouraging to see how well they are doing and to catch them in numbers. We have been staying in Miss Kitty Homes from the beginning of the business. We have found it to be a reliable, quality operation.

The house comfortably slept our family of 12. Everyone had their own space and was comfortable. The family that slept upstairs did comment that it took longer for that room to cool off in the evenings. Miss Kitty's is very responsive when we thought we had an issue. The whole process (booking, checkin and checkout) was very easy.

Amazing Views

This house gave us the beach view we needed. We saw a dolphin!! Fishing was great and really no complaints at all! Def on my fave listo for renting again when we come to the coast..

Beautiful views and property.

Beautiful views and property. Close to Fulton with many places to eat some really good food. Plenty of places to fish and also very close to Port Aransas where you can take an island tour or a fishing trip! Team went above and beyond helping me find the right place to stay!
