Charming Pinetop Cabin - Completely Fenced Yard

Great location in the heart of Pinetop! Cabin is nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood with big ponderosa pine trees. The property is completely fenced in and your four-legged friends are welcome! Less than a mile to local favorites, The Den (with live music), Charlie Clark's Restaurant and outdoor Barn Bar (with firepits and live music ), Eddie's Country Store (great smoked meats and novelty jams and sauces), and the famous Red Devil Pizza. Cabin is less than 3 miles to the Hon-Dah Casino, endless antique shopping and 30 minutes to Sunrise Ski Resort!

This cozy 'lodge-style,' knotty pine cabin is tucked away in the beautiful Ponderosa Pines on a large wooded private lot with a spacious wrap around deck on 3 sides of the cabin and enclosed front porch. New carpet installed, remodeled master bath, and upgraded deck in May 2016.

Cabin features all brand new matresses and plenty of amenities: 1 wood burning stoves for that winter ambiance, 1 gas stove and base heat. Cabin has HUGE master bedroom with king bed with master bath and the wood burning stove. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs with a queen bed in one room and two single beds in the other. The new couch in family room is a pull out queen. Full kitchen complete with microwave, coffee pot, pans, serving dishes, and utensils. Two baths with separate dressing area in the master inclusive of a full-size washer and dryer. Remote office desk space in both the master and twin bedroom. The rustic lodgepole furnishings throughout and charming decor is sure to enhance your mountain get-away.

Come escape from the hectic city, slow down, and enjoy the clean mountain air and friendly small town atmosphere. Outdoor enthusiasts will be amazed with the over 40 lakes and streams that offer up abundant fishing including bass, trout, pike, walleye, catfish, and crappie. The White Mountains offer four distinct seasons with 70-degree summers, a winter wonderland, and 180 miles of developed hiking trails, remote camping and wildlife, downhill and cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, nine golf courses, year round festivals, casino gambling, unique shops, and many restaurants and bars with 'true mountain' charm and character.

Nicely located cabin. It is very dog friendly, with dog bed, dish, treats and even sofa covers. The yard is fenced. It has a screened porch with a fan for those warmer summer afternoons. Primary bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The place has huge TVs, and work space with multi-screens. Wifi was nice and stable.The area is wooded and quiet, yet minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Enjoyable stay!

Overall, we had a nice stay. I was put off that the main window in the master bedroom wouldn’t open for ventilation. Also, no window covering? I had to make sure the neighbors weren’t outside when dressing. The Wi-Fi and TV set up were great. The king bed was comfy. The sofa was very low and somewhat uncomfortable.

Pinetop rustic cabin vacation

My husband and I enjoyed our two weeks in this cozy Aframe cabin. Comfortable, spacious, close to Pinetop attractions lakes, hiking trails and quiet neighborhood in the tall pines. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard and we hope to return next summer for another stay.

Pinetop cabin

The property around the cabin was well-kept and I loved the fenced yard for my dog. In the cabin I was not pleased with the stained carpet and felt with a little work, those stains could have been cleaned. The rest of the cabin was cozy, but a little dark to me. I guess I am not used to the trees providing so much shade. I came from Phoenix, so I am used to the bright sunshine. Also, the cabin had a lot of "stuff" in it and in some places, it seemed it was used for storage. The picture online looks as though the cabin is by itself in the woods. In reality it sits in a community where many of the homes are close together. So be aware. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The weather was perfect, and I loved the afternoon thunderstorms. The host was very kind and helpful which I felt was very important! The people I met in the community were all very kind. It is a beautiful area to visit and close to anything you would need.

Loved my two week stay at this cabin. So quiet and peaceful. Well equipped and great location not far from amenities in town. The host is excellent, very responsive and helpful. Wonderful place, highly recommended!

Great getaway from the Heat with our Dog!

We wanted to get away but its hard when you have a needy dog! We loved that this place was fenced and allowed dogs. They even had a stack of dog beds! We brought ours along with her crate but i still thought it was a nice touch! We cooked in the kitchen and it was stocked with pretty much everything we needed.Loved sitting out on the deck staring up at the trees! Thank you for sharing your place!

Cabin Needs a little Work

The cabin was great for our dogs with the fenced yard and a lot of room to run around. However, the inside is very old with mostly carpet throughout and could really use a remodel. Also, the deck had a lot of debris on it that wasn't swept off and we had clean bird poop off of the patio chairs ourselves. The screened in porch was dirty and unwelcoming. Overall, wasn't as clean as we would have liked. Might want to hire a better cleaning service.

