Spring Break 2023

We had a lovely stay! The house is beautiful and is in a very quiet location, yet a close walk to the beach and path. The house is perfectly set-up for families traveling with children. The hosts are super responsive and provide great recommendations. The heated pool was such a treat on cooler days. We had a wonderful stay!

Absolutely beautiful

Stunning home. Owners didn't skimp on anything in home from decor to fully supplied kitchen to extremely comfortable beds. The heated pool and fire pit/bar area were amazing. Wrap around porch with swings were a favorite. 5 min walk to beach. We will be booking this house again.

Wonderful

The house is great for families, we had 6 adults and 4 kids. Bunk rook was perfect, and the pool was amazing. easy walk to Beach. We just had a great time except for the rain. But that is Florida. Home was Amazing!!!!!

35th Birthday

Stayed here for my birthday weekend and it was an absolute dream home! From its short walk to 30A, to the amenities at the house, to the private pool, this house had everything that we could have asked for. Christine and Nick were very responsive with any questions we had, which is a HUGE plus. We have already discussed on making this house an annual tradition for when we come back to visit 30A. It simply was amazing.

Perfection!

We rented this beautiful home with another family for Spring Break week. Anyone that is familiar with 30a knows that spring break is one of the busiest times of year. We were pleasantly surprised that this home felt like a little oasis away from the busyness. It is setback from the street and the backyard is very private. The fact that the street it is on is not a through street is wonderful. The home itself had absolutely everything you could need. Having rented houses before we came prepared with many things and realized we really didn’t need to bring anything! What a sweet treat that was! The heated pool was perfect since the beach was pretty crowded, cool and windy. All of the bedrooms were very good sizes and the overall house was very quiet. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

I cannot express enough how much I loved staying here! The house exceeded all expectations, it is absolutely beautiful & the pool/backyard/deck is a perfect size. I went there for my bachelorette trip, mostly looking for a place that was peaceful and close to the beach. This had all of that and more! The beach is an easy 5 minute walk and the house provided plenty of beach chairs for all us girls (the beach chairs even recline, they are awesome!) The beach access point was so cute & it was easy to find a place on the beach since it was mostly a residential access spot. I canceled plans a few times because I just didn’t want to leave the house, there was so much to do there! My biggest regret is not staying longer. I was internally kicking and screaming I didn’t want to leave! And Christine & Nick were super quick to answer any questions I had upon booking and through our entire stay. I definitely will be booking here again! And if you’re on the fence, just book it. It was hard to imagine it being prettier than the photos but it is. This place is amazing.

Perfect for Multi Generational Families

First of all, this is the best beach house I have ever booked. My family was so impressed by this home. Christine was so responsive and always one text away if we needed anything. The description of this home and its amenities does not even begin to describe all of the activities and additional features that are included when you arrive. My sister and her husband have 3 littles and they ended up bringing certain items that the home already had; eg pool toys, beach toys, pack n plays, kid plates/sippy cups/utensils, etc. Truly this home is perfection for large families. With that being said, it would also be perfect for girls trips/bachelorette parties because the home is so gorgeous/aesthetic(perfect for photo ops) and had plenty of storage to keep the home tidy and cozy. The location is so easy to find and safe. The entire home, backyard, storage room were extremely organized and clean. The quality of the amenities was probably my favorite attribute to this stay. The bikes, beach supplies, beach chairs, pool, outdoor furniture, everything was the nicest I have ever seen in a rental property. I just can’t thank Christine enough for making this the best family vacation we have ever had. I have stayed on 30a many times in the last few years and this stay was the best experience by far. One of the nights, my family used the grill to cookout, firepit for s’mores, pool for a pool party. These memories will last a lifetime and Caught By a Wave made it possible.

Great NYE stay at Caught By a Wave!

Our family had such a nice stay at this property over the NYE holiday. The house is clean, newly renovated, tastefully decorated, and on a quiet tree-lined street, not far at all from the beach access. We swam in the pool (heated) every day and warmed up after swimming at the fire pit. The master bedroom is huge and the bed is comfortable. Christine (owner) was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had promptly. Loved our stay and we will return!!
