Location is wonderful - just steps from the beach and the community felt secure. Close to restaurants and stores. The unit isn’t super updated but was enough to feel comfortable.

great for family with kitchen fully stocked. Bed a bit worn out. needs cleaner bed sheets and thicker blankets. These were my worries about the stay, I wasn't too comfortable with these arrangements. but I was glad to have found the area and apartment. It was perfect to be so close to the beach and its access.

Perfect family vacation

Butch and Heidi were a dream to work with. They thought of everything and checked in on us a couple of times during the week to make sure we didn’t need anything else. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The boardwalk to the beach was very close, so we were able to access it within a few minutes. We were extremely pleased with our accommodations and found St Augustine to be a lovely place to visit.

Daughter’s wedding

This is a great location with access to the beach, fine dining and shopping. We are definitely planning on staying again in the future! Butch Allen and Heidi Zellie are absolutely the best host ever. They are always available to assist with any needs!

Great Location

This is a perfect location for those who plan on spending a lot of time on the beach. The walkway through the dunes to the beach is just out the back door. The beach is large and clean and the waves were great. The condo was comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the beach towels and cozy blankets.

Take my Breath Away!

Beautiful views, clean, safe, and relaxing unit. Just a few short steps to the beach and wonderful hosts. The unit is a nice size and very well equipped. We loved every moment of our stay and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you for such a relaxing stay.

Labor Day girls trip

This is our 2nd time in this unit because the first time was so amazing. Both bedrooms have on suite bathrooms, the kitchen is huge and the laundry has its own separate laundry room just outside the unit. Allows so much kitchen counter space and a huge pantry. Steps to the beach and pool. Perfect vacation!

Pleasantly comfortable

We enjoyed the fully equipped full size kitchen, appliances, comfortable beds & close to St Augustine activities. The condo had many nice updates without losing it's special character. Plenty of restaurants close by. The owners were very kind and quick to respond to our communications. It's really a great location even without a ocean view but still on the beach. We are happy to recommend this VRBO.

Beach Vacation

This was by no doubt one of best places we have stayed. Great location for town St Augustine and dining locations. If it’s shopping you want then you are with 30 minutes of the outlet mall at I-95 and SR-16.

Nice condo on the beach

The stay was great. The condo was comfortable and it was especially nice to have a bathroom in each bedroom. We felt safe in the gated community. Condo was close to many great little restaurants and grocery stores. The beach was steps away. It was close to town which made doing the touristy things easy! A great stay in St Augustine!

Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The unit is a very short walk to the beach. There is a lovely patio with which to sit, relax, and enjoy the fresh air. The kitchen is very large and made cooking away from home easy. Bathrooms are somewhat small, but met our needs. There is a large laundry room with washer and dryer which is handy. The interior is comfy, but with a very much lived in feel. Could use a little sprucing (cabinets are worn) The pool area was great and the property was quiet and secure. We met several lovely people. We would stay again.

Perfect getaway for a girlfriend trip!

Great place for 2 adult women friends to getaway together! We each had our own spacious beds and private bedrooms with attached private bathrooms. The kitchen, living area and patio were perfect for spending time together. The short walk to the beach and short drive to historical St. Augustine made it the perfect location.

Outstanding property!! Fantastic location on the property. First floor, close to beach.

This place was “as advertised”. Clean, bright and comfortable. It’s in the only building in that resort that you don’t need to walk down a hallway to enter. You literally park in front of the kitchen door. No stairs or elevator. Keyless entry with a quality lock. The beach is steps away. The resort is clean and well maintained. The HVAC works great and is very even and quiet. Communication with Butch and Heidi were excellent. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and well appointed. There are sidewalks everywhere, so walking a few miles for exercise every morning was a joy. We had some fantastic beach days and a couple days with iffy weather. No problem, there’s plenty to do within a 20 minute drive. Movie theaters, restaurants and beautiful St. Augustine. Use the public parking garage for a flat $15. For all day. No apps or meters. They have an actual person. Had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Mark and Nancy

Girlfriends Birthday celebration

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating a 50th birthday! This unit has a wide open and newly remodeled kitchen with walk in pantry. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you can imagine to make a simple or gourmet meal. Top quality surfaces and appliances. The large laundry room is in a separate room adjoining the condo and is wonderful for storage, or laundry. Tons of space. The bathrooms are newly remodeled with large vanities-6 large drawers AND a center cabinet in the master. New low rise walk in shower. Pocket doors allow extra space in bathrooms. There is a wall of closet space in the master and plenty of storage in the guest room. All 4 of us slept well on the king and queen beds. This unit is unique to any other unit we have stayed in at this complex. Great use of space. We have already booked another week this year.

Nice place!

Loved being near the beach & nearby shopping. The place was clean & cute. We were 2 couples, the master bedroom was super, the other a bit small with not good places to put everything but we managed.

We live on a small off-grid homestead just outside of Asheville, NC. One of our favorite spots to visit has always been St. Augustine, and we won/host multiple properties in the area.

Back at home on the mountain, Maria is a kindergarten teacher, and Butch is a tech entrepreneur. We have two daughters who enjoy school, traveling, and meeting new people. We are so happy to have an excuse to visit the St. Augustine area many many times a year combining our work and play.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This new remodel is fully unique to the entirety of the St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet complex. Walls have been blown out, and a full pantry is included in the kitchen. The laundry room is located just outside, but adjacent to the condo itself - again opening up precious living space for you to enjoy. The result is the most spacious condo you can imagine for the square feet. It's easy to feel cramped in a small space, but that's never the case at our Super Spacious Remodel.

While the re-worked interior of the condo is so inviting you may never want to leave, don't forget...you are at the beach!! Exiting through the front french doors puts you just 100 feet from the boardwalk...beyond which lay miles of beautiful moderately populated beach. You won't find any highrises or long Starbucks lines in St. Augustine Beach - the pace of life is decidedly mellow even for a beach town.

Being able to walk to dozens of restaurants of all types and quickly access Publix and Winn Dixie both less than a mile away, means you won't waste your vacation driving around in your car.

When you are ready to get out and explore, you are less than 15 minutes to St. Augustine's historic old town. Entertainment, history, 5-star dining, shopping and so much more await. Imagine if New Orleans and Savannah had a baby - that's St. Augustine!