Very peaceful and relaxing

Took are two dogs and family for long weekend to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. You can tell the owners love dogs outdoor fenced area is very secure and any hole the dogs could get into has securely been blocked. Very clean both inside and out.love the deck area so nice to drink coffee and take in the fresh air. Only negative was upstairs bedrooms were pretty hot at night even with fans. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful summer getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay up in Pinetop. The cabin was just as described in the listing. It had everything you would need to cook at home. It was wonderful to sit outside all day! We loved having a fenced in area for our dog. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. It was the perfect getaway.

A little disappointed

Quiet neighborhood and nice deck to relax on, but pics of size of yard and closeness to other homes deceiving. Beds extremely hard to sleep on. Lingering gas smell after using stove top and have never stayed anywhere that told you to strip the beds and start a load before leaving.

Family and Pet Friendly Cabin

We had a very nice visit to this cabin in Pinetop. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 and our puppy. We especially enjoyed the deck and the enclosed Arizona room!

Great Hideaway

Everything was very rustic and woody. My husband and friends loved the place. No complaints. The weather was perfect. Close to some great restaurants. We did not cook just snacked and ate out. Very nice T Vs and solid internet connection. Management responded quickly to answer questions. Very pleased!

Great geataaway

This was a great cabin to rent especially for our dogs Since the front and back are fully fenced. There was a great deck to sit and relax on the whole weekend was a quiet nice neighborhood and also a great neighborhood for walking. Everything was clean and comfortable we will definitely be back

Wonderful family cabin trip to play in the snow.

We had a great time staying at your cabin for several days. Everything was as presented in the description. Our host was very quick to respond to our few basic questions before arriving. Our dog had a blast playing in the huge fenced in yard and the kids enjoyed the snow. They took advantage of the sleds provided. The cabin had everything we needed with plenty of room for the kids to play. Very close to all the restaurants and shops in town but in a quiet neighborhood. We loved our stay. Thank you!

Quaint family getaway

We had a lovely time at the little A-frame cabin! It’s rustic charm was perfect for our ski trip. We thought we were going to be cold at first but once the heat kicked in it was toasty warm. We skied most days so we were thankful for that heat! The yard was great for the dogs as well!

Great winter cabin

We had a blast!! There were a couple of minor maintenance things but nothing that got in the way of our enjoyment. Love the fenced in yard and the pet friendly atmosphere!!! Neighborhood is fantastic, close to everything and super safe. Glad we found this cute hideaway in the pines!

The Worst Rental I’ve Ever Had

I’m not sure how this place is still renting on vrbo. There were nails in the driveway and I ended up stranded at the grocery store with a flat tire. Just save yourself the headache and rent somewhere else. When we arrived we quickly realized we had been mislead by the pictures online. It’s ok for a cabin to be rustic but this house is so old it isn’t even safe to stay in. They have it up for sale but it should just be torn down. No one had shoveled the dilapidated old stairs and I don’t think anyone has ever cleaned off the deck or lawn chairs. It was an ice skating rink to the front door. The plywood front porch is something straight from a murder scene and that’s where the horror story really begins. But don’t worry you won’t be able to see anything in the pitch black night as there is no porch light to turn on! The kitchen stove and grill were filthy and old. The hood over the stove is low and sticks out at a dangerous angle. I ran into it and cut my head on the sharp corner. The place only has one functioning baseboard heater in the living room so I hope you like wearing your winter coat in the house. You can’t start a fire in the wood burner because the thing is so old the whole house might go up in flames. But don’t worry your feet will be warm because the carpet is so grotesque you won’t want to take your shoes off. The light in my room was hanging from a bare wire. And when I stripped the sheets off of the bed the pillow was horribly stained and dirty. I was horrified to see what I had slept on. The stairs leading up to the bedrooms are a narrow dark death trap. I ended up taking a tumble because they are old and poorly built. Be careful not to hit your head again because they are very low. The place is advertised as having 2 bathrooms but one of them is directly off of the kitchen and offers absolutely no privacy. Also, it only has a dirty old bathtub! So don’t plan on showering in there. All four of us had to use the one tiny shower off of the master bedroom. If you stay in the upstairs bedrooms you’re in for a treat! You’ll be running down the stairs in the middle of the night if you need to pee.
